Claw's eyes flickered down at their hands. He wanted to ask what she did that for, but the angel still didn't want to question the half-demon. Not yet, at least. She was being nice for a change.

Using her other hand, Mickey got another bit of food and ate it quietly. Sure, the way she was sitting was a bit uncomfortable, but she didn't complain. The half demon appeared to be completely content.

"I don't know," Mickey replied, giving a shrug. "But right now he's our only way home, right?" Letting go of Claw, Mickey sat up, stretching her arms. She stood up. "I'll be right back," she said. "I won't go too far," she added, in case anybody told her to stay in the group. As she began to walk away, the half demon wondered if Claw would follow, but didn't look back to see if he was.

"Oh, okay. See you, then." Claw muttered back to her. She was right; through Hari was the only way back home. Under normal circumstances, he would have acted differently, but the train of thought he was on now wasn't a normal one for the angel.

Dammit, he's not following, Mickey thought.
Larissa knew what Mickey was thinking. "You're just gonna let her go off alone like that?" she aked the angel. "She might be meeting some guy~"

Blinking, Claw turned around to look at Larissa. The fairy was right... He didn't want his illusion to come true. Claw bounded out of his seat, following after Mickey with a leasurely(sp?) pace.

Hearing footsteps, Mickey kept walking, pretending she didn't hear Claw following. After a little longer, when they were out of earshot and eyesight of the group, Mickey began to slow down.

Hari had watched the children carefully, listening to their conversations without saying a word. He didn't seem to react to any of their words, keeping the content smile on his face the entire time. It was not his place to tell them what was to happen in the coming days. That would not be fair to all of the other groups that had come before them.

"hun, you're not meeting any other guys out here. Larissa said you might- so I'm following you. Again. Do you think I give a crap what you say? I don't trust that Hari guy." Claw spoke once the half-demon started to slow. Claw figured that Mickey would notice him sometime sooner or later- and it was better to be sooner.

Mickey turned in place, a smile on her face though inside she was a little ticked. "I never said I trusted him; I said that he's our only way out of here right now." She stepped towards Claw. "And why would I be meeting other guys out here? I have you."

Claw's mind was screeching at him to believe Mickey's words, and so a major portion of him did. His over-confident, hot-headed self took over, at once crashing any intelligent train of thought that might have been in his mind before. "True." He spoke, a flicker of a wolfish smile appearing. His eyes lay on Mickey for a second, before going to inspect his hand as if he didn't care.

"So relax," the half demon continued. She stepped closer, close enough to cup Claw's cheek in the palm of her hand. "I'm not going anywhere," she spoke, reinforcing what she'd said before; "Not without you."

"Good." Claw seemed to relax more with Mickey's words this time, now that his doubt had been forgotten. His eyes looked back at her, as he now noticed how close she was to him. Again.
