Hikari looked back down at the menu, unsure. She picked up the printed paper, pointing to a random line there to pick something to eat. Whatever that was, Hikari would be getting it now.

Hiei moved a little and nodded as the guy who left to get their order. Coming back with a drink for Hikari and Hiei's beer he shifted a little shooting it back and slammed it on the table. " Let's get this job done fast so we can leave." Hiei said finally as he laid his head on the table. " How was school?" Hiei asked.

Hikari raised her eyebrows, seeing how quickly Hiei shot back his beer. "Stupid." She finally answered. "They made me hold a bucket of water in the hallway." Hikari muttered, a little annoyed at what the teachers made her do today. "...We have to stay for at least a few more days. I do, at least. Mukuro said she wanted me to practice actually doing under cover work. And I met the targets son today."

Hiei moved a little and leaned over the counter a bit and rubbed his head a little. He'd been acting a bit off for a few days. But it was probably just stress. " Alright, Guess we wait a few days then." Hiei said with a sigh. " Keeps me off bigger jobs at least right now." Hiei mumbled under his breath and took another sip of his beer waiting for his food.

"...Are you sick?" Hikari decided to ask. She'd noticed that Hiei wasn't acting like his usual self since they'd last been at Kurama's before coming to China.

Hiei moved when the food came out and he shifted a little. " Eat your food." Hiei said moving to pick up chopsticks and started to eat, Ignoring Hikari's question, Because he wasn't sure really himself. He figured he was just acting off because of the lack of food, Sleep and all his wounds. He didn't think he was sick because when he was sick it hit hard and fast leaving him in bed rest. But it wasn't happening so it couldn't of been that.

Hikari gave Hiei a dull look when the food came. "Never mind. You're PMSing." She looked down at the bowl of noodles that she ordered. There were some things in there that Hikari had never even seen before, which was a little worrying. Even still, the girl didn't say a word about it and started to eat.

Hiei moved a bit as he kept eating and glanced at the girl before messing up her hair. " You such a pain. I just saved you from the house of horny teens and all you do is beat up on me." Hiei said dully and moved putting his hand up a bit. " Can I have a water" Hiei asked looking up at the waiter who nodded and left at this point. " Finish your food, Then we need stop somewhere before heading back to that house." Hiei said with a sigh. " I have to pick up my winnings."

Hikari's shoulder hunched up when Hiei ruffled her hair. She glared at Hiei slightly before looking down and starting to eat her noodles. "I don't wanna go back there. Mei's probably gonna stay all night." And that right there pissed off Hikari. She really didn't like Jing's friend. "...Winnings?" Hikari's eyes started to look at Hiei with that dull look again as the girl fixed her ponytail. "Mission my a**."

"Will stay at Master Fangs tonight then. Kind old man. Nicer then Genkai none the less." Hiei said and shifted a little with a yawn before looking back at Hikari and blinked a bit. " When I went to get your root, I got dragged into a circle battle then went and did a mission." Hiei said with a chuckle.

"Yeah. Dragged. Sure." Hikari had a feeling that was BS since Hiei was chuckling about it. She tapped the side of her bowl a few times, thinking. "'Kay."

Hiei moved a little and he finished his food and sipped his water slowly. He moved again with a yawn and shook his head a bit before looking off to the side. " Once you're done will go." Hiei said.

"Idiot. I have no sympathy for your wounds now." Hikari stated before finishing off her noodles. The girl took a few more sips of her water before standing up, pulling some money out of her pocket and setting it down on the table to pay for the food.

"What's this, I don't have to pay for once?" Hiei asked shaking his head as he got up and left the small tip before walking out with Hikari to and started to walk. Pain killer kicked in finally.

"You can buy me a jug of ice cream later." Hikari stated after Hiei made his comment about not having to pay. She shoved her hands into her pockets, starting to walk with Hiei since he needed to lead the way to get to Master Fang's.
