Her anger soon formed into startlement at the fact he was now apologizing for his actions and she curiously rose a brow to this perculiar man. She suppose his story did make sense and maybe he was an innocent bystander that was unfortunate enough to get pulled into this big mess but that seishi woman had said this man knew one of the Suzaku seishi. Yui was even more suprised at the fact that he didn't know who she was. Just about everybody in this country knew who she was so it was obvious that he wasn't from around here.
Come to think about it, she really had nothing against him. It was that Byakko woman that got on her bad side so it was wrong of her to take it out on this man who had yet done anything to her that was unless of course he was trying to fool her with that sincere look upon his face just like the Byakko seishi man had tried to fool her by making her believe that he was blind when he was not. Was this some sort of trick?
Yui debated in her mind the right decision to make as she studied the blue-haired man. However, if he did speak the truth about not knowing who she was or what was going on than it was best that it stayed that way. The less people that got involved the better but if she allowed him to go than this may destroy her plans. She couldn't let him leave the palace grounds until her business with Miaka was done. "If you speak the truth than it's better that you don't know my name nor what ails me. You may eat as much as you would like but I regret to inform you that despite your story, I cannot allow you to leave this palace until I have dealt with certain matters. Once those matters are taken care of, I will see to it that you are released and no harm is done upon you. You have my word on that but all I ask in return is that you don't cause any trouble and stay in the guest room the guards put you in until further notice." Yui explained to the man in a well mannered tone as her gaze didn't once waver away from his.
"However, if you choose to run than I will have no choice but to stop you." Yui spoke out with such confidence in her tone. "The choice is yours." She added in, a bit curious to how this man was going to react. The confident expression she was giving him was only a mask to cover her own uncomfortableness. She was only able to hold that confident expression on her face for so long but she was good as long as this stranger kept his distance from her. Men...how she despised them...

"Stay in a room? How boring! Damn if you aren't the most dull and depressing person I've ever met! You're very pretty and I'm sure deep down you're nice but I'm trying to have a little excitement! Digging a hole Kouji, digging a hole," he attempted to caution himself. "Look why don't just tell me who you are? I'm good to talk to, either of me!" He gave her another lopsided grin. "I'll tell you this, I don't mean any harm and I don't mean to be rude or to frighten you if I do, I'm just being me. I'm guessing you're busy but it's good to talk you know, trust me, I'm still learning that the hard way. Kouji you're not listening! DIGGING A HOLE!" He then took on a more serious tone. "We're surrounded by people in this kitchen and yet...whoever you are, you look lonely. You look like I have many times even when there's many people around me, that's how I know. I know we've just met so you don't trust me but I am trustworthy."

"Look Miss I'm not saving Yui for her or me, I don't know her, I'm doing it for my friend. Besides, I suspect my friend will be dragged here sooner or later. So there's a barrier keeping people from exiting, well it isn't going to stop me entering. Yui is important to my friend and if it'll make her happy then I'm going to get Yui." Tasuki sized up the wall and attempted to sense the barrier. With a wide, fanged grin he sprang into the air and entered the palace grounds.

"Soi, I see." 'So that explains it,' Suboshi thought to himself as he toyed with one of the balls of his weapon. "So who was she troubling apart from you? Anyone? I heard there was a trespasser and I've also heard talk of new arrivals."

[Subaru]
With a defeated sigh, the Byakko seishi simply allowed the peculiar man to leave, she couldn't stop him without force and would rather not attract attention to herself in that regard. Instead, she simply made her way into an alley and slipped down behind the crates of fish in order to regain her strengths - when that was done and she felt her strengths returning she brought the small dagger from her the strap on her leg and very calmly began to slice the long locks of hair from her head.
The silver trestles fell about her knees and when she had completed her work, the hair simply hung around her neck in a surprisingly need manner. Head bowed, she simply pulled one of the ribbons remaining on the now disowned hair and pulled the remaining hair upon her head into a tight, singular bun...
The change in appearance was startling however she hadn't finished yet and as she peeked over the crates towards the marketplace once more, her gaze stumbled upon what appeared to be another clothing stall...all she had to do was purchase some travelling robes now but where was she to go?
She couldn't yet return to Sairou considering the amount of Kutou land she would have to cover and she was unfamiliar with Konan - she really only had one choice.
"Home..." She murmured somewhat begrudingly.
[Amiboshi]
Amiboshi glanced thoughtfully at his brother's weapon before giving a light and almost wistful smile; the recollection of the foreign warrior and her calm persona were difficult to forget, particularly when she was compared to none other than Soi.
"She was toying with a Byakko seishi however the Byakko seishi simply toyed with her for her role as a concubine -" Amiboshi smiled a little more as he remembered the glint in the silver haired woman's eyes - that glint of triumph and that glint that really meant that she knew of much more and was simply playing with her opposition as though they were pawns in a chess game.
"Very beautiful creature," He murmured, his tone one of admiration - how could he forget that foreign appearance hm? "And yet very headstrong, I can see why she is such a challenge to defeat but why then send someone as submissive as Soi? The Byakko outsmarted her with unbelievable ease." Amiboshi confessed, his eyebrow raising as he remembered the brief crackling of Nakago's barrier, the obliteration of the Byakko's bubble and then her escape.
"I wonder what Nakago will say to Soi though -" He paused and thought back to his fellow warrior, although he disapproved of many of their ways he by no means wanted any of them to suffer from severe wrath; their 'leader' was not someone to cross to some extent. "I take it you're looking for the priestess?" He continued, changing the subject as his mind began to wander once more.

'Beautiful creature,' Suboshi mused with a smile at his brother's remark. Amiboshi always had been one of beauty, he noticed it far more than Suboshi and played beautiful music with his flute to calm even the most wild of spirits. "Hmm who knows what Nakago will say or do with Soi," Suboshi retorted with little care for the female warrior, Suboshi didn't care much for anyone apart from his twin and of course, his miko to whom he was loyal. "Yes, the priestess, I have been looking for her. Do you know where Lady Yui is brother?"

"Lonely? Hah, hardly. I'm not the one answering my own questions here nor upholding conversations with myself. You're badly mistaken myself for your own loniliness. I have Nakago and I don't need anyone else who claim to be my friends. I'm just fine the way I am. It's way better than my old life because at least now I know who my true friends are and he won't abandon me the way She did. If you think I'm going to fall for your stupid tricks than your sadly mistaking. That Byakko seishi man may have fooled me once of his plan to make me think he was nothing but a mere blind man who lost his way just to get close enough to me though Nakago was there to prevent the man from attacking me." Yui bitterly lashed out as she clenched her fist in anger. She didn't know why but it seemed he hit a sore spot but that goofy grin of his reminded her so much of Miaka that it sickened her but at the same time made her wonder if she really hated Miaka. "Look I have a schedule to keep rather than speak with you about all of this babbling nonsense. I'll have one of the servants call the guard so he can escort you to your room and in there you can eat as much as you like."

Kouji was taken back and slightly hurt by her remarks of his own 'lonliness'. "Just what do you know of me exactly?" he queried. "You don't know why I talk to myself and I don't why you're so angry with people you obviously thought were your friends. Tricks? Byakko seishi? I don't know these people and I don't this her who's obviously hurt you. Do you really think getting rid of me is going to get rid of these thoughts? You've been cold, rude and snappy but..." He shrugged. "I guess whether you want to admit to it or not, you've been hurt so I don't blame you. Maybe you should lighten up though, it might help." No matter what she said he wasn't about to be escorted off to some room.

Anger flooded through her face at his words. How dare he talk to her like that. She knew that he didn't know who she was but it still irritated her. Just what were his intentions here? She wasn't sure whether to believe him or not and it was true, she was being all those things he called her but she didn't care. It was the way she chose to deal with things. "You're right, I don't know you nor do I wish to know you. All of you men are the same." Yui darkly spoke, images of that 'unpleasant' day running through her mind. Oh how hard she tried to forget that day but no matter how hard she tried, it was a scar she couldn't seem to get rid of. She held her tears in even though she so badly wanted to release them. There was no way she was going to cry. It was useless to cry, nothing good could come out of it. Tears only showed weakness. Though no matter how hard she tried, silent tears slid down her cheeks.

Soi scowled. This had ended too soon. Not even a decent blast, she sighed. Her sharp ears picked up Amiboshi's remark and she had to fight back the urge to slap him. Insolent little weakling. She fumed silently. It was amazing, a few minutes back in the palace and already she felt murderous. "This place is poison," she muttered to herself as the Boshi twin left. She glanced about the wall studying the barrier or rather, what was left of the charged ions. One shot, that's all she wanted. One clean shot to vent her anger. She turned towards the stables, the day wasn't over yet. As she turned the corner she heard the twins' converation. If anything her irritation grew tenfold. With a quick and practically effortless reflex, a large thunderbolt fell from the ink-black clouds and stuck a tree nearest Amiboshi. The trunk splintered and wood was quickly consumed. "You take me too lightly child," she snapped coldly as she passed by.

Nuriko's expression softened and he let out a sigh. He remained silent for a moment, when he did speak his voice was low, making sure no one else would overhear.
"Im sorry, if I were a better seishi I would have been able to protect you from all this. None of this would have happened. I'm afraid I'm not very good at this..."
Once they arrived at the forementioned clinic, he glanced around suspiciously from their 'guide' than to the doctor. Gently, he set Miaka down in a chair being careful to not cause her further pain.

[Amiboshi]
"Do you think I might have upset her?" Amiboshi murmured mildly as he examined the destroyed tree, he was more upset over the destruction of the tree than that of nearly being singed by his 'ally' and with a small sigh he eventually turned his attentions back to Suboshi, "I believe that after she recovered from her faint spell, she made her way to the dining hall to meet with Nakago," He replied after a few moments as though he were attempting to recollect what had occured during the first encounter with the Byakko seishi.
Yes - if he was correct in his assumptions then she would have gone to the dining halls to eat and discuss plans with Nakago, it was where she had desired to go as soon as she woke up!
"It's your best bet at least." He mused thoughtfully.

Suboshi looked aroun himself with puzzlement for a moment. "I thought we were inside..." he muttered. "Well nevermind. In the dinning halls, perhaps I should go there but I'm not sure if I should disturb the lady. As for upsetting Soi, do you really worry much about that?" He gave his twin a coy grin.

Kouji was startled when the girl started to cry, he didn't know what to say and was afraid that drawing attention to it would only embarrass her. "I don't think all men are the same," he remarked quietly, "I've never met another man who talks to himself. Kouji that's probably not what she means. Perhaps not but still...I don't think we're all the same somehow." He shrugged. "Yell at me all you want, if it makes you feel better I don't mind but if it doesn't well then, do something that does. Even if it's to my misfortune I guess I'll try not to mind that much." He gave her a reassuring grin not sure what else to do.

Yuki_Yubari Suboshi looked aroun himself with puzzlement for a moment. "I thought we were inside..." he muttered. "Well nevermind. In the dinning halls, perhaps I should go there but I'm not sure if I should disturb the lady. As for upsetting Soi, do you really worry much about that?" He gave his twin a coy grin. [Amiboshi]
Amiboshi simply grinned at his brother's question and shook his head in mild amusement; his brother was always trying to find not-so subtle ways of insulting people while maintaining his own persona - it never ceased to amase Amiboshi, his brother's inate ability to make snide yet amusing marks and still manage to survive was often a great source of entertainment to him.
"No," He replied at last and then grimaced briefly as the memory of Subaru and her attempt to tear through Nakago's barrier flashed back to mind; how badly wounded would she be after that onslaught?
"But one thing that does worry me is the health of that Byakko; she looked like a caged bird that had had her wings cut Suboshi!"
[Subaru]
Now tugging at the masculine travel garb, Subaru began to smile and admired herself in one of the fountains close by the palace. She resembled nothing like her former self and reaching to caress the tight bun upon the back of her head she couldn't help but feel renewed and yet upset at the same time - her hair had always been a source of great pride to her and now she had cut it; why?
...To escape recognition in foreign and evidently enemy territory. It hurt to say the least but she was well aware of the situation and had forced herself to accept - in time it would grow back and perhaps she could persuade it to grow back much more quickly when she had time to herself in Sairou.
For now however, she had no choice other than to gather the pack that she had 'borrowed' from one of the stalls along with the food and other supplies and move towards the gates, however she wouldn't head directly towards the gates and instead she would head to another alley just east of here - in a more secluded area she would be able to crash through his second barrier and take her leave.
Granted, she didn't approve of the direction she was going in but perhaps she could persuade the women to sail her to the lands of Genbu if all else failed...
