Pfft, there are always ways to ask people stuff without posin it as a question. Although it's kind of gender-ist... no, um, the words that means that but is better... except not... ok, back to the last part of that. I thought women were good at asking stuff without forming it as a question. Scenario: A middle aged couple are sitting in bed. Wife: "I'm awfully thirsty." Husband goes and gets her a glass of water because by now he knows better than to ignore that, not much better but a little bit.
(By the way, this whole thing was me asking someone to shut me the hell up without using and question marks.)

Nonetheless. Rather than saying, "please get me a glass of water" it is understodd that "I'm thristy" is more or less the same thing. ... and I couldn't think of any other situation where people just do what other people ask.
