He reached the bare rock wall after riding for a while, and dismouted, tying his horse to a nearby tree that had no leaves and whose branches were burnt. Yukimura walked up to the wall and touched one place with his left hand, and a second with his right. At first, nothing seemed to happen. Then, suddenly, a large square of rock began to recede, and then sunk into the earth. Yukimura casually stepped through the hole in the rock, ignoring his horses neigh.

He went deeper into the cavern until it lost all light, but continued to walk along it's twisting path, having memorized it's route long before. A reddish haze began to come into view ahead of him, and he continued to head towards it, a little faster now.

Ranae didnt know how long she had been laying on the forest floor. The cold silence disturbed every now and then by a soft sob, muffled slightly by the soft moss that coated everything. But Ranae couldnt stay like this all night, waiting for Josh to come back to her. Why had he ran from her in the first place. Ranaes sorrow flared into anger. It burned inside of her, making her blood boil. She clenched her fists and slowly got to her feet. After awhile of wandering through the forest she finally found her way back to the clearing. There she found Drum who had been peacefully munching on the lush grass. Ranae wanted to get away from this place. Far away. Making sure that everything was packed snuggly to Drums back, she mounted up and leaned forward to utter something to her gelding. Drum flicked his ears backwards and forwards in agreement and began travelling at a brisk trot. Ranae held the reins tightly in her hands, willing herself to not let anymore tears fall.

Going off into the forest, Matsu saw a blind girl, apparently hurt. She had been running... which shouldn't be, but it was her choice, going down beside her Matsu stopped. "Excuse me, are you alright?" he asked with concern.

Rayne kept searching for his two companions without stopping. He leapt from tree to tree trying to find them as he thought to himself for moment when he was leaping Hmm....lets see...they shouldn't be far from here...I suppose they must be near a river... As he landed on a tree branch to observe where the river is, he looked around seeing that no one was nearby so far . Rayne stood there on the tree branch to observe if his companions were coming back.

Ranae jerd at the reins and her horse stopped abrubtly, making a grunt of displeasure at the rough treatment. Ranae frowned, listening intently. The voice was not one that she recognised, and she heard no humans in the area. She only heard the wind in the trees and..a rustling of feathers? Had a bird just spoken to her?

" Who are you?" She asked cautiously.

Rayne stood there silently in the shadows seeing that he have spotted two figures down below and decided to observe. Hmm...interesting I've believe that I've not met the other figure....before...no matter... He thought to himself as he kept observing seeing that they were having a small conversation.

Upon reaching the red light, Yukimura found his underground smithing area. Men ran back and forth, carrying sheets of metal and tools. He walked past them, going to a large man who seemed to be in charge of the operation.

"Yukimura! Where have you been! We finally finished building those weapons you requested, but the other weapon is taking a little longer than expected. If you want, we can show you a demonstration of the weapons you've had us smith. We've been waiting to show you this."

Yukimura smiled to himself a little. "Go ahead."

The raven flew down, it wasn't itself, it was being controlled by another. "Greetings I am Matsu, this is a vessel I am using for awhile" the Raven spoke. Taking a step out of the trees, a fox-demon with green hair walked and sat down near the Raven. As the fox-demon closed his hand, the Raven stopped talking and went on his shoulder. "I am the real Matsu, and I want to know if you are alright." he said calmly, stroking the raven with one finger.

" Im perfectly alright.."

This was far fro the truth, she was indeed hurting, but not from any phyical injury. True, her face, lower legs, and hands musk be pretty scratched up due to the foolish sprint she had done through the woods when Josh ran from her. She pushed that thought into the back of her mind. She wasnt about to speak of her troubles to some demon.

Matsu read her features, she wasn't alright, but obviously didn't want to discuss that. "Well, if you need any help, I'm more than willing to" he said calmly.

Rayne slightly crouches down to get a better view of the person, but without moving an inch from the shadows. Hmm...a fox demon...very interesting...but what would a fox demon doing out here in the forest...no matter.... He thought to himself as he stood up once more on the tree branch and keeping himself balanced. As he started to stand once more on the tree branch, he leapt quickly to another with swift speed landing silently on the next tree branch and started to look around to see if anyone was near the area.

Yukimura followed the large man as he led him to a long shooting range. "Here we go! AT YOUR POSITIONS!" he shouted to the gunners who were getting in place. Each of them held a weapon that was very familiar to Yukimura. They were all identical copies of Harper's old gun, the Goraishinki.

"Release the targets!" the man shouted. A large gate at the end of the range was opened, and a group of demons appeared on the other side. "We borrowed these guys from the Netherworld. Criminals and convicts who were sentanced to death. We've been experimenting on them and using them for target practice." Yukimura counted in his head.

"Sixty-two," he replied out loud, the man turned around and looked at him and laughed. "How did you know?" he asked him in a jovial tone.

"It's simple. I counted the number of arms and legs and divided by four." Yukimura smiled at his own joke and leaned on one leg, watching the show. The group of demons rushed out suddenly, going right for the group of gunners. Yukimura counted 30 guns, yet 62 demons were rushing them.

"I'd hate to impose captain, but your gunners will get ripped to shreds. It's goign to take at least 150 bullets to stop them, and that's exactly how many you have. You know it's going to take more than that though."

"Just watch Yukimura," the captain said with a sly smile. "First round, fire!" he shouted as ten of the guns went off, firing 50 needle bullets before having to clean and reload. The men knelt down while they reloaded, a second group of ten standing behind them.

"Second round, fire!" the captain yelled again as the second round fired 50 more bullets. These hit just as the group of demons were recovering from the first salvo. The demons lurched again, not having moved since the first round was fired. The second group of ten then knelt to clean their guns, just as the first group was beginning to reload.

"Third round, fire!" Another group of 50 bullets was fired, stunning the demons once again. By the time the third round had finished and knelt to clean and reload, the first group had finished reloading and stood up to fire.

"Again!" the captain yelled, ordering the first group to fire for a second time. Yukimura laughed in awe for a second.

"Genius captain, sheer genius! One group fires while another reloads and another cleans. Continuous fire is acheived, the enemy cannot even move! Brilliant, I love it!" he said, clapping his hands. The demons were dead after another salvo, hardly having moved from their position when the first round had been fired.

Ranae stared in the direction of the mans voice. It was very rare that a demon would be so kind to a complete stranger. Judging by his voice she guessed he wasnt very old for a demon. After a moment more of regarding him, a small smile graced her lips.

" And where are you headed, stranger?"

Matsu paused for a moment. "Well, to be honest, I'm no longer sure." he sighed as he said this. "My daughter will be disappointed with me, I'm afraid, wasting my time in Korea." he said calmly. "Ah, but I'm sure she will understand."
