The half demon laughed again. "Don't look so confused~ I thought about it on the walk up here and decided to forgive you~" It was a believable enough story, in Mickey's opinion. They had walked for a few hours.

Claw didn't want to question Mickey's words. "Really?" He muttered after he swallowed. "And did your little fairy friend tell you what she told me?" Personally, though, Claw was still upset about the incident with Larissa. She'd sounded really mad at him, too.
((I wanna play Holt... but I'm too lazy >.< ))

"Depends. What did she tell you~?" Mickey asked, taking another bite of food after she spoke.

"That the world would be better off without me." Mumbled Claw. He didn't look at Mickey anymore as he spoke; Larissa's words were still hauntingly close to what had happened in his illusion, and that was enough to creep Claw out.

"Oh, that's not true~" Mickey insisted. "Larissa was just mad~ Right Lar~?"
"Yeah, sure," the fairy replied bitterly, resisting an urge to roll her eyes.

"But.... I saw... what she said." Claw stared down at his half-eaten food. His lips pressed together. He was glad to hear what he was hearing out of Mickey's lips... but somehow it seemed too good to be true. 'Listen to them.' his mind instructed himself. 'They need you, stupid. Dur. Who doesn't?'

Claw relaxed out of the tension he once felt. Mickey's words were reassuring enough, and that calmed him down. "Okay. You better not leave without me." He sighed, taking another bite of his food.

"Wouldn't dream of it," the half demon replied airily. She looked around for a second, momentarily making eye contact with Larissa. After doing so, Mickey scooted a little closer to Claw.

Too wrapped up in his own thoughts, Claw didn't notice Mickey's seat shift. "You better not." He repeated again, more or less to himself. Claw threw the remainders of his food to the ground, but didn't lift his eyes off of it.

"How many times do I have to say I won't?" Mickey asked, shifting a little more before resting her head on Claw's shoulder.

Claw wasn't completely stupid (though he may have come close to it), and this time he did notice Mickey. When did she get there? "I don't know." He replied brusqly(sp?) to the pink-haired half demon. "How many times do you think you have to?"
