She sat up slowly, streaching. She hadnt fallen asleep, just rested he eyes. She stood up, glanced around sleepily before she moved to the boat. She gave it a shove and jumped in. She sat there, watching the river as the water pulled the boat along.

Josh held ranaes hand on his cheek and looked longingly towards her, his urge for her to truly see him annoyed him, a flutter from his stomach made itself noticable and then josh had an idea.
"I want you to see me... and i think the sword can help". josh took her hand and lead her back to where the sword was.
"if we both hold on, the magic should allow you to see, but do not take any unnessecary risks"
He smiled again gently and stroked some hair from her face.

Kyo looked aroudn the camp, and notcied everything was destroyed. He had heard Lin say that Japan had been taken, by an unknown force. He wasnt sure what to do. He first ran into the forest and looked frantically for Rin. He saw her standing with some man. It looked like they were having a private conversation, so he hid behind a tree so as not to disturb them.

Yukimura stood in the center of the battleground, his spear in hand. He leaned against it for support, looking around at the scarred land. Bodies littered the grassy plain, his enemies and his troops. Though he was without injury, blood was splattered across his armor and face; that of his enemies. The rebellion had been quelled without too much damage. Damage reports showed that while he had lost approximately 256 troops, the entire enemy force of 730 had been decimated, not one left alive.
"The Sixth Portal," he whispered to himself. "It should be complete by now..." He panted for a moment while he walked back towards the castle, watching his men clean up the mess.

Ranae trembled nervously, unsure of what they were about to do.
"How can you be sure this will work.." She whispered, though somehow she knew it would reach his ears.

Tahaya "Your brother Tahaya, and yoru friend Kino, they are dead. The feel into a magic pool and died. I freed there spirits from the ice but the body was killed. Im sorry. He asked me to let you know this and to go back to japan, and he asked me to finish his job. I figure i will do it, but you should leave. Its dangerous here you know." He told her with a smile.

Yukimura has regained his composure once he had reached the Palace Bedroom, standing in front of the mirror in his soiled army, reaching for the flesh stone which he kept in a pouch at his side. He held it up to the mirror, watching it do it's little portal dance before opening. He stepped inside, noticing that another door had been added that he had never seen before.
"The Sixth Portal...Ruins of Azuchi..." he whispered to himself, a smile creeping across his face. He crawled through the Sixth Gateway, waiting with apprehension to appear on the other side.

"i do not know, but the sword has made a bond with me and i trust it completely, i feel powerful with it ranae truly i do, and i trust you with all my heart, so overall i believe this will work".
He placed his hand over the swords hilt and nodded to ranae.
"you do not have to do this if you dont want to"
He gave a reassuring smile.

Kyo peaked out from behind the tree and saw Rin beginningh to cry. He ran from his hiding place and ran ove rto her and knelt down bedie her,"Rin..what wrong?" he said looking concerned?

Yukimura looked over the burnt ruins of the former Azuchi Castle. He shook his head in shame for a moment.
"So many people died here. Powerful ones too...now their souls float with no where to go..." He took a step towards the ruins and then another, until he was standing in the center of where the castle would have been. He looked down in front of him and saw the armor Nobunaga once wore, now empty of body
"Until now, that is," he said with a tone that sounded strangely like Nobunaga's. He lifted his hands and made a humming sound, opening his mouth and singing a Soul Song, Requiem to the Hero. At first, nothing happened and the ground stayed still. Then suddenly, bright lights began to flash up from the ground, surrounding Yukimura's body.

She looked over to Kyo who was by her side and her burst into tears and hugged him tightly. "He's gone again...my brother is gone..." She remembered how happy she had been when he came back and when he promised not to go again, however, now that it was the second time he was dead, it hurt even more.

((Sorry for attack the creature Dragula, my apologies. Now I'll move out of everyone's way...))
Synapse zipped upwards in the sky. It turned around and decided to wander around Japan. Noticing something strange, Synapse surged downward, leaving a trail of light and smoke behind it. It softly touched down in front of the towering castle that lay in ruins.

Ranae nodded and set her face into a look of determination. She stepped forwards and took Joshs hand tightly in hers as with her other hand she grasped the hilt of the sword.

Kyo was in shock when he heard her say that Tahaya was dead, but he hgged her tightly back,"its ok...his sould is free now from the troubles of thsi earth." and he tried to sooth her.

Finishing his absorbance of the normal souls that had perished there, Yukimura prepared to make Nobunaga's energy his own. He then saw Synapse floating through the air. "Go away. I shall deal with you later," he said, putting his hand against the ground, taking off his glove. A purple light began to eminate from the ground, a beam shooting through Yukimura's hand. He winced, though it caused no pain. A surge of purple light began to flow into Yukimura's palm, surrounding his body as he took all the power from the ground. He remembered Nobunaga saying something once... Nobunaga Oda "Azuchi Castle is the embodiment of my power. In it lies all of my energy. Even if it dies, my energy shall live on in it's foundation." Yukimura never forgot this, and now it was being proven. He continued to suck the energy from the ground, surrounding himself in a purple aura.
