The orcs grew in size and number, but this made no difference to Haku. He continued to slash them in vital points, to take them out quicker. He jumped, flipped and kicked helements off, slashing then or cracking there necks from the kick. As he continued to fight, with the blood splattering on his face, he caught a glimce of the young women and how good a fighter she was.

Josh had sat and listened intently, and then had angled his head a little when ranae had hidden her face. He saw her expression and couldnt help but laugh. He composed himself and continued retelling what he had seen.
"this race that ruled the elves, i think i felt they're power through the sword, it was unrivaled"
He looked back into ranaes face and longed for her to be able to see.

Ranae couldnt help but blush. Though she only was a tiny bit, it stood out on her pale skin. Needing to do something with her hands, she finished braiding her har before fastening the many little braid back with an elaborately embroidered forest green headband. She gazed unseeing at Josh's face and gave him a comforting smile, her blush depening a bit as her hand rested over his.
" What are you going to do with your new found companion?"

Noticing her fall, Haku transformed into a dragon and flew into the beast. Biting and knocking him away in the same instant. With his large, muscular yet thin body, he swung his long tail at the rest of them, leaving her much space to get up and get her weapon. He flew back towards the groups of them. Slashing and biting them, he didnt let up. They all slowly fell to the ground on the east and north side of the circle swarm.

He entwined his hands with hers. "well seeing as it has accepted me, i reckon i'll bring it along, i mean its been nice enough to show me things that i never thought where possible so i might aswell show it a good time by killing something evil with it. But i do not want to overuse it, it seems as if it could do me some serious damage if i held it too long."
He moved a little closer to ranae and whispered again.
"but i have no clue what to do with my other companion, what do you suggest i do with her"
He said again smiling into ranaes beautiful face.

She got up wearily and let her claw like fingernails protrude from her hands. She swiped at another orc, severing him and she continued her attack, blood spraying on her face, in her hair, and on her kimono. She tumbled forward onto the ground after receiving a hit and she landed beside her sword, which she immediately grabbed and plunged it through the stomach of another orc, her arm going all the way through.

Ranae fought to control her ever deepening blush, trying to ignor the was her breath came faster and her heart thumped in her chest. He was so close to her, she wound feel the warmth of his body. She leaned forwards until she could feel his warm breath on her face.
"I will...stay with you.." She whispered so him softly, for his ears only.

Haku continued to fight with the orcs and finished off the last bunch. He reverted. He cleaned off his blade and walked back to Rin. He held out his hand to pick her up."Are you alright? I apoligize about my hostility before. I am Haku, the Water Dragon. If you are Lady Rin, i have a message for you." He told her in a comforting voice.

He could see her blush and josh just smiled, he had an immediate attraction to the woman who sat before him ever since they had met in the forest. He moved ever closer to her, till his forehead was just a milimetre from hers. He didnt know if this was right or wrong to be this close to a woman, for he had no previous experience with there kind.
"...good", he had managed a brief whisper but his heart was beating to fast and a knot was appearing in his throat. For all his experience in being a battle trained warrior, he melted and was a softy in ranaes hands.

Ranae flashed him a sweet smile before her heart gave a sudden jolt and she tilted her head slightly to the side, pressing her lips against his and closing her eyes softly, enjoying the feel of his lips on hers.

"Your brother Tahaya, and yoru friend Kino, they are dead. The feel into a magic pool and died. I freed there spirits from the ice but the body was killed. Im sorry. He asked me to let you know this and to go back to japan, and he asked me to finish his job. I figure i will do it, but you should leave. Its dangerous here you know." He told her with a smile.

Warmth spread over him, her lips were so soft and gave him a tingly feeling thinking about it. He kept his lips locked with hers, and to him everything in the world stopped, it was just himself and ranae in a moment of paradise. Josh finally stopped the kiss and moved his head back. He was breathing heavily and looked shocked. "I .. i....i........i....i......." he tried to speak but words couldnt explain how he felt. He sat there silent and in awe.

Ranae smiled, blushing deeply herself. Her fingers were still entwined around his. She reached forward with her other hand and ran her fingertips down his cheek. Only now when the kiss was disconnected did she once again hear the noises of the forest. It was as if everything had frozen in time when their lips were locked together.
