"It has to be a small one. We're not stronge or big enough to go after the adults yet." he said and looked over his shoulder to see elli. 'She must of got hungry' he thought and looked in the direction that rackna was looking and saw the young zebra. "Thats theres. We must fine a other one." he said as he cralwed((sp?)) away from that one and closer to the herd.
When he got close enough he saw a baby zebra jumping around like crazy. "Lets go after that one. It looks easy." he said and crouched down again. "You can make the first move"

Elli didn't hesitate, and glanced up at Rackna and smirked playfully.
"Aww come on old timer! I'm not gonna let you have all the fun! Tell me what you want me to do!"
She crouched at his side and eyed the young zebra they had picked out. She had never hunted something so big, but she was eager to try. She paused and reminded herself to follow his lead, but an excited shiver ran over her and her tail slashed about in anticipation.
Please Note, My Cubs do not know each other, I am merely posting for both of them in the same area.....
Kall watched the larger red male and a small green female cub slink toward a small zebra and noded in agreement with Sonic's words. It wouldn't be right to steal one from beneath their noses. He glanced at the capering young foal and grinned, nodded in agreement again. "This one will do just fine. You want to mirror me so no matter which way he goes we'll catch him?"
He glanced to the left and nodded. "Right, I'll try to slink at his back, you can spook him toward me and I'll catch him... Ok? That way if he swerves away from me, you can catch him..."
He crouched low and slunk forward. "Let's go."

"Ok." said sonic and walked slowly closer to the zebra, looking around his self to make sure no other zebra sees him.
When he gets close enough to the zebra's tail he jumps up and runs to the front of it and roars. The zebra turns around and runs in zalls direction but it makes a u-turns when it gets close. When sonic sees that it is comeing back at him he roars again and claws at it. The zebra gets up on its back legs and starts to kick at him but sonic just stays there clawing at it waiting for kall to make his move.

Kall approached, swift and silent, and leapt onto the young zebra as he had seen other lions.
His sharp teeth sank into the young animals neck and it began to fall, flailing as it did so. Kall gripped tighter and hoped the zebra wouldn't land on Sonic.
When it was down, Kall released his prey and glanced at his partner, smiling. Most of the herd didn't even seem to notice their kill, though they had perked up at Sonic's roar and milled a little.
"Nice job Sonic! We got him!" Kell grinned.

Sonic looks at kall take down the zebra. He walks up to him then looks at the other lions that are not to far from him. "We killed it!" said sonic and jumped around "That was fun." he said and began to eat some of the zebra

Kell nodded and smiled, eating some of the zebra... He chewed, swallowed and smiled. "Yeah, but next time, YOU can get the hard part and I'll play decoy... You got to have all the fun with the macho roaring anyway....."
Kall grinned. "I think that green cub was watching us, she looked impressed..."

He listen to what kall had to say how he sould be the one to kill the next one. "The green cub?" it took sonic a while to click on in "Ohh you mean elli. Shes a loner. Well at least thats what it looks like. The funny thing is that most of the lions and lioness here are loners." he said and took a other bite of the zebra. "It is very hard to impress her so I guess we must of did it like experts." he said and sat down and look in elli's direction.

Kall's head whipped around. "Elli huh? Not easy to impress??"
Kall stretched lazily and smirked.
"Killing a zebra is no big deal to experts like us."
He smiled. "Why is she a loner I wonder? Come to think of it, there doesn't seem to be much of a Pride formed here, so I guess this just a colony of loners... That's cool...."
He took another bite and noticed Elli was waving a paw at Sonic.
"Looks like she's waving at ya mate..." Kall said with a smirk and another bit of zebra.

"Quit flirting. We have a job to do."
He cuffed her playfully behind her ear, chuckling. He soon turned serious again though, and zeroed in on his prey.
"Ready?"
He asked Elli as he felt the usual adrenaline (Spelling?) rush that always came before he hunted. His muscled tensed, and he dropped into a crouch. his tail waved back and forth quickly, tail feathers golden blurs.

Elli suppressed a growl and glanced at Rackna with a superior look on her face. "Jealous Rackna?"
She crouched beside him.
"Besides, I was not flirting, I was just saying well done... They did good in my opinion..." She murmured quietly, glancing at the young cub who had helped Sonic bring down the zebra... She glanced at the curious marks on his face and smiled to herself... "They did do good."

Rackna rolled his eyes.
"Yes, I'm insanely jealous of two cubs who got you to wave at them."
He said sarcastically, looking at her.
"They did do good, I never said they didn't. Don't twist my words."
He told her. Suddenly, he pounced foreward, out of hiding, his red fur catching the hot desert sun. He was upon the zebra before it had noticed him, and his claws were dug deep into the zebra's back. his nose was wrinkled, exposing long,sharp teeth, which were about to bite into it's precious jugular vein.

Elli tore after Rackna, fixing her teeth in the meat of a hind leg that had been flailing behind the already dying zebra. She clung to the animal as it hopped and leapt about, and hoped that Rackna would kill it quickly.
((Have to go for an hour or so... Be back asap))

Gracefully, Rackna's teeth found thier way to the bottom of the zebra's neck, where they sunk in, breaking the jugular and killing it in a matter of seconds. His eyes gleamed brightly as he lept off the fallen zebra, and a contented purr escaped him.
('kay, I probably won't be on then, just to let you know.
And I think zebras DO have jugulars... horses do... If they don't I'm sorry sweatdrop )

Sonic waves back and watches them take down the zebra. He then looks back at there zebra. He took a other bite then got up "Come on. I want you to meet elli." he said and walked in there direction.

Einna Firekeeper Sebastian smirked, "Alright., I'll go first." He stalked up to a small herd of gazelle and tried to keep his belly as low to the ground as he could. He hadn't hunted for himself in a while since he preffered to steal food, but it couldn't be too hard. As he got closer to the herd he slowed down and eventually stopped. Readying his muscles for the leap he sprang up and out of the grass and sprinted towards the herd and tried to single off the slow runners in the back.
His eye was caught by a young female who wasn't as quick as her herd and he veered towards her. He lunged but fell short. He went tumbling through the grass but got to his feet immediately and took off after her again. Well that was embarrasing. He thought to himself as he made another lunge and this time connected. He landed on her back and sank his teeth into her neck. Finally finding the jugular he bit down hard and the gazelle finally fell. He was exhausted and rolled off his kill. Well it wasn't a great try but atleast he got one. Yeah on the second try. He scolded himself mentally.
