Seth nodded his head a little, but then remembered that she couldn't see him. Seth winced a little at the thought and glanced at the fireplace, wondering if he could break the curse if he could become stronger. "Yeah, he said she was doing fine. He said that Garron was watching over her. . . Isn't he supposed to be your bodyguard?" Seth asked after his statement. He wondered why the man who was hired to protect Lina, wasn't.

Seth thought on this a moment, not sure of how to take her casualness of such a thing. But then again, the guard would get paid for being absent so he figured such was alright. Then that thought lead his mind through a series of questions about what could have happened had Garron actually been around when Lina was cursed, then to the thoughts on where he was and what he was doing before coming to rest at the arena. He bit his lower lip lightly when he remembered that he should be at the arena waiting for a match. He pondered it a moment, before he thought about what would happen if he was found in Lina's room. He frowned and glanced at Lina, unsure of what he should say. "I wonder what your father would say if he found out I was a gladiator." Seth said a little absently, wondering if he could actually challenge her father if the man found he was lied to.

Seth pondered this a moment. She was right, though he didn't want to accept it as a possibility. He needed to learn how to control his abilities, and he knew the only way he could was through fighting. He learned the most in a stressful situation, and what better way to learn than in a life or death battle? He couldn't think of one. He smiled, though it wasn't for the offer. He knew what she was trying to say and he knew he couldn't do that, not yet. "That would be nice, but I wouldn't want to become a burden. You have done so much, I would hate to feel like I was taking advantage of you. Besides I need to do this." Seth said quietly.

Seth looks at Lina and hears the disappointment in her voice. It upsets him a little, but he mustn't do anything that could bring her to harm. He needs to learn to control his powers, it is something he knows to be truth. He nods his head though, not wishing to leave the princess alone. "Yes, I am not going to leave you alone. But I will return after each match, I won't forget about you." Seth said with a smile, though it was a small one.

Seth in fact was more worried about how Lina was dealing with being impaired then about his own problems. He could still see her, though she couldn't him, and it upset him, though it wasn't on his mind at the moment. He would find a way to remove that curse, or he would kill the man responsible. Yes, he wanted to back to paint the walls red with that man's blood, though he would never accept such wicked desires. It was almost frightening to hear so many variations of his own voice pass through his head, even though they were still his. "I will remain as safe as any freelancer can be. But I will be trying my best to remain untouched." Seth said quietly. He didn't wish to lie to Lina by telling her he wouldn't be within harms way, though he wanted her to know he would be doing his best to come out of the matches unscathed.

Seth reaches out and lets his hand slip once more into the hand of Lina. "I promise." Seth said with a small smile. He was only in this to hopefully get some sort of understanding of his power, not to get killed.

Hurt? He didn't understand what she was saying, but placed his arms around her anyway. He enjoyed the little contact, but he was careful not to let himself lose himself to the sensation. "But, I am not hurt." Seth said quietly.
