They kept on moving quickly until they reached a town. "Let's stop here. You can rest and I can ask for directions."

"I dont need rest." Amaya muttered but fell forward and blacked out. She was still very drained.

He gently picked her up and set her under a tree. He made to copies of himself to guard her just in case and went into town.

After about 15 minutes of asking around, he'd finally gotten some info from an old lady. She had told him to go North for two or three more days. The town he was looking for was surrounded by mountains. "Thank you very much ma'am." The old lady nodded, smiled, then left. Toku decided to start walking back to Amaya.

Amaya woke up and saw clones of Toku. She sighed and rubbed her head. She was going to black out alot. She remembered back when she was working for master, she would black out all the time. She felt so useless when that happened.

Toku had finally gotten out of the town and had made it back to where Amaya was. The clones dispersed and Toku sat down next to Amaya. He pulled out a sandwhich and motioned it to Amaya. "I bought this for you while I was in town."

" Thank you." Amaya whispered. She took it and took a small bite. She let out a small sigh.

He looked up into the tree. "An old lady told me the town were looking for is about 2-3 days North from here and it's surrounded by mountains." He heard the sigh. "Are you alright? Do you need anything?"

"No im fine." She whispered. She stood up and looked up at the night sky. She could feel the cold ring press against her chest. Her brithday was in two months. And she was suppose to be marrying Luke. But now that master was dead, did that mean that was was no longer engaged to him? Because it was because of her master that she was.

"Alright then." He looked up at the night sky also and just... thought. He thought about the future... of the past.. of the present. "Heh. I suppose I was kind of foolish to think she and I would pick up again suddenly and magically. These things take time..."

Amaya gripped her chest all of the sudden and started to cough up some more blood. Oh great. This whole trip was going to be her coughing up blood and she was going to be useless. Toku was going to have to basicaly protect her the whole time. Shew winced as she coughed up some more blood.

Toku quickly put his hands on her shoulders. "Amaya.. hang on. I promise we'll get there quicker if we..." He stopped a moment and walked out a bit in front of her. He pulled his arms in and then when he flung them out, two black dragon wings came out. "... fly." He then turned to her. He had a face of worry showing to her.

"Toku im to heavy for you to carry." She breathed as she coughed up more blood. She felt so much weaker. She was so pathetic right now. "Im so useless." She muttered as she swayed and fell forward into Toku. "I cant even seem to stand anymore. I feel as though my strength is leaving me." She whispered and covered her mouth so she didnt cough blood on him.

"No you're not. You're nowhere near heavy and you are not useless." He picked her up, one arm under her back, one under her legs. "Let's fly." He flapped his wings to get off the ground then started flapping to ascend and speed up.

"Im jealous. You can fly." She whispered and wraped her arms around his neck to make sure she didnt fall. She closed her eyes and placed her head against his chest. She could hear his heart beating softly.

"I'll admit, it's fun to be able to spread my wings again. But I'm sure you'll be able to fly some day too." He then smiled warmly.
