Yukimura Sanada stood in front of Demon Gate, Kyoto, and held up the black flesh stone. It had been about a day since his conquest of Japan, and it was time to see if all was going well in the other cities. Kyoto was in good care. Most of the prisoners were surrendering, and the ones that didn't were simply killed. At this point, there were too many to imprison them all. The civilians were, of course, given free reign, to do as they pleased, as was the original plan. Though they had to stay inside the boundaries of the law.
Yukimura's leg had completely healed with the help of a demon. That was the problem with so many people today. They failed to realize that there were good oni out there, as well as the bad. He shook his head and raised the flesh stone, holding it directly in front of the mirror. The surface began to fluctuate slightly, and then purple and black flashes began to emit from it's core. Suddenly, a hole in the mirror seemed to rip itself open, making a portal that revealed the location of its four counterparts. Yukimura stepped through, pocketing the flesh stone. He found himself in a large, round room, whose floor, walls, and ceiling seemed to be made out of pure flesh. He shook his head and laughed a little.
"Demons are such drama freaks," he said, stepping through the portal that would lead him to Honnouji.

He appeared on the other side in another grandiose bedroom, similar to the one in Kyoto. A man dressed in extravagant robes sat up from the bed he was resting on, facing Lord Yukimura.
"Ah, Lord Yukimura, we have bee-"
"That's Emperor Yukimura," he interrupted sharply, smiling a bit at his new title. Emperor Yukimura...he could sure get used to that.
"Yes, I am sorry my Emperor," the man replied, bowing low. He got back up and began to report on the situation. "As was notified in the white blast, we did manage to take the city, but also suffered heavy casualties in the process. Of the 2,000 men that came to take it, only 789 live. We humbly ask that you send reinforcments to help us keep peace within the cities walls and outside of them, should any remaining rebels manage to regroup and launch an attack."
Yukimura waved his hand, smiling a little. "Consider it done. I will send you the Oni Matsumane squad. I hope you have no objections to that?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. The other man looked frightened for a moment.
"Demons! Are you sure we can contr-" he was cut off again by Yukimura.
"They will obey you, just as they have obeyed me. Do not worry." He raised the flesh stone again, this time at a rug where he had stepped through. A similar procedure began to manipulate the rug, and when a portal appeared, he stepped through and warped back to Kyoto.

Yukimura appeared on the other side, a slight bit weaker. Though the Demon Gate was a nice conveinence, overusage of it would sap your strength he guessed. He walked ouside his room and called for an aide.
"Send the Oni Matsumane force to Honnouji to help quell rebellions and keep peace. Understood?" he told a messenger once he had appeared.
"It is done," the messenger replied, scurrying off to deliver the message.
"Now, about the other cities..." Yukimura said to himself, walking back to the portal with a glint of arrogance in his eye.

islanders_CO39 Dragula Kentuki walks over to rin and sits next to her. "So why are you in korea" Takon : "What the hells a pancake?!?!" Kentuki frowned seeing that she was sad. "So did he die?" He asks

He had taken Ranae and her horse to a clearing about 5 miles from the orc encampment. There was running water near by and josh found it a safe a place as any at this point in time. Josh was unhurt, and this amazed him, he had been near death and a miracle had happened, produced by ranae herself. He had wondered exactly what she had done, but in the end it didnt really matter, he was alive and so was she. The sword she used was still in the cloth he wrapped it in the night before, but josh could feel it calling him, begging him to wield it, Josh shunned the thought and returned his gaze back to ranae.

Ranae would wake for moments at a time before falling back into her deep coma- like slumber. Each time she would wake it seemed she would feel weaker than the last. As she slept her violent coughing fits would wrench at her frail body, making her throat feel so dry that she thought it might crack.

Josh quickly snapped his attention to ranae everytime h e heard her cough, she still seemed to sleep , so he didnt really want to wake her. He felt the sleep would do her good yet with every coughing fit he didnt know what to do, they seemed to be getting worse and they were still a hard ride from the dwarven caves. He decided to let her sleep and if she woke on her own accord he would deal with the situation.

Ranae slept restlessly, whimpering in her dreams as she relived the morning she had woken up to darkness. Complete and utter darkness. She had learned she would never be able to see the beautifull colors of the world again.
Her eyes shot open and Ranae sat up with a start only to fall back on the grass once more. This confused her for a moment before she remembered her weakened state. Un aware of anybody around her, Ranae rolled over, curling her body into a ball as she lifted her hand to muffle her coughs. When they resided, they left Ranae panting and clutching her burning throat.

He had come to attention when he had seen ranae shuffling around, He grasped a flagon of water that he had found around the horse and went to ranaes side.
"im here, i have some water.. drink it'll be better for you throat"
He whispered this so as not to startle her.

Yukimura stepped back in the Kyoto portal after having checked Honganji, the last of the four main cities besides Kyoto. All was well at the main cities, and the civilians were adjusting at a surprisingly fast rate, most likely due to the tumultuous government in the last four years. Yukimura was just about to unbuckle his red breastplate when a messenger rushed in, bowing low.
"My Lord, errr, Emperor! Rebels are attacking us from outside the city walls!"
"What?!" Yukimura roared, refastening his armor and running out the door. He grabbed his spear that was leaning against the wall on his way out, brushing dust off the blade softly while he ran to the Palace Stairs.

Ranae gasped as she heard Joshs words. She gratefully took te water and downed the entire thing. Her throat instantly felt like new. SHe then carelessly dropped the water flask and reached up to wrap her arms tightly around Josh's neck.
" Your..alive.." She whispered hoarsley, tears gethering in her eyes. She had been worried that her spell had not worked. She had never conducted in on more than a bird before. It was a miracle it had worked, and even more of a miracle that it hadnt killed her. She had expected it to. Her body shook with sobs as she held Josh in a tight hug, scared he might slip away with the wind if she let go.

He gladly accepted the hug from ranae, it had been a traumatising night, and the feeling josh wanted more than most was security.
He held her without moving as the world passed them by. He looked to her face and wiped some tears from her cheek.
"it is ok now, we are safe, if it wasnt for your magic last night i would surely not be standing here with you.. so for that i thank you"

Yukimura flew down the stairs and ran down the Main Street, straight for the closed city gates, which were being beaten on by a battering ram. A loud BOOM could be heard each time the head of the siege weapon contacted the gate, causing it to splinter every time.
"Open the gate! Let them in!" Yukimura commanded as he approached. "Draw your weapons and face the enemy!"
The gate guards looked very puzzled for a moment, but then did as commanded. The soldiers who battled yesterday began to huddle around the gate, waiting behind Yukimura for the gate to open. The guards pulled the levers as chains rose and fell, opening the gate. On the other side, a squadron of archers could be seen, arrows set and ready.
"Fire!" yelled the enemy ballista captain while Yukimura charged the bowmen, his army behind him. A volley of arrows aimed themselves at Yukimura, and he brought his spear to bear in front of him, twirling it around in his hands, deflecting the projectiles aimed for him.
"Attack while they reload!" Yukimura shouted, encountering the first group of archers, who were desperately trying to fit an arrow onto their bow. He cut through the lightly armored enemies, blood flying everywhere as his spear tore limbs and bodies apart.
