He returned her greeting in kind. "Evening Aurahkah." Saradin chose to occupy a seat next to the egg's nest and its guardian. After a moment of watching her movements he dropped the planned 'how was your day' in favor of, "Are you just waking up?" Not that he could say much about it, he hadnt slept normally in a few days now himself. "Using the night to practice your new powers?"

Aura raised an eyebrow to him, and smiled. "Yes, I am actually." She skipped a meal or a drink, not really having an appetite yet. Taking a seat next to Saradin, she turned her attention to him. "And again yes, I have been practicing my powers...rather successful once I figured out the trick to it all."

"Well I wish you further luck, and warn you not to carry it to far. Normal shadow travel is simply along the border of the planes. If you travel to far in you may find yourself in danger. Your magic may even function differently in deeper parts of the plane. Make sure you don't go overboard, I've nearly killed myself to many times to count."

That definitely interested Aura. Now how come no one told her that before? "Well how far, is too far considered Saradin? I mean, I know I can travel, I can even just stand in the plane now but, I'm not clear on this whole danger part." Exactly how far had she been in the plane then that one time? Sure the air felt thicker and the shadows seemed darker, but she had been in no danger, right? Well that was until her emotions faltered, then it had hurt her...badly. She laughed almost nervously. "Now I think I've become uncomfortable with this shadow walking thing again..."

"Normaly I use my powers to only speed my movements across this world. That only slips you between an spatial gap where two different planes meet. Generaly, the best ways to keep track of how far in you are are simple enough. You've undoubtedly noticed the darker blots around you as you travel, heading into these brings you closer to that full reality. Once fully on the other side, it will look exactly like normal, but it will have obvious differences twisitng to the darkness. Thats where creatures like me are born."

"Ah. Well at least I know that now. Guess I have some rules to follow then, and I have to watch my step. Then again I think my use of these particular powers won't be a common occurrence. I'm still working out my method on going about it." She leaned back some, taking a glance at the wolf on the floor. His egg was still intact and doing quite well it seemed. He had even made a nest for it. Aura sighed for a moment. "Saradin, have you seen Nailah around lately?"

"Final warning: Once on the other side, you don't have to maintain your powers to stay in that reality. And getting out works differently, you might not have ahold of the ability at first, so its risky." With that out of the way he went to her question. "About Nailah..." Saradin swept his hand along the kitchen drawing attention to the bottles. "She drank herself unconcious."

Aura chuckled. "I thought that was you who emptied all those...sorry if that sounds horrible of me." She then laughed again. "An Egyptian drinking herself unconscious, I never thought I'd see that one. We can pretty much drink anyone under the table." Letting her head tilt to the side some she sighed. "Pity, I needed to apologize to her and thank her while I'm at it."

Saradin shared the joke at his expense and laughed. "I could easily take all of this and more. I havent been drunk in centuries. I dare say I could out drink anyone else here." Lifting himself upward and heading towards the door, he gave her his parting words. "Well, I took her to her room. She's probably out cold still though. As always, I have things I want to do right now, I'll see you later Aurah."

"Later then Saradin. Don't get yourself hurt or anything weird." She then looked to Eclispe. "Well my friend, seems you still haev your egg there."
"Ah, ah! Back away! Away from the egg and the wolf!"
She raised an eyebrow. "Right..."

Aura turned to see Nailah. "Evening Nailah. Come over here, have a seat." She indicated the seat that Saradin had been previously occupying. "I got your note. But first I think I owe you an apology."
Eclipse glanced Nailah. "Don't ask and stay away."

Nailah once again raised an eyebrow at the wolf. "I wasn't going to but now I just might." She took two steps toward the wolf just to mess with him. Then she turned to Aura and walked over to the recently vacated seat. She knew she had an apology to get to but she just didn't want to. "Aura, I-" She stopped, unsure of how to go on.

Aura sat there. Well she wasn't going to interrupt her.
Eclipse flattened his ears and growled. He didn't even say a word, just growled feral then barked harshly. He then stood and grasped his bowl, moving back so that he was in a corner of the kitchen.
"Eclispe...don't be mean."
