Shou nodded excitedly. "I love those!" She said. "So good.... but my favorite is definitely a potato knish." She smirked, thinking about it for a few seconds. They were really really good. Holding back the slobber, she looked over to Rin, waiting for her question.

Rin nodded, seemingly feeling a bit less nervous as she fell into this pattern. It wasn't so bad really, once she was past the awkward phase. "What about favorite kind of music then?" She wasn't sure what to ask, she asked whatever sounded somewhat normal and casual.

"You already listened to my ipod.... it's all country and soft rock." She said, smiling. "I'm guessing you are a............ punk sort of girl." She tried to guess what Rin liked to listen to. She noticed that Rin was less tense, and that was good. She liked the more comfortable atmosphere that had enveloped them. Even if it was a date.

Rin gave a soft laugh and shook her head. "Perhaps if I listened to it, but I haven't heard a lot of types of music...I do like instrumental rock." Perhaps Shou wasn't too far off though. Rin didn't listen to music as much though, compared to anything else.

Dimitri stood still as he waited for the light to change in order to cross. He watched as the friends, the couples and even the families that came by to visit, pass him by. He coiled his tongue as he continued to lounge, playing a small tune in his head that he heard on his travels. He really had nothing else to do.

Shou nodded, and thought about it. "Guess you were surprised about an i-pod, then you would definitely wouldn't know much about music. One place you have wanted to visit in the world." She asked, finishing off her salad. There, she finished it. Darn, she wanted to let Rin have a piece. Next time. Next time she would force Rin to try it. Laughing to herself, she smiled at Rin, getting once more lost in the girls sunglasses, seeing how she refused to take them off so Shou could get lost in her eyes.

ian92867 "I'm fine, love. Thanks." Ian answered after getting his bearings back. He was only a little disoriented. He then looked to Gilly once more after hearing another question from her. A demon... going to church... hmm... it felt somewhat familiar... perhaps it was benign... for now. Best leave it be unless it openly attacks... "Let's leave it be for now, and put some faith in the church." He answered with a nod, smiling yet again. Nodding in agreement with Ian, Gilly kept holding his hand, her bracelet falling slightly, mirroring his. Checking the time, Gilly looked up at the sky. It was still a clear sky, but the sun began to set, the cool, deep blue evening sky had begun to set in.
"Well, we still have some time to keep looking around, maybe find some more treasures like these." Gilly held up her wrist, and grinned, continuing her walking. She pulled Ian alongside, so that the pair were walking side-by-side. Gilly's head turned from left to right, right to left, taking in the sights. Past the numerous heads, Gilly caught a glimpse of a familiar figure. Tip-toeing, Gilly spotted Dimitri.
Letting go of Ian's hand, Gilly waved over the crowd of people, hoping Dimitri would see. Her bracelet glinted in the setting sun. "Reznov-san!" She shouted, hoping he could hear, or see her tiny hand stretch out over the heads.
After a minute of waving, Gilly relaxed. "Hm...he probably can't hear me. Or see. I'm too short." She chuckled, and paused, as if inspired by an idea. Turning to Ian, Gilly tugged on his shirt sleeve, and wrapped an arm around his waist, turning him toward her. "Y'know what you should do? To help a little ol' girl like me?" Gilly started, grinning a sly smile up at his face. "You should prop me up on a shoulder or something. You're such a big, and strong, and sturdy boy." Gilly laughed, and rested her hands on his shoulders.

Just as the light turned red and the lane Dimitri was in was allowed to go, Dimitri stopped himself from crossing. He could've sworn someone was calling him, but he couldn't pinpoint the source. He looked around, his eyes going from a narrowed stare to a wide-eyed scan. He was confused and didn't want to stick around if it was just a trick. He decided that he was going to ignore it and go but just as he was about to cross, a trolley rang by speeding down the street. Dimitri stopped himself as he stared at the stoplight, showing a red, glaring hand overlooking the crosswalk. Annoyed, he pulled his foot back and waited for the next cycle.

Rin shook her head, admitting that would be true. She thought about the next question. Interesting question..."Rome." She answered simply. It seemed like an interesting place to visit. Very interesting culture too. The waiter eventually came by with their food and set it down before leaving once again.

Shou nodded, starting to dig into her food. "I've always wanted to go to New York." She told Rin, nodding. "I like the big city. The stars, the famous, the poor, all mingling in a few square miles of concrete and glass." She finished, taking a sip of her water. Rome, that was an interesting place. She never really thought about going there. Maybe she should.

Rin listened as she started eating her food as well. New York...in America, she believed. Didn't know a great deal about it yet. "How about..." She thought, trying to think of another question. "Any plans for the future? I don't know, careers, school, anything." She asked, after a moment.

Ian nodded to Gilly, thinking maybe there would eba few more things to get, something to hold memories to, maybe...
Revnov? huh?
Ian wasn't sure why he was here, but nonehteless, listened to Gilly. "Alright, hold still..." he answered and within a few seconds, propped her up on his shoulders. He made sure to keep balance and everything, being one with very very good physichal ability for his age.

Shou looked at Rin. "The future? To be happy...." She said. She honestly didn't know what she wanted to do. She only wished that she, and those who she cared for, would be happy. The future was honestly a bit too far away for her. Or at least it was until recently. Now it was getting closer and closer. And Shou did not like that in the least. She didn't have a plan for the said miraculous future. She just was.

Rin blinked. It was a simple answer. But it was a good answer. "That's...a very good plan, actually." She admitted, with a small nod. "I suppose...I want to be useful to someone." It sounded like a strange goal for her future, but concerning the purpose she was born with, it really wasn't all that strange.

Shou nodded. "But I need someone to be happy with. You understand?" She asked, staring at Rin. In her mind nothing was worse then being alone. She sighed, "What's the point of being happy if there is no one to share the happiness with?" She thought out loud. It was probably her great fear: Loneliness. She choose to get lost in meaningless things, to try and avoid loneliness. Only once before had she been lonely, the first time she came to Japan. She still remembered the nights where she cried herself to sleep. Sometimes she still did. Just thinking of then made her sad. Still, when Rin asked the question, she had answered it. She wanted to be with someone. To be happy with someone. The only question in her mind was who to be happy with.
