The people that didn't know, I would've felt like slapping them and telling them to educate themselves xD. i didn't slap anything, but I did have to explain it. heehee I did a whole lot of educating that day. That isn't a bag, it's a bonnet. I just wasn't wearing it at the time because it slipped off because i don't have any hat pins. Well at least they had a great teacher to educate them. Oh, lol, I see it now. I imagine those are hard to keep on even if you tie them tight for fear of strangling yourself xD. It's true, and it was a really windy day, so it didn't work out very good at all.

It flying off and you chasing after it...it sounds like something Austen would write. You run after it and you're looking down, then suddenly a hand picks it up and hands it to you...and it's Mr. Darcy...I mean some smexy guy xD.

Now I'm worried I have nothing to wear to a ball xD. I wouldn't want to go to a modern ball anyway. I'd want to go to a very regent style ball. There is this place here that is kind of a historical site and they deal with the same time period only less fancy because at that time colonialism in canada was pretty new. So the ladies that came here came with their husbands and the fort live was pretty enclosed. Anyway, I think they should put on a ball in the great hall, they rent it out for weddings and stuff, so why not do a funraiser or something where it is an old style, voyageur era ball. Then i could wear my gown and go and dance jigs and reels with people. It think it would be incredible. If you want to check it out, This is the Fort William Historical Park Web Site.
