Because they have little magnets in their feet that they can turn on and off whenevery they want. So when turned on, their feet are attracted to the ground and no matter what - they will always flip right-side-up.

it's just a piece of purple paper but since glue was on that paper when they tried to eat it, it got stuck to their tongue.
