fenris followed the man, sticking to the ceiling to hide until he picked the perfect time to strike. his wings served as balance as he crept along the ceiling, feeling the priest's aura and listening intently to his heart beat. ''he's...different, yes, but not very strong.'' fenris made his notes, spread his wings, and dissapeared into the shadows. the priest seemed distracted, not a time to attack as far as fenris was concerned. he wanted the priest to sense him, so he made an experiment to see if he could. fenris unleashed parts of his aura, directing it at the man.

playing the sleep card didn't work for rin this half. the first one to invade her room stood at the center while two others entered from behind. one grabbed rin up by her hair and throwing her against the wall so she may sit, the other holding her in place. each touch pained her to no end or mercy as the first man stepped forward. he brought out from his long black coat two long, silver spikes. ''raise her.'' he said in a black voice. the two men did so, setting rin up on her feet upon the bed. they each took an arm and held it out. ''thank you.'' he said. with that the man threw the spikes through each one of rin's wrists. from his jacket he brought out another lovely item, a long and thick spear to match the previous spikes. this he thrusted through rin's middle before taking a step back and laughing to himself.

rin growled in pain, staring with loathing eyes to the man. ''lovely.'' he said with his dark voice. ''you won't stop will you? harboring hope within that twisted mind of yours. even now, when you're about to die, you still harber hope.'' he snickered and walked forward, grabbing the spear and ran his thumb over it, searching. ''ah...yes...here we go.'' he pressed down on an invisible button to which activated two spikes to shoot out through rin's sides, still attatched to the spear, and making it so she could not mearly retract the device from her without splitting herself near in half. ''forget hope. forget life. yours is over. it's been over for years, you know that.'' rin growled at him, her eyes as dangerous as they had ever been, seething with hate and yet they began to dim. ''you are forgotten. know that. even if you live through this you've been forgotten by those who you've let slip away. i guess you, along with those you claimed to love, were not worth remembering, hmm?'' he said, searching her eyes. ''forgotten'' he said again, implanting the word within rin's mind.

at this point the priest could feel something distinctly different. something not natural. he could feel his own aura being compressed by another... being. not sure who...or what was with him, but it was something he hasen't felt in a long time. not something he felt for decades, the desire to kill, not for survival but for enjoyment. he decided to push his aura a bit farthe and more towards the point of the where it was being pushed back.
uh...on the ceiling and wings? a demon?! sigh...right when i thought i could finally stop fighting them... he thought to himself as he detected the source.

with a quickly spin he faced his stalker and leapt backwards to the end of the hallway and simultaneously flips out 2 holy pistols from his sleeves.
CRACK!CRACK!CRACK!CRACK!
the priest sprayed his holy bullets...
oh crap...did i just do that? damn, im gonna get found this time...sigh. the preist thought to himself as he just realized that he shot his pistols in the middle of a district of which he was not even allowed to be in.

Yin soon found Mak and Hikaru. Blood was splattered on her face and oyu could tell form her stance she was trying to keep something in.
"Well boys, what now?" Her voice was strained, almost as if she was in pain. No wounds adorned her body, but she still acted like there were. Despite this, if you were to look at her, she seemed normal.

What!?!? my thoughts are being read?? damnit ill have to block this then. realizing that he was being read like a book he decide to put some of his new blessing to use.

"God of all creation, shun thy enemies secrets and and bring providence to thy mind...ETERNAL HALO!!!"

As soon as he finished his last word the halo above the priest head glowed ever so bright that it luminated the whole room and blocked all foreign force from entering his mind.
just as the light flashed he saw his opponent's true appearance...not a demon, but not entirely human. noticing that this creatures reaction speed could probably dodge poorly-aim bullets he decided to stick to his original weapon of choice...the chian and cross. he unclips the cross and chain from his waist.
"If you are not a demon, and certainly do not sound like one, what is your purpose here?" he asked the creature

Hikaru groaned in pain, using Mak as a crutch as he fought the pain from Rin. "Damn..." He muttered looking up to see his kids and another. "Maku....Miku....." He said with a smile before clenching his teeth in pain.

"DAD!" They both yelped in suprise as they frowned, Miku clentching his fists and glowing. "We have to get out of here...." He whispered to Maku who nodded. Slowly makking their way to the next floor they frowned as the smell of death was in the air footprints of blood trailed the floor.

Maku and Miku frowned but nodded, they looked at Yin. Maku opened his mouth only to be thrown through the wall by a fast punch to his gut. "Gah!" He grunnted flying through the wall as Miku pushed his parents and yin foreward. "Keep moving!" He said before pulling up a powerful shield, Maru getting caught. "Stop this MARU!" He shouted before blasting her back, he vanished back to Maku who groaned and rubbed his head. Blood was everywhere from Rin's kills. They ignorred it as the brother glarred at Maru who walked into the room with a smirk. "Hello boys..."

Mak trudged foreward and stood in shock, Hikaru doing the same. "R-rin?" Mak rasped in shock looking at her bloody form as she stood. Hikaru grimaced in pain at the sight of her eyes. "Rin....it's...it's us...It's Hika and Mak...don't you remeber us?" He whispered as he shook with pain and anger.

fenris hid from the bright halo's light by covering himself with one of his wings. ''little rat. you'd be better off with your gun, what use is a cross to one who can't be burned by it?'' fenris asked, raising a black wind about himself before advancing it to the room and dimming the halo's burdoning light. the monster made ready to strike the priest down in these howling winds, growing them to sharp, thin blades that were no thicker than wire, but were great in number and sharper than most blades. he moved them around the priest, grinning his snake grin, his black eyes set on the man.

xin smelled the burns as well, smiling to himself. as soon as they entered his nose was bombarded with the smell of death and blood, much coming from rin. ''she's near. this way.'' xin darted off, daness wrinkling her nose to the blood and death she smelled as well, and followed. soon they came to where maku and maru were, along with everyone else by them. then he saw rin. ''m...mother...'' he gasped upon her sight.

rin stood there, leaning against the wall, her fingers sliding along it as she looked at the unfamiliar faces of hika, mak, and yin. she hated them all upon first sight, digging her ice ridden and blade sharp nails into the wall with ease, digging them along as she slowly walked to them. she gripped the staff loosely, glaring at them with insane and bloody eyes. slowly she walked, her body becoming riggid with a few steps as she suddenly dissapeared, the claw marks she was making with her steps shooting across the wall with no owner to them, stopping just before hikaru's shadow. rin herself reappeared by the opposite wall, much closer to them this time, something of confusion now hiding within the mix of hate and insanity. she felt now she needed a reward from them, the same she'd gotten from those three guards. she dissapeared again and now stood an inch from yin's face, her bloody, crazed eyes looking into yin's through mangled hair. within a heart beat rin brought her hand up and slashed down at yin's face.

Yin's hand quickly flew and her pistol caught Rin's hand as she took a step back. In the same breath, she brought the gun from her other hand connecting with Rin's cheek. She put a foot to rin's stomach and pushed, sending herself backwards a little bit. She pointed her pistols at Rin and the corner of her mouth began to twitch. She knew she couldn't loose it right then.
"Allright, what do you want?" Her voice came out like leather across gravel.

fenris flew to the other side of the room, glaring at the priest. his body became hot, he amplified his winds further and breaking them free of the priest's annoying holy light. ''i suppose you could consider these the flames of hell'' fenris said, mixing flames with the winds, flames that could match hell's fury. he launched them at the man, his evil eyes watching and his ears listening to the priest's heart. ''i suppose i wouldn't mind a barbeque.'' he snickered.
