Er, word.
I'm Eri and I'm from new york. I actually got into J-rock about 6 years ago, Plastic Tree was and still is my favourite band . Hmm, I try to visit home as much as possible but it's difficult because of school and money issues even though every time I go I always come back a few CDs richer and many yen poorer...
Anyway, so last time I visited I picked up Miyavi's album Galyuu and two Grimm CDs... I'm still trying to hunt down Fatima CDs. Ergh..

I'm Samm... I'm a big music nerd in general and my fave Jrock bands/artists include Miyavi, Dir en Grey, Bazra, Dorlis, D[di:], Porno Graffiti, RIPSLYME, The Back Horn, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, Zigzo. When I'm not listening to Jrock I like to rock out to East Indian folk music, new wave, and weird folk-type stuff. Fave non-Jrock bands include Galitcha, Morrissey, The Smiths, The Dresden Dolls, Laura Viers, Sebastien Schuller.

XxAshiraxX Hi i was new a while ago but never intoduced myself so People call my Kat im 15 turning 16 very soon, oct.6th, MY Favorite Bands are Dir en Grey, Gackt, Maiyavi, Kana, Malice Mizer and MUCC. 3nodding i've been on Gaia since Nov. 4 smile I love anime and Manga,And i have a Anime club that i started outside and inside of school im going to see Dir en Grey in concert next Year! somthing i can't wait at all for crying and staying about 2 months there, Im just starting to Study Japanese heart Welcome to the Jrock guild. Wow, 2 months? Lucky *only gets to stay 2 WEEKS* I'm already saving up >D A Dir en Grey concert? Sounds pretty fun, although I would much rather go to one of their old concerts than a present one ^.^

Hello. I am Karasu Mitsu. I am 17 years old. ^_^ I have one of the best b-days (April 1st). I am not new to Gaia... but I am new to this guild. One of my fav Jrock bands is Dir en Grey. Uhhhhh....... There are other bands I like, but I like to listen to other Jrock bands that are out there. I guess that's it. sweatdrop

hey, I'm rhia and I got into jpop/rock last year when I started waching Inu-Yasha and fell in love with the ending theme and then other anime themes, I know very little about modern j-rock/pop and hope to find a band I love.

Hello, as is to be expected I'm new. My name is Kasey and I'm from northern Indiana (not quite hickville, but close). I'm female, even though I have a boyish name.
I've been into J-rock for I believe five or six years now, having started with anime music. Maybe earlier than that, I don't know and it's not really important.
Right now my favorita bands/artists are Gackt, Miyavi, Dir en Grey, Malice Mizer, Kuroda Michihiro, Iceman, L'Arc~en~Ciel, hide, and Hyde. I'm also starting to get into Pierrot and Spiky, but I haven't listened to a lot of what I have of them yet. Of course I listen to other bands but right now those are my favorites. I'm always open to try new bands out.

Hiya. My name's Jackie, and I live in California. I'm 16 but on the 25th I'll be 17.
I've liked J-rock for only 2 years now and my all time favorite band is Malice Mizer, followed by Moi dix Mois. Can ya tell I'm a Mana fan? heart I have just recently begun cosplaying as Mana, and hopefully I'll become better at it.

I'm Caitlin, and obviously, I'm a new member. I got into j-rock about a year or two ago, but I haven't really been able to deviate from the Unholy trio of Malice Mizer, Dir en Grey, and X-Japan because, well, here in Kansas, there isn't much cultural diversity in music and finding other bands is rather complicated. I joined this guild to give me some insight into what is good so I know what to import. biggrin

Well, I'm ~Kai--Hiwatari~, you can call me Kai, or even Dante if you see me around, and I live in the south of England. With all the terrible weather, yadda yadda yadda.
I only got interested in J-Rock this year (7th May), and my first J-song was Cube by Gackt, still one of my favourites. And I like Gackt, and Malice Mizer. I'm trying to find other stuff too, so I listen to a couple Japanese streaming radios on the Net. Anyone know what time Gackt does his slot on that radio station.......? blaugh blaugh

Hello, my name's Angel Heero Yuy, at least that's my nickname..for short it's AHY. I'm currently 16 going to be 17 in February. Anyway, I've been a fan of Jrock now for four years. I highly enjoy the sound and LOVE the visual kei look. My favorites band/singer wise are Miyavi, Dir en Grey, Gackt, Pierrot, Psycho le Cemu, Schrawz Stein, Malice Mizer, Penicillin, Nightmare.....etc...
Though I like many various Jrock bands and thel ike I don't know much about all of them. I can safely say I am probably a more hardcore Miyavi, Dir en Grey, and Gackt fan.....but that doesn't mean I'm not an adoring fan of other bands I just may not of heard as much.
I simply love Toshiya from Dir en Grey....I really like the way he plays bass, and I just like his overall looks through time and just how he is from what I've seen/heard in interviews.
I own a few Jrock cds, and am working on getting more. I'd go with me listening to Miyavi the most, for he is probably my favorite artist to go solo....though I could say the same for Gackt, but I'd place Gackt more under J-pop.....or somewhere in between rock and pop in my standards. I'm not to picky when it comes to Jrock....I just love it, I listen to it as much as possible.
I'm looking forward to seeing whatever band will be playing at Acen this year..(Acen is a midwest anime convention in the US. ) Last year Miyavi was supposed to show, but due to complications he couldn't make it and SID came instead, they were amazing.

Well I'm Azamir and from Germany...
I got into j-rock and especially VK about one and half a year ago, i started with Malice Mizer, Dir en grey and Gackt, sort of.
Now my favourite band is Pierrot, and i dare say i know a little bit more than i did a year ago.
I (sort of) organise a VK-meeting in Munich, so... if you should happen to live there and would like to come, you are invitet^^
ehm... well, i don't know anything else to say... so i'll stop spamming^^
