"You have such a wonderful way of making everything seem cheerful..." he said in a mock exasperated voice. He rested a hand on the hilt of his flamberge and too his first step into the forest of death, hoping the warriors were up to there reputation.

Aiden took out one of his katanas in his off hand. He made it look like two things. First, it looked like he was left handed, though he isn't. Second, he made it look like that's the only weapon he has. The other three took out their weapons, too. One had a spear, one with a bow and a large quiver, the last with special equipment for his hand-to-hand, the most visible being the spiked gauntlets and deadly grieves. The all followed Kerrigan into the forest.

Kerrigan was beginning to wonder why they let him go first, besides the fact he went first, when he saw something pop up a few feet in front of him and to the side. It looked like a plant, but it had elongated spikes all down its stem and they seemed to pusle into...its mouth?! He pulled back and Kerrigan knew what it was going to do, and it was a good thing he was fully armored in his country's finest made armor. It shot three large spikes at him and he put his arms in front of his face and kneck. One hit his abdomen, the other hit his left breastplate and the last one hit his gauntlet where his neck was. All of them would've led to death...and he gained a higher respect for this place. He ran forward, before it could 'load' more spikes into its mouth and dashed past it, pulling his sword out in one fluid motion. He slid to a stop and re-sheathed his weapon and turned to the rest, giving them a thumbs up...and then the plant fell in half. "Come on guys, this place ain't so bad"

Unknowing to them Katsu had already gotten his new henchman from Illian and was headed for Halen. He had already passed the forest of death that night, the signs of scorch marks going through it two times was enough proof. He was now nearing Halen, he knew that this time he shouldn't go and find Yuri, let her come here. She was bound to come back to her home town to grieve for her lost loved ones. His henchmen would just be guards or spies if ever need be,like other men he had hired in the guild in Kelvar, thankfully he got word that Aiden had hired two of them.
Yuri was now in a sweet and simple home, under the care of an old couple who were too happy to take her in, they said they liked the company and could use Yuri's help around the house. Of course Yuri was all to happy to help as much as she could around the house. Though she did her work with a slight sad note, she didn't know why but she wished Aiden hadn't left so hastily, in truth she missed him, and didn't even know why. So for the rest of the day she worked for most of the day to get her mind off of everything that had gone on in her life so far.

"Kerrigan, this is but the start of the forest. The creatures and puzzles get stronger the deeper you go. As we approach the center, there will be a thick mist. That mist holds the strongest of all creatures that our people know of. But, these creatures feed on the mist, so they cannot leave it, which is why you only find them in the mist." Aiden said, getting closer to Kerrigan. The other three warriors seemed shocked to see what the forest could offer just at the edge alone and traveled closer to Kerrigan and Aiden. As they traveled about a quarter mile, Aiden started to sense something amise about this forest, as if someone had already blazed through it twice. But he couldn't find any burns on this specific path, so it was just a hunch to him.

"Oh come on...Think a little forest can't beat us?" He said with a smirk as he let his hand rest on his sword, getting the sense that a fire-blazer had come through the forest...but the feeling was vague. Not many people knew that Kerrigan was a Fire-Blazer as well...also he had a rare ability to absorb any steel he comes into contact with. "Well, lets keep going then" He said cheerily, as if nothing was out of the ordinary or life-threatening. His demeanor has confounded many people, and for some unknown reason scared others. They found his lack of fear frightening.

(So...Cal...you're using your exact character design for your real Caldoren it seems. Just a different name, and maybe a different appearance, but overall the exact same.)) "If you stay arrogant like that it may very well beat us. An overly large ego is this forest's best friend. Makes it easier to kill those who think they can take it without a sweat." Aiden didn't really care about his own advice he was giving to Kerrigan. With his knowlege of this forest and the combined power of Kerrigan and himself, with the slight help of the other three, was more than enough in his eyes.

((Couldn't think of anything else...it's a good build though, so you can't complain))
"Then you've already lost Aiden...misinterpreting your enemy is a bad thing to do" Despite the seriousness of his words, he was still light-hearted and cheery. Walking through the forest as if he would walk down the street. "Reminds me of a saying I used to hear...'Measure twice and cut once'" he looked back at aiden for a second and winked before turning back ahead of him.

"That itself is true. But if you haven't the time to measure even once, then it is better to overestimate your opponent than to underestimate. By overestimating, you expect more, even if your opponent can not do it. But by underestimating, your body automatically holds back and you won't be expecting what your opponent is going to do. In times of doubt, the best offense is a good defense. Wait for opponent to mess up, then use their own power against them." This here is one of the things that Aiden and Kerrigan had in common. Even though they speak in such a manner, deep and serious, they still have a calmness and a slight disregard of their own words. They know their own strength, as well as the strength of the other, and they both seem to know exactly what they can and cannot do. "But, regardless of the situation, you must always retain your honor and respect the code of chivalry."

"Oh of course...society dictates...But, we have a bigger problem at hand...we're at the mist. "He looekd back with a smile. "Nothing to much, just letting you know" He looked forward, seeing what seemed like shadows oscillating through the mist. Smiling even wider he loosened his sword and took the first step into the mist.

"Kerrigan, promise me two things before we enter. First, don't kill off too many creatures in here. Second, don't die." Aiden took his place in front as he said these words. The three warriors following quickly. Two of these warriors carefully noting everything about all of their companions. As soon as the entered the mist, burns in the trees and earth became highly evident. Screeches and howls filled the ears while they did not while outside this evil mist. The creatures that both heaven and hell shunned confined to this very location of this very forest.

Kerrigan grinned yet again. "Now what makes you think I was going to let them kill me? Also, I've gotten alot stronger since our last meeting. Oh, about the not killing many, I won't promise anything to that extent..but I will say I'll try not to" Out of the corner of his eyes he noticed the two making mental notes about the rest and his eyes narrowed. He took his place up front next to Aiden. "Aiden...," he whispered so only he could hear,"you need to be careful of those two...they're giving me a bad feeling"

"There is a slim possibility that they are spies of some sort. There's always that possibility." Aiden whispered back. "So it would be wise for the both of us to make sure that, if they are spies, to make sure that their information on us is highly inaccurate. You always have to be careful when you live in one of the most powerful areas in this continent." Aiden gripped the sword in his off-hand and proceded into the mist.

Kerrigan let another smile play across his perfect face. I'll give them some information that's for sure he grabbed his sword and pulled it out, holding it in both hands as if it was slightly too heavy for him and followed Aiden into the mist. "Come on fellas, you're gonna miss all the fun" he called back to the people behind him. "So Aiden...some broad able to break into that shell of yours yet?"

"You know you're the only person outside the castle walls that's close to me, Kerrigan. It'll be too much of a hassle if anyone else finds out I'm a prince." He drew one of his two blades and held it in his off hand, acting as though it was his stronger one.
