"A pointless show of bravado between the two of you then. Not like I'll attempt to stop you. May the best guardian win. He's a dragon though Eclipse, you may have to watch out for yourself on this one." He cut temperature on the oven and took a seat while sipping from a glass that certainly contained some alcohol. "I'm rooting for you though. Don't lose to him, youve got the age advantage."

"It's less about you being weaker than him physically or faster than him, its more on that his form is more... capable." Saradin raised a hand showing off his thumb. "He has these. And as you have made obvious in coming here, you cant carry that egg to well." Emptying his glass he rinsed it out and went to refill it with something considerably less unhealthy from the fridge.

"No intention of making fun of your handless condition. Just stating facts." Then Saradin relocated himself to the meat locker door. "About what I'm making, just a couple of things that will be kept cold until everythings ready. Don't tell anyone, and keep yourself out of it too, but I've finished most of the desserts already. I'm keeping them hidden in the back of the meat locker."

Khenu closed the door to his room, and took off racing down the hall. A ball of energy as always he mad his way quickly to each wing, checking to see who was up, using his slightly controllable empathic skills to do so.

He sighed, finding a lot of people actually asleep. "Do these people not like the sun or something." His stomach growled at him and the boy laughed cheerfully. "To the kitchen!"

And he was off running again, making his way quickly into the kitchen and almost slamming into the table there. He steadied himself and smiled as he saw Eclipse. He instantly dropped down next to the wolf and patted his head. "Hiya Eclipse!"

Eclipse placed his forepaws around his bowl, pulling it closer to himself. Kids were curious, and he didn't need Khenu's hands all over his egg. Apparently it was a bad thing according to Munalisk. "Hello Khenu." He looked back over his wing ridge to Saradin. "I don't molt...that's a bird thing."

Again pulled from his pondering Saradin searched for the source of the new voice. "Khenu." All he could do was sit in bewilderment at what was happening to him. It had happened a couple times in the last few days and he didnt understand it. "No, I didnt drop anything in it." He drank the entire glass at once and looked back at the boy. "Where have you been lately?"

Examining the glass ball, he thought idly of the boys powers. "Have you ever thought to try charging batteries?" Giving thought to the psuedo-technology involved the creation of this artifact he was already applying it to other uses. "How exactly did you achieve this in the first place? And what will happen if it breaks?"

Khenu looked around to Eclipse for a moment. "No offense taken...Hawk Dog." He turned his smiling eyes back to Saradin. "Battery?" What was that supposed to be anyway?

"It's easy really. I learned how to make glass back in my village, it's not too hard just takes a long time. As for the electricity part it's my own that I produce. I just wait for it to spark itself up and stick a finger into a hole in the ball. Then I seal up the hole." He blinked a few more times up at Saradin. "Is it supposed to be hard to do that kind of thing?"

"As far as breaking. Well that electricity shoots out all over the place, but especially zaps what it hits. I should know I learned the hard way."
