Autumn smirked,"No no one does think about the outsiders do they? Thats why it will be fun to find some outsiders from all these diffrent races. I'm sure there are some."

Riggs smiled at Autumn "Yeah, but hopefully by then we'll be done with this kinda thing..." he smiled.

(So do you want me to announce when we arrive to meet these Mercenaries? Or would you like to just say when the ship reaches the spot?)

The Liberty rocked as it was almost hit by a missile, on the bridge a transmission was coming through on a signal that seemed to be transmitting to many other targets, the young woman, Riley, glared at the camera at the intruders "UNSC vessels... we do not tolerate incursions into our laboratory... I suggest you either bring someone who can explain your actions or turn back..." she spoke softly, coldly but enough to cause a ripple of fear down even the bravest commanders back. (we meet them now)

Admiral Daala had been under fire immediately exiting Hyperspace before, and her life had been threatened many times, and this girl talked a lot like she would in the same situation. "ExO, get Autumn and Riggs up to the bridge and have the crew ready for battle," she said.
"Yes ma'am," he replied, then he broadcast over the ship's internal speakers, "Riggs and Autumn to the bridge, and all hands to battle stations, prepare for battle."
Crewmen started running to their posts and guns were up, but not the shields yet. Liberty was of an older class of vessel, one that could survive a couple nukes with just it's thick armor plating.
Then Admiral Daala replied to their message, "if you have not noticed we bear no UNSC markings on our hull," she did not back down in her reply at all. Show no fear in the face of your enemy was a creed she lived by. "But if that is not reason enough to hold your fire then wait a moment for our ambassadors to return to the bridge. They can explain what you want to know."

Riley glared at Daala "It would make sense for the UNSC to use new tactics in trying to hunt down their 'failed' experiments, you are still broadcasting a UNSC command Microsignal from your communications array." she said flatly as Riggs and Autumn arrived on the Bridge, Riley's face remained it cold glare as Rigggs smiled "It's been a while General..." "Yes... i remember you Boy... I also remember that the debt i owed your ancestor was fully repaid a century ago..." she sighed before looking off camera at one of her 'troops' "cease fire and prepare the base for organic guests..." she growled, not happy that her base would have to be 'ventilated' as a doorway in the side of an asteroid opened up to allow the Liberty inside.

When the transmission had ended Admiral Daala turned and looked at Riggs, "you cannot expect me to take my ship inside of that asteroid," she said firmly, "I am all for gaining new allies, but to put everything right inside of her base is not something I am prepared to do. You can travel over there in shuttles."
(If you want to argue the point you can, this is just how the Admiral would react)

Autumn nodded at what the Admiral said,"That fine with me I don't mind the shuttle." She looked at Riggs wondering a couple of questions of her own about everything he was into. The UNSC had helped her a lot by giving him to her for her own needs.
She would ahev to thank them when she got the chance but she had also promised to help out the rebels if she got that chance as well. Autumn knew she would have to cover her tracks somewhere.

Riggs smiled "well... you'll have to come with us Admiral... Riley really hates having her hospitality refused..." he smiled, the admiral sighed and reluctantly followed them to the shuttle as it flew across, docking in a bay surrounded by Choke Squad troops, the door opened andthe three stepped out, one of the troops advanced and, in it's cold voice, spoke "Welcome Riggs... and allies... the Prime is waiting to recieve you in her laboratory..." and pointed beyond the large carrier that had brouhgt the Hive-Mind here.

(Not that big a deal, but this time I would have liked to respond with the Admiral instead of being autowalked, just saying, so I will post what she would have done)
Admiral Daala did not like this, she was a soldier, not a negotiator. She sighed resignedly and said, "alright, then Liberty will go in. Should things go awry being inside the stomach of the beast could give us a tactical advantage." And what she meant was 'mutually assured destruction': you try to kill us, then we will take you down with us.
Liberty entered the asteroid using maneuvering thrusters alone and then docked inside the large hangar bay.
When they exited the ship they were flanked by 4 rebel soldiers, not nearly enough to do anything significant, but perhaps enough to recover an injured Admiral if they were lucky.
Admiral Natasi Daala was armed with a sidearm, but once again it offered little protection against a base full of androids.
(Um, so yeah, she will go with them this time as well, just so you know)

The contingent continued to walk through the 'hive', their guide seemed to be particularly interested in the admiral "It is strange... the Prime has eyes and ears everywhere... yet we have no record of your vessel after a specific date... I fear our spy may have been deactivated..." he said, not registering the loss of a drone.

"Liberty is an older vessel," Natasi explained, "we found her in a junkyard orbiting a moon in Alpha Centauri. It was a mothball fleet of retired vessels. Liberty's reactor and hyperdrive were still intact, so we sent a covert team to capture her and break her out. Her hull was laid down in 2134 and she was put on active duty in 2137, and then finally retired in 2182. I believe that was before you probably came online."
(If you did not know the current year is 2220)

The guide would have been laughing if he could "Our hive mind has existed for over a century and a quarter... We were active when those ships were all that the UNSC had..." he explained "Which also explains why we have no scouts on your ships..." he smiled, pointing toward a medical unit "We keep our presence secret through using Organic Drones... you'd be surpised how easy it is to implant our espionage technology into a human brain and not leave any evidence... they don't even remember our surgery, or even realise we're using them as our agents..." he explained as they approached Riley's private lab.
(I checked, it's all possible either now or near future ^ ^ plus Riley was created to deal with the first android-human war back when Autumn was young, that was when the hive mind was built.)

(Yup, sounds fine with me biggrin )
The Admiral reflexively glanced at the sidearm attached to her thigh even though she knew that if they really wanted to the could disarm her before she even moved a finger. This is why she hated negotiations.

Autumn put a reassuring hand onto the Admiral's shoulder. "I know its a bit to take in." Autumn would protect the two humans here with her life if she had to. Autumn didn't agree with using anyone for something if they didn't know what they were doing.
"We came here because we need help with recapturing Zechs."
