Zahar positioned herself right beside SK and sat down carefully on the wall hanging. We shall have to see how I feel after I drop the magics. Could you even see me signing to you in the dark? She slowly started to dim the glow about her until she could barely see SK. Holding it there she waited for him toreply. Her hands were grasping tightly at her dress and eyes darting around fearing every shadow.

he smiled,"i can see the difference in the warmth of each breath you take you yes i can see you jsut fine," he shook his head at her tenseness, "close your eyes then drop the light, it will be as though you did nothing and the shadows arent crepiung in. there is no shadow in darkness. there is no lies nor tricks to the eyes, so, in truth, ther dark should be feared less then the light."

Zahar nodded and then reached out to SK placing one hand on his shoulder. Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes and dropped her light. The room went into a quick darkness. She shivered as if she could tell even though her eyes were closed. Her heart rate increased and her breathing became heavier. Hand clenched tighter onto his shoulder and she shifted closer to him as if feeling him next to her was comfort enough to let her know things would be ok.

She took a deep breath and signed slowly. I do not need to eat at this time. Thank you for the offer. And yes, my hip is still being quite bother some. Can you even see what I am saying? Zahar eyes opened and she tried to look at SK. Her grip tightened again when she couldn't see through the darkness and her other hand moved quickly to find a place on his chest below her other hand. More then anything she wanted to curl up on his lap knowing that she would be safe in his arms, but she found that action to be very child like and wasn't sure how he would react.

Zahar shifted again feeling a little embarrassed about clinging to SK so, but not able to let him go. Is there anything that you think I should know? Since I am not sure what you are teaching me, I do not know what exactly to ask about. I know there are many things that I do not know about your homeland, you people and such, I do not wish to pry though. I am eager to hear what ever you ahve to say though. Zahar tried to look at him following where his voice had come from, but she still saw nothing.

"where to begin. i have told you the basics of what i will be teaching you. i will tech you the art of critical striking should you choose to want to learn such combat tacktics, i will also teach you some of the martial arts, and that is mandatory. ill also teach you some more with the daggers you have as well as show you the basics of one handed and two handed sword play. i tinhk id like to set you up with a pair of daggers," he paused and thoguht and the took her hands in his and felt the fingers, they wer slender and strong near the base. for a blade she would want a light weapon, "scimitar is more suited to your hand type."

Zahar felt him move her hand. His fingers moved across her skin and she shivered. Her mind faded away for e moment, she heard him suggest a weapon type, but she didn't know what to say. Her hands gained a thin layer of sweat and started to tremble slightly. That she knew of she wasn't afraid, just nervous. Taking in a deep breath she tried to steady her hands. I have only a little experience with my throwing daggers, I have never heard of these scimitars before. Could you decribe it to me? She closed her eyes again focusing on her breathing.

"is a thing blade that is narrow ar the hilt and widens woard the point. it is a curved blade that is solely a slashing weapon. i would teach you tyo fight with two weapons after we got you more comfortable with one. i think a main guache or stilletto would be best in hte left hand. they are effective for parrieing, especially the main guache and both can be a deadly throwing weapon."

Zahar nodded her hands holding his now tightly. I think I hear something. Then again I could be just frightened. Could you tell me more to keep my mind pre-occupied? Maybe a story about how you learned to use your weapons? She paused her skin flushing, probably showing a slight bit hotter. Or hold me close until I fall asleep? I feel a bit drained but I will be fine. It is silly of me to ask. I mean the pain and the magic usage are nothing. Turning her head away completely embarrassed that she suggested such a thing.

his ears were cocked sharp and one of his handwas on his katar on the opsite side of zahar, she had sharp ears to it seemed. he had heard something a while ago and was basically keeping minor tabs on it, should he tell her about it or not.... perhaps... how would she take it.. the truth is always best.. however.. he decided simply to not adress that point, "id be happy to telll you a story of some kind. anytihng in particular youd like to hear about? some grand adventuere? or one of pain or wonder? or riches and fame? or... well tis endless almost."

Zahar looked around in the darkness, still not seeing anything. I am almost certain that any story you tell me will be one of wonder. I would like to know more about your past. How about the first time you set off alone? Would that be an all right one? She turned her head away from where he was embarrassed slightly. You know telling about where you were headed and why?
