She seemed in awe as she slowly let go of his hand and walked around the room, tracings her slender fingers along the bed frame and its canopy. She looked to the fire place and looked into the flames as they danced off the gold in her eyes. After a bit, she turned to face Kyo again smiling. "This is a very nice room, I'll take it...where will you be?" Kyo smiled, he walked over to the window and drew the curtains,"Cmer I want to show you sometihng."he pointed out the window to whta looked like a hazey windo opening onto what looked like a beautiful sandy beach, with crystal clear water, and a perfect red, orange, yellow and purple sunset.'That is a window into the other dimention...Nirvana."

Ranae sat there silently for quite awhile longer, staring off into the flames of the campfire they had made. She didnt notice as a sailor pried her fingers open to release Drum's reins. Finally, as Matsu pinched down painfully on a sensitive spot on her ear her body jolted and she sat upright, giving a startled yalp of suprize and pain, slapping his hand away and clutching her ear. But then she noticed a slightly greater pain. Her head was pounding and, frowning with confusion she moved her hand to gently press agains her forehead. Pain sliced through her making her jerk her hand away. She could feel the crusted blood on her face from the wound which stung with salt from the ocean. She cursed under her breath. The last thing she needed right now was an injury. A reason to give all these men to make even more of a fuss over her. She sighed, exasperated. This wasnt turning out to be her day.

Matsu smiled, she would be alright, but she would have a headache. Taking out a herb, Matsu rubbed it on her head. " I don't care if you don't want this treatment, your getting it." he said with a strong tone. "Now stay still." he said as he put on a leaf around her forhead. Now Ranae had something to deal with the pain, it would have to do. "Now, don't take this off until tomorrow night, or the wound will get infected." Matsu said taking on his fatherly tone. Sighing Matsu was happy to be home, yet it didn't feel as good as it normally would.

"Its so beautiful.....can we go?" She turned back to look at him with a smile, her face glowing, her eyes happy. It was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. The lights reflecting off the water, however, made her tired and she slowly fell to the ground tiredly. Before she even hit the floor, she was asleep.

Kyo smile dto himself, picked her up and carried her to the bed, and pulled the covers over her, and kissed her on the forehead, goodnight. He walked out and clesed the door behind him quietly. He pulled a uard walking by and slammed him into the wall, and said"I want two guards at this door at all times, tending to what ever the lady indaie needs or desires, down to the smallest detail, is that clear?" the guard repleid in the affirmative. Kyo walked down the hall into his own room, and feel asleep.

Ranae closed her eyes tightly, grinding her teeth so as not to make a sound. It stung and burned and made her head flash with pain. But as he placed the leaf or whatever it was over her wound, the pain dissapeared to leave in its place a nice numb feeling. It still pulsed slightly with a dull ache, but it was just a headache and that was expected. Once he leaned back from her wound that she gave him a little half grin.
" Thank you father" She said in a joking tone, amusement sparkling in her eyes. WHen a sailor tapped her shoulder and politely offered her a cup of warm liquid, she took it gratefully with a nice thank you and once again turned towards the fire, taking a small experimental sip. She smiled behind the mug as she found it was ale and took another more bold gulp. It warmed her sore throat, promising that her coughing fits would not bother her that night. That was good, she thought to herself, Matsu was already treating her like a cripple anyways. She grinned again behind the mug and shook her head, taking another swig.

Matsu had a feeling that Ranae didn't like being treated as though she were a cripple. The truth of the matter was, he couldn't care less, but having a few grandchildren, gave him those fatherly tendencies. His voice calm, Matsu spoke. " I apologize if I am treating you as though you needed help, but everyone needs help, I don't honestly care that your blind, one of my grandson's is deaf, and I don't treat him any differently from my other grandchildren." Matsu said reflecting back it had been awhile since he had been a grandpa, he was now too many greats to count.

Ranae waved aside his apology airily, shaking her head. Now she gazed into the fire unseeing, listening intently as Matsu fidgeted slightly in his seat. He appeared to be in deep thought and she took another small swig of her ale before asking curiously.
" Do you miss your family, sir? Where are they now?"

While some of them are here in Japan, others have moved all over the world" Matsu said reflecting. "Course I have so many it's hard to keep track of where they all are." he said laughing slightly. " Though I do love all my family. It's hard to miss them though, since I travel around Japan often enough, and every few years we have a large family gathering." he said happily remembering the last one.

Ranae smiled softly as she listened to the man. He seemed to go a big soft one when speaking of those he loved. she stayed silent after he finished speaking, trying to imagine what such a family gethering would look like. What she came up with her her mind almost made her laugh but she controlled herself, not wanting the man to think she was laughing at him. She had finished her ale and now her eyelids were getting ready to comfortbably settle themselves over her eyes. The cold ocean breeze picked up breifly and she wrapped the blanket closer around her.
" I do think its time for me to turn in..We might have a rough day tomorrow if im not mistaken." She stopped talking to hide a wide sleepy yawn with her hand.

"Your hut is right behind you, it isn't too bad in there, just not much room for much other than sleeping." Matsu said looking at the moon. As he watched a dragon flew threw the night sky, seeming to have finished bringing some rain back to the farmer's fields, he watched it for awhile, as it soared pass the moon, and went off presumably to it's lake or river. Watching the fire for a bit, he felt the warmth heating the fire with a bit of magic.

After fighting for some time he called out to the rest of them. " Open the flood gate! we can drown and seperate the enemy! Then let us lure them into the mines and close off all doors! Go!" he called and they took his orders. The gate opened and the river flew. Washing away 5000 orcs and demons, and seprated the groups. Now they had to go threw the dwarven minds, or the citadel. " Master Haku, wont you be joining us in the retreat to the mines!" A solider called. " No i will not, and this is no Retreat it is a Lure!" He replied. The solider ran in and they closed the gate. Some orcs were trapped in the citadel but not many. They killed them and took the remaining troops to the mines, sealing off all entries and exits. There they would restock and prepare for one one one combat. The mines could be used to there advantage more then others because in it it was narrow so they would have to come in single lines, leaving for one on one combat. The also had traps in the mines and if needed they could pull the plug, making the mines fall, but to do that you needed a good deal of men and they would also die. Some orcs made their way across the water and others went around to the other entrances. Haku became a dragon and swungs around making them fall back. He flew into the water and hung in the depths of it. Dragons made of the rivers water appeared standing up in the water. There were many of them. A good 15 Large ones. They flew out from the river and stretched out. All of the orcs they hit were either killed or armors was completly destroyed by the high pressure water that they contained. Haku did this for a good several miniutes and killed a good ammount of the orcs. His magic was low now. He flew out of the water and reverted to his normal self. He held his blades in hand and slashed the orcs he fell on. Kicking and fighting the rest of them, he continued, hoping that his plan would work. He intended for a good amount of orcs to run from him and go in the minds, not knowing its narrowness, just wanting to kill. When they were there, all the members leave the caves upward towards the tops, with a set few behind to pull the plug and let the mines fall. Then they could defeat the rest of the orcs and save the Citadel, which was nearly destroyed now. (( The dragons look similar the the ones made of water on the left. ))

Ranae stood and nodded politely to the man.
" Well I'll see you in the morning, my lord." She smiled at him and set her empty glass down in the sand before taking her walking cane in her hand and turning around walking slowly until her cane hit wood. She got on all fours and climbed into the shabby shelter. Placing her cane next to her sleeping mat, she released her braids from their pon tail and took a moment to remove her sandals. She then kay back on her soft matt and closed her eyes. Sleep didnt come to her as fast as she thought it would. She ddnt know how long she listened to the crackling of the fire outside or the quiet hushed chatter of the few sailors that were still up or strolling through the small encampment they had set up. But finally Ranae drifted off into a peacefull sleap, not plagued by her violent coughing fits which had worsened as of late. She thanked the ale and prayed that there would be more the next night to soothe her aching throat.

Matsu smiled as he heard Ranae drift off to sleep he himself walked away from the camp, and searched for water. After 30 minutes of searching he found a stream. Taking out a little plant, Matsu dipped it in the water it sucked up the water greedily, put nothing happened. It was a little demon invention he had, good for testing water. Taking out a small piece of wood from his pocket, he transformed it into a barrel and filled it with water. Carrying it on his back, Matsu sighed, physical work wasn't his strong suit. Placing down the barrel and putting a lid on it, he smiled. This would be good to have in the morning for drinking.

A bright light could be seen at the top of the Azuchi Castle. Arrode stood at the peak of the ruins and stared out into the vast area ahead of her. "Splendid view. Whoever built this place must have been a strong and mighty ruler. I can see miles away from here." Indeed, the mountains bowed down to yield the forest scene. She turned her attention to the rubble inside the castle. "This place is destroyed now. What a pity that such a stronghold could fall when it was meant to last." Arrode peered at the broken stone walls, the dusty floor, and the demolished courtyard. "However," she continued, "Things can be rebuilt. Empires rise and fall in the blink of an eye."
Arrode knelt down and leaped into the air. She allowed herself to freefall into the courtyard she noticed earlier. The ground gave way to the tremendous force gravity applied to her transit. Chips and pieces of white stone splashed around, as if she stepped into a giant and deep puddle. She scanned her surroundings. "Things can certainly be fixed." Arrode loved the courtyard. She didn't know what drew her to it. It was her favorite place in the ruins.
"Destiny awaits." She surged into the sky, leaving a trail of dust and light behind to mark her route. Arrode disappeared behind a white and puffy cloud. Darkness invaded the purity of the innocent cloud and swallowed it whole. Soon, other clouds began to darken. A flash of light momentarily lit up the land before a loud rumble rocked the planet.
