"My what? Ears?" She said, sitting up straight and grabbing ahold of her ears, pulling them down, "These things?" She closed her eyes and laughed loudly, her laughter running off and echoing away, "Why, haven't you ever seen an elf before? By the looks of you I'd say you haven't..." She let go of her ears, letting them bounce out into their lopsided position as she moved them slightly, "Well, my ears are larger than most, I do suppose, considering what kind of elf I am. I'm able to hear quite well with them, actually." She smiled, chuckling slightly to herself at the young man's bedazzled state.

Talon stared at Aideki in disbelief. She was a creature from the legends. Never before had Talon encountered any mythical creature in his life. This was truly a blessing... "You are an elf... a creature of legends and myth... it is an honor to meet you..." Talon stopped when he realized he was gushing. A blush crept into his face as he looked down at his feet... "Sorry... I must sound so silly..."

*Hikari pops into existence on the soft billowy grass near the lake. Hikari sees Aideki there and goes over to her. There is also a strange man wearing what look like frontier clothes.*
Hi Aideki! Who's your friend? Been a while since I've seen ya, I've been travelin' around everywhere lately but I'm ready for more down time now. I got some spicy beef stew here if you and your friend are interested
*Hikari begins to turn around when a strong wind blows by unexpectedly. She wasn't paying attention and her tail blew into her face. Fortunately, the stew had a lid on it and nothing fell in, but she became very embarassed and quickly sat down on the grass and tried to pretend to be invisible.*

Her head cocked to the side in confusion at his comment, not quite what to say. However, seeing him blush so made her smile and almost laugh. Then Hikari suddenly appeared and Aideki looked over at her, nodding a hello. "No thanks.." she said, declining the stew. She thought it was probably wonderful stew, but she had never been a fan of such food and had had her share of it in her long-drawn wanderings.

When the girl with the fox tail appeared from no where, Talon was stunned... these grounds held many creatures from the legends Talon had heard while he was a child. His jaw fell open and he tried to speak yet no words came it... this was going to be a bit akward for Talon...

Aideki shook her head with an amused smile creased faintly across her lips at Talon's expression. It baffled her that he was so surprized by the diverse mergence of races found in the Pagoda, that among all his wanderings he hadn't ever seen such characters. Getting up from the ground she stretched, rubbing her crimson-hued eyes. She was a bit tired, though not necessarily sleepy. She thought that perhaps she should get back to her work in the library... "Take it easy, my friend..." she said, to Talon, giving him a wink, then started towards the Pagoda, "I'll see ya around Hikari," she said to the girl, nodding with a faint smile, then left the lake vicinity.

She turned to the young man, who by now looked like he was about to faint* You want some?

Talon continued to stare at Hikari, still unable to get his voice to work. After a few moments, Talon cleared his throat and looked back at Hikari and the stew she carried. With a slight blush on his face, Talon nodded his head, "Thank you for your offer Miss. You are very kind..." He sat there for a moment longer before he looked back at Hikari... "Forgive my ignorence Miss, I mean no disrespect... but... what... exactly... are you?" Embarressment was evident upon Talon's face as he asked his question... it seemed that his stay within the Pagoda was going to be an interesting one... This placed housed many creatures and beings that Talon had yet to see or hope to have seen in his lifetime...

The figure approached the lake, sitting on its banks beneath a rather large tree. Making sure their hood was still securely covering their face, the person stared off across the lake, a slight smile of content passing across their features. Feeling quite relaxed, the stranger took out a flute and played a sweet melody was slightly tinged with sadness, yet flowed through the surroundings, enhancing the peacefulness of the area.

Tochi recognised the melody and ran to the lake in such a hurry that he forgot to teleport. He slid to a stop when he got to the cloaked figure and realised his hopes were in vain. She wasn't coming back. Even if she did, he would mean nothing to her. He sighed and turned to walk away. Still... He turned around again. He might as well make new friends. "That's a beutiful song, where did you learn it?"

Takara looked at the person, her face still hidden. Her voice was soft and almost regretful.
"To tell you the truth, I don't remember. I just woke up one day and found that I knew it. Could you please tell me, what is this place?"

Tochi walked a little closer. "THis is the Wanderer's Pagada. It is a place to rest your tired feet, and heal your weary soul." He sighed at this last part. "My name is Tochi Yamoto, What is yours?

Takara politely nodded and thought for a moment before replying.
"I'm known by many names, one of which is Nightwind. You may call me Kara. Perhaps some day you'll learn my real name..."
She had never spoken so much to anyone, and though she probably wouldn't admit it, it was nice to have someone to talk to after so long. She had spent the last couple months wandering, rarely meeting with people.
"This seems like a very nice place, yet you sound a bit melancholy..."

"I..." How would he explain that he finaly found love and it was stripped away from him? "I lost some one dear to me recently. But I don't want to bother you about it." But he dit want it. he wanted to tell someone, anyone, everyone how his life stripped away like sweaty clothes. yet the odor remained. He was the only one that remembered! No one else cared. He hadn't even seen Moonbeam in the time since.

Takara's unseeing eyes continued to stare off across the lake. This Tochi's voice sounded so familiar, yet she couldn't remember where she'd heard it before.
"You wouldn't be bothering me at all, besides, you'll feel better once its off your chest."
