fairy-phoenix Alias Facade fairy-phoenix Alias Facade fairy-phoenix The last game I played is Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for the Nintendo GameCube. What incredible nostalgia! I was just on a trip to visit family, and was restricted to my mobile phone for the duration. Been playing a lot of "Sim City Build It," which seems less like the old school sim city games, and more like a resource management kingdom simulator, but is still fairly entertaining! I took a break from PMTTYD for a bit and now I am playing Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box for the Nintendo DS. I really need to get myself a DS... I've got a two hour commute via public transit, and the poor phone just isn't up to the task! Or a 3DS smile Ideally a 3DSXL! wink

I love it because not only is the screen bigger but there is a longer battery life than a regular 3DS. xd

a Clockwork Science Final Fantasy Theatrhythm (3DS) Finally got my hands on a 3DS and played all the way through Legend of Zelda: Link Between worlds. Been looking for something to play next, and I've always been a big Final Fantasy fan... what are your thoughts on Theatrhythm?

Been looking for something to play next, and I've always been a big Final Fantasy fan... what are your thoughts on Theatrhythm? I love it. I'm big into rhythm games. I have the 2nd one, Curtain Call as well, but haven't played it yet. If you like rhythm games and Final Fantasy, I'd definitely recommend it. There is a lot of repeatability, too, because when you do well enough on the songs, it unlocks more difficult versions. I do well in Expert, which unlocks after scoring high enough on the basic level, but I haven't been able to pass many Ultimate level songs yet.

Also, you might like the game "Code Name S.T.E.A.M." It's a tactical game that's all steampunky. The story incorporates historical figures in kind of an alternate future. It's really cool. The only thing I don't enjoy about it is it's one of those games where you have to play the entire level and can't save during and then go to something else and come back days later. I mean, you can put it on pause just by entering rest mode on the 3DS, but I enjoy being able to leave something for days sometime, play something else in between. However, Code Name S.T.E.A.M. is a great game. I'd recommend trying it out. Maybe there's a demo you can download or something. smile My husband and I got Code Name S.T.E.A.M. for our anniversary. It came out just about the same time, and it was fitting since our wedding was steampunk. whee

Ah, that's going to be tricky then because I usually play on the bus and don't have a chance to use sound. Maybe I should try investing in some nice headphones, then give it a shot smile

I'd seen some pink ones in a store, but I didn't have the money to buy them. He ended up surprising me with them for Christmas. He drove all the way back to that store, which isn't too far but isn't exactly local, just to get them. heart It's super cool because they have a removable mic, and I've always wanted some headphones with a mic. Definitely play that demo of Code Name S.T.E.A.M. I think you'll love it. Let me know what you think whenever you do play it.
