Kentuki repeatedly attacked the creature he wasnt hurting it but he was at least keeping it from chasing rin.

The ball of light swiftly circled around the beast, caging it within a ring of light. The streaks that it left behind linked to each other, solidifying the barrier. Beast took the shocks from the electrons being fired from the circumference. The perimeter shrunk, squeezing the thing tighter and tighter, restricting its movement, without pausing to discharge electricity into it. The intensity doubled as Synapse orbited it even faster, nearly reaching the speed of sound.

The creature lunged at him his body grew wider so it was almost impossible to dodge. He got hit and flew back into a tree snapping it in half. The creatures approaches him slowly.

Unaware that Josh was awake, she decided to leave him to sleep and go bathe. She could hear the joyfull trickling of a spring through the trees. She lay there for a moment to gether her strength before attempting to stand. It took her three tries but she finally did it. Drum came over to her and she leaned on him for support as she began to walk towards the noise of the water. Her bare feet enjoyed the soft feel of moss beneath them as she slowly walked. As she approached the water she quickly stopped to listen. Some robins chattered cheerfully in their nests, a young fox chased a squirrel up a tree. No one was around to spy on her. She quickly stripped off her clothing and slipped into the small pool of water. It was bone chilling and she scrubbed quickly. As she cleaned herself, her hands ran over the fresh scar on her side, identical to that of Josh's. She frowned, shaking her head and climbing out of the spring , drying off quickly so as not to catch a cold. Ranae dressed a warm colored green shirt, the same kimono-like style of her other shirt. It tucked into a rust colored sash that matched her baggy pants that as usual tucked into her black knee high boots. She then found a mossy rock and sat down, beginning to braid her raven hair in many small braids all over her head as she hummed softly to herself.

She stopped running and slid to a stop when she felt him put his weapon to her neck. Her gold eyes were frightened as she stared back into cold eyes. She didnt move, but her hands trembled as she tried to find her voice to speak. "Who are you..."

Josh had felt ranaes prescense leave, and he wandered where she had gone, he finally opened his eyes, and could not see her. A bemused expression crossed his face, and he stood up, his muscles ached and he felt tired, but he wanted to tell ranae of what he had seen.
The elf had left the sword where it was standing as josh didnt know whether it would unleash its energies again if he touched it. He carride on through the clearing and found ranae braiding her hair. Josh had to stop, the scenery looked beautiful, a rocky spring trickling water and an equally beautiful woman sitting near it. He let in a deep breath then sighed. He had felt a strange feeling since he touched the sword, it was as if something within him was trying to break free, but it was only a small sensation and josh could easily over look it.
The elf moved forward out of the tree's and regarded ranae with a cool glance. "I never expected that to happen when i touched the sword".
He joked and then gave a small smile.

The Creature lunges at Kentuki but dissapears into a mist before he hits him. Soon the mist is gone and the creature is nowhere.
