Koumaru I'm wondering what it would feel like to have an isolated viewpoint on life Safe. You don't ever have to worry about anything you don't understand. The world is everything you have ever experienced up until right now, and it can never be anything more than that.

As I expected, switching to Firefox 3 was a mistake. The address bar searches titles as well as addresses, and fails at prioritizing. Plus the font on the list of options is obnoxiously huge.
I don't know why I ever listen to him anymore. It's not like we actually ever try to help each other.

Layra-chan As I expected, switching to Firefox 3 was a mistake. The address bar searches titles as well as addresses, and fails at prioritizing. Plus the font on the list of options is obnoxiously huge. That was pretty annoying. I turned that s**t off.

Satil I almost cried in front of a patient today for the first time ever. My heart is pretty hardened. I can take a seriously high amount of ******** up and tragic stories from a lot of people. I had a 4 year old come into my office today and give me the most absolutely graphic description of extreme sexual abuse I have ever heard. She said it all with a blank face and finished with, "and then milk came out. It tasted bad so I threw up". Then her father proceeded to beat the s**t out of her for vomiting on the carpet. This account included a**l to oral. This started when she was 2 ******** years old. She had to get her perineum sewn up once. Her Mom said she did it falling off her bike. Then I asked her why she beat her foster brother's head on the floor (she gave him a concussion) and was often found choking him. She said, "that's what good Mommies do. It's how babies be quiet and learn to be good". I also suspect she has fetal alcohol syndrome. Some people should be ******** sterilized. I need a god damned shot now. Reminds me of that shitbag in Quebec that used to prostitute his daughter and make ***** pornography with her. At 4 years old, when the social workers showed up, she pointed to her bedroom and asked the 2 SW something along the lines of: "Are you firneds of my dad, are we gonna play love too?" scream Heurg.....

One guy who was in the union comitted suicide las Friday.
I didn't knew him that well but he was still some kind of a friend.
He was young too, 27-28...
sad
All of his co-workers and friends are deeply grieved.
And I am pretty sad...

It just hit me today, I lost 4 people in my life in the last 6 years. 3 suicides and 1 murder.

I've never been fond of lyrics at all, but seriously, do those drunken sots need to sing along? Why must the human voice carry so well?
I'd say they sound like fifth graders, but that might be because I'm under the impression that people usually stop singing along en masse to songs they don't know the lyrics or melody to after fifth grade. I could be completely mistaken about this, as evidenced by the people living two floors below me.

This is the person who had to listen to at least a dozen people shouting
"AWW SKEET SKEET MOTHA ********" repeatedly from the floor below (and then mumbling the rest of the lyrics).
Prior to that was a bunch of girls yelling the chorus of "Every Time We Touch". I don't know what the other things were. None of it was pleasant to listen to.
It turns out that large groups of people make it possible to rap off-key. I did not know this before last night.

Come on! Is humour out of it... sad I know it's funny, dear, but I was trying to write my thesis and the people downstairs really can't sing. And all of my roommates are music people, so I've just gotten used to hearing decent singing, so the trash from the room below was very grating. Also, they left beer cans all the way down the staircase to the second floor, so the stairway reeked of alcohol all week.
