Sasori answers that a man had taken Angel and that they had rescued her and run into the woods to escape him. She says nothing of the coin and why the man had kidnapped Angel.
Sasori introduces her companions to the man.

"I am Tarik of Oceania. I and my friends were hunting and we saw a strange animal and chased it here."
The rest of Tarik's group ride back. They lost their quarry. Tarik gets off of his horse and tells them to to take it and go on without him, they ride off.
"Can I escort you ladies back to town?"
Tarik explains to the ladies that he is the youngest of 7 sons of a king in a nearby area called Oceania. But as the last son, he has no chance of being king so he just goes off on adventures on his own. He is just a regular guy though so they should not think of him as royalty, just a new friend.

Natilie figured they could stay with him to the forest then go their different paths. On the walk back Natilie asked him
"What kind of creature do you think that was?"

"It was kind of silvery so maybe a white dragon or a unicorn perhaps. I hear if you befriend one they share their magical powers."

Angel was at first very scared of Tarik since she was just a peasant girl and hew as royalty. However, as they walked, he was so nice and funny that she soon forgot his status.
"Wow wouldn't it be great to see a real white dragon or unicorn!"

"We saw a black dragon the other night and one in the market. There seems to be a lot of dragons around here. I've seen so many interesting things in this town."
The group reaches the end of the forest.

"Thank you ladies for the great company. I have rented the house over there." Tarik points to a house on a small hill above the tavern inn.

Sasori, Natilie and Angel part with Tarik and walk to the inn. "He was nice."
They reach the inn and sit at a table in a secluded corner so that they can talk in private.

Tarik goes up to his house. He cannot get the girls out of his head. He meets his friends and they go into town to eat.

"I think Tarik was nice. I'd like to go back and see if that silvery thing was really a white dragon or a unicorn sometime but I think we need to concentrate on the coin first." Jade takes the coin out and stares at it some more but the coin is still a mystery.
"The man with the scar said that his boss was a masked man. Now how are we going to find out who that is? Should we go back to the market in the morning and look for the cloaked man that gave me the coin?"

Tarik and his friends decide to go to the next town for dinner. They find a pub with a card room in the back. After their meal, Tarik and his friends join a game of cards. They play for a while then a man with a dark cape and white scarf sits down to join them. His face is partially covered by a metal mask and he has a heavy accent. His men sit at another table and just watch as they play. Tarik and his friends are uneasy about this new card player.
The stranger says his name is General Schatten. Although Tarik is quite tall, he seems small sitting next to the general. As they play cards a man with a scar comes in and whispers to one of the general's men who gets angry. Two other men at the table drag the man outside. There is a muffled noise of scuffling then nothing. Tarik and his friends look at each other but don't dare get up to see what happened. The two men return a few minutes later, one is cleaning his sword.
Tarik and his friends play another hand then pretend that they need to be up early in the morning and quickly leave the pub. Two of Tarik's friends need to leave to do other business and go off on their own. The other two ride back to the house with Tarik.

"We need to find the person that gave you the coin and figure out why he gave it to you. Maybe he wanted to get rid of the coin so whoever this "White Shadow" person is would leave him alone."
