"No problem." she smiled and then she turned to the look at the wall. "By the way, one of your so called patients is having a bit of trouble outside." she said before walking off down the hall.

"I'll take care of it" Salazar said walking outside to Stella. He saw her, walked over to her and said."Come on sleepy, you can stay in one of my rooms."

Stella got up slowly. "I guess I waited too long to sleep..." she smiled slightly.

He smiled back and led her inside. "Just choose a bedroom upstairs, doesn't matter which. Sleep for a bit and then come see me."

Once Hikaru found the kitchen, she began looking through the cabinets and the fridge to see what was available to use. She could tell he wasn't much of a cook just by looking and couldn't but let out a soft chuckle while shaking her head. She took out the few vegetables he had and began chopped them up along with some sort of meat she found in the fridge. She decided to make stew. It was a special recipe that her mother had taught her as a child and just smelling it cooking made her feel somewhat comforted. She missed her family a lot and she loved them dearly, but staying with them would mean she would have to become a vampire hunter once again. Not to mention, she hadn't really had any other friends since then. Hikaru couldn't help but feel a little lonely when traveling on her own. She would be embarrassed to say it, but she actually was very touched when Salazar called her his friend. She stood there for a moment, staring at the boiling water on the stove.

Stella nodded and went upstairs. She picked a room that looked the most clean and sat down on the bed. She took her shoes off, her feet ached, and laid down. About a minute later, she was asleep.

Salazar watched her go upstairs and then he went into the kitchen. He took a large whiff of the air and said "Smells great. Stew?"

After a few minutes of preparing, Hikaru put the lid on top of the cooking pot. She sighed to herself in satisfaction. It would need about ten more minutes minutes of cooking on the stove and then the stew would be ready. She was caught by surprise once again by Salazar's voice. She turned and smiled at him. "Ya...its um...a secret recipe!" she grinned. She dropped her smile a little and rubbed the back of her head nervously. "Um...this may be a stupid question but....you do eat regular food right?" she turned away a little.

"Of course. The whole 'eat it' thing was only a little joke. Like I said I try to stay civil about this." he said this with a smile that showed that he didn't mind the question.

"oh ok." she said, relieved a bit, which was evident in her tone. "Well I added as much meat as I could find. I'm sure you prefer that over the veggies." she laughed lightly. She turned back to the stove and lifted the lid carefully of the cooking pot. "Looks like...it about done!" she said cheerfully. Maybe she was getting a little too much into her role, but it really did make her happy. It wasn't often she cooked for more than herself. It kinda gave her the sensation a special holiday would give a normal person. Hikaru stirred the stew once more and then walked over to the cabinet she had saw the plates and bowls in. "What about the girl? Should we wake her?" Hikaru questioned while standing on her tiptoes, trying to reach into the high cabinet.

Salazar gave a small chuckle and said "I'll go wake her." He ran upstairs and found the room she was in. He nudged her a bit and said "Stews on downstairs, do be polite and have some. It smells great."

Hikaru finally managed to grab the pile of bowls and set them all out on the counter. Looking around for a moment, she found the silverware in one of the nearby drawers. She didn't spare anytime and began pouring the stew. Hikaru began to hum to herself as she enjoyed the intoxicating smell of the food. Hikaru had a rather gentle and pretty voice, but she sometimes got embarrassed when others listened to her. She let the simple tune roll through her throat as she walked over to another counter and prepared some toasted bread.

Stella nearly sat right up. "I can smell it up here. It really does smell great." She smiled with her eyes half closed.
