Heya! :3
You can call me Arrell, or Kassie, whichever you prefer.
I'm a freshman and I've been playing flute for about 5 years now.
My section leader is -supposed- to be teaching me piccolo xP
Unfortunately, all the regular flutes but me who march, will all be gone next year.
We don't actually have a chair system set up yet. xD So it's just going by seniority.
But yeah, I suppose that's about it. :] Yay flute! heart

I love music ( who doesnt??)
i'm from Malaysia btw..
i've played flute for 4 years and piccolo for 1 year...(i play oboe too~)
Oboe was my major. ( 6 years noww)
But now i'm concentrating more on flute.
so now Flute's my major >.<
i play for my school orchestra and marching band, and also for Malaysia's
Nasional Youth Symphonic Orchestra. My favourite piece for flute has got to be "Mozart's Sonata In C" for flute and piano.
my fav orchetra pieces are Bizet's L'arlesienne suite 1 and 2

Hello!
My name is Carrie. I'm a freshie marcher this year (marching band is over already, sadly ;3; ). And I'm the only flute out of our section of four. DX It's sad, I know. The high school has thirteen flutes. D:< Ick.
I own an intermediate Gemeinhardt flute affectionately named Kyle. And hopefully getting a piccolo of my own this Christmas. Yay, no more icky school piccolo!~ Any suggestions for a good brand and type? O:<
I hope to be annoyingly fun and crazy like most of you probably are. C:

I've been in this guild for a while, but I haven't introduced myself... I guess? Heh heh. Anyway. I'm Josh. I've played the flute for 8 years, piccolo for 5. I'm a senior in high school, and section leader of 23 flutes in a section in marching band (220 member band). I'm in the top band, second chair only to an amazing person who's been playing the flute for 10 years, and eats, sleeps, and breathes flute. I've gotten my experience on my own, only with the occasional flute teacher (for one or two weeks at a time... and they never taught me anything). But yeah... that's about it.

I'm WinryRockbell56 anf i've played flute for 6 years. I've been in high school concert band for 2 years and i love marching season because the flutes sre very random!

Hullo. My name is Fye and I have been playing flute for eight years. I was first chair for a while, but after mastering Korsakov's little "Bumblebee" piece, I got bored of the flute's simplicity and made my main instruments the piano and violin. I just recently decided to do a triple major including the flute. Why waste the effort put in, right? Anyway, my band has gone to FACCS and received the national title(that's 1st, btw) and has received a state title in FBA.

Hey, I'm Kelsey ^^ I've been playing flute for 9 years, I'm 17 years old and about to be a performance major. I don't know where I'm going yet, I don't even know if I got past the first round haha. I am also in two youth symphonies (one I'm principal, the other I'm second). Anyways, I also play piano, picc, clarinet and some guitar. Music is teh shiz (lol).

My name's Jenn, I've been playing the flute for 7 years now and I'm 15. I'm really hoping to go into musical performance [I would absolutely love to do some orchestra work as a career!] and I also play the alto sax [second not as good instrument]. Basically, my flute's my lifeline aaaand yeah, that's me!

Hey, I'm Rebecca, I am 13, and have played the flute for 4 years. I am in the 8th grade. I am currently 4th chair out of 25 flutes in my M.S. band(100 people all together). I am also learning to play the piano but that is going very slowly since I am self-teaching. I always wanted to play the flute.(since age 5) I played the Viola for 1 year and then I switched. I don't play piccolo, or any other flute.(I want to) I'm going to try and continue the flute even after I'm out of school, though I probably won't be a musician for my ocupation

Hi. I'm cuzwhit...u can call me Mariah or Mari...I've played flute for 3 1/2-4 years...I played Clarinet before that for 3 1/2 years...I like flut better! ^-^ I love to play Ovature for Winds on the flute--it's fun! ^-^ biggrin

I'm Violet, I am 14, and have played the flute for 4 years. I am in the 8th grade and 2nd chair of 25 flutes. I only play a regular concert flute.(I want to try piccolo but it isn't likely)

Well, I've been playing since I was in 5th grade, so that makes... *counts on fingers* 5 1/2 years! (Even though I wasn't in band my freshman year.)
Umm... I am currently 2nd flute, 3rd chair. The other flutes don't really like me. *shrug* I don't really like them either, but whatever.
The music we play is pretty cool. It's hard as Hell (if that makes any sense confused ), but I like most of it.
I'm interested in playing piccolo, but I'm not allowed if I have to buy my own. sad

Hi there, call me Luna. I've been playing flute for a little more than year so far, so I'm not really that good. I'm in seventh grade band as an elective at school, and there are four other flute players. But anyway, I'm hoping to eventually be able to play piccolo. So nice to meet everyone!
