little_kitty_chan ..why the heck do i always imagine thta you guys look exactly like your avis? i keep thinking you guys will look like walking gaia characters for some reason!! idiot!!*bonks herself on the head* -sakura ps. i look...nothing like my avi. or sakura. Is that why you said, "Woah, I didn't think you'd look like that!"?!? Goodness, Sakura-chan! Of course we don't look like our avies! (there is no avy hairstyle for a girl that looks like my hair anyway.) -mokona ps - Jenx's hair sounds like mine!!

Jenx Malu CLBS To Jenx: I made both of the costumes. sweatdrop He only agreed to go like that. Therefore... I made the staff... I didn't think it was overzsized until you said it eek Anyway, thanks for the comments. To saku-chan: Now you see I don't look like my avi. sweatdrop Actually, I wear glasses, but I bought eye-contact lens to resemble Sakura the most I could. Oh, and... thanks to my grandma and mom for helping me with the costume! 4laugh Something else... what age do I look like? rolleyes I'd guess 15 or 16? And the staff is a good size but his goggles and buckles and stuff are kinda big. But man, you get major seamstress props. heart OMG I love you!!! 4laugh Do you know my real age? ... Well, I'm 22 sweatdrop and that picture is from June. I was 21 then, but people don't change that much in 5 months. As you can see, my hair is black, brown eyes. And my hairdo is just like Sakura-hime! I love that haircut. I'm sticking to it until I find a better looking hairdo! scream I have to say I was suspecting if you were male or female, Jenx-chan, but now I don't have any doubts. mrgreen confused Sorry about that... ....Bah. Gender is for the weak. twisted On a completely different topic, is it a terrible terrible idea to alter a shorts pattern to...
a) get rid of the drawstrings and elastic
b) add a button ans a zipper instead
And if not, does anyone know how to? Cause I want to do that to finish up my Mugen shorts (I ended up wearing an old pair of black cargo shorts at the con) but Mother Dearest is freaking out, even though I keep telling her it's my project not hers, and has hidden the fabric I bought until I either find out how to properly atler it or find a pattern more suited to the shorts... sweatdrop So... um... yeah. Anyone know how?

It's easy to tell who's a girl and who's a guy because girls are more happy, typically when they talk. Like on my mule, everyone I talked with asked, "So, why are you using a guy avy?" I'm not much of a seamstress, but it sounds possible. I really can't think straight enough right now to figure out how to do it though... sweatdrop Anywho, I don't know if this has been shown yet, but I thought these were pretty cosplays people did. Beg to differ- outside this guild, a grand total of 2 people have noticed I'm female. Oh, and I never said I was a girl. It's a gender studies thing. My sex is female, but I consider myself non-gendered.
Anyhoo, I gotta say I liked Malu's Sakura better, but those are some badass Syaorans! xd Can we see your cosplay?

Actually, I made the goggles that big because... well, you should take a look at the deluxe cover (the first one)... They're big! Well... maybe I overdid it, but anyway, it more or less matches the size of Syaoran's eyes, and human eyes don't have that size.
And once again, thanks for the comments. I hadn't noticed the goggles were big.
... Maybe it is a problem with CLAMP's super anorexic, long-armed and long-legged characters...(not a reply, just the truth; I still like the characters!) Neither my boyfriend nor I have the same bodies that CLAMP gave to Syaoran and Sakura. sweatdrop That would be impossible.
