Meanwhile, Eva had already propped her feet up on the control pad. "They're really taking their time, aren't they......?" She said, looking towards the door, then to the outside. "Nothin' to do but drift through space....." She said, placing her feet back on the ground. Instead, she placed both elbows near the controls, and rested her chin on both hands.

At the sound of another voice, Eva turned the chair around towards the entrance to the bridge. "Eva Milei. A pleasure." She said, extending a hand out to Kat. "So, what is your purpose aboard the vessel?" She asked, a small grin on her face. Eva wasn't really the chatty type, but right there and then, she'd decided it was better to know someone from the crew. "By the way, you were probably at the 'crew meeting', right? Any idea where the captain wants to go?" She asked the girl, tired of simply floating through space.

"Ariel you say? Excellent...." Eva responded, pressing a handful of buttons that would set them on course. Personally, she didn't know that much of the other planets. If she did though, they'd be all a blur in her mind. None the less, she had heard the name and had some idea of where to find it. "If they can get us a decent job there, it'd be the markings of a great start." She said, once again placing her feet on the control pad. "Now, you sayyou're the medic right? Do you have any practice on more offensive items rather than needles?"

Kat looked at the girl, and smiled, not really sure of what she was on about. She never had been good at getting the message. Turning to her Kat asked,
"Not to sure of what you mean? I may be smartish, but i sure am dense as well, hehe. Spose it has alot to do with being a doctor, for me to cure things i like everything out on the table, no secrets or nothing. Do forgive me"

Kat smiled at the girl in front of her. Taking the gun from her hands looking it over then giving it back.
"I sure can, I use to live out on one of the rim planets, gotta learn to use them sorta things. Though i do personally prefer to use the blade attached to my thigh or hand to hand combat. I may be a doctor, but before i was, i use to said people to them."

When she got the gun back, Eva gripped it tightly for a few moments and sighed. "Suit yourself. But if you ever need to freshen up on the use of this wonderful machinery, let me know." She looked down to the bag, then back at Kat. "I've got about every kind in there, at least those of my preference." At the moment, she saw the drunken man from earlier enter the bridge. She noticed that her shotgun got his attention, so she decided to place it inside the bag. "Not quite. It's only been 'bout an hour or so...." She said, walking back to the pilot's chair, nodding at both of them as she passed by. When she sat down, she placed on leg over the other, her right hand resting on the chair's back.

"Ai ya," Ian cursed, "Never able to sleep on a new ship well." He walked over to the co-pilot's chair and sat down, he jumped back up, pulling out what looked like a toy dinosaur from the cusions. He tossed it to one side as he sat back down. "Mind if I sit here, pilot?" He frowned, "Well that's not going to be a good way to get to know ya'. Name's Ian."

Ian shook her hand with a smile, "Would be lyin' if I said it wasn't." His lopsided grin was somethin' he had picked up from an old captain of his, and he very much liked to use it.
