Stephen shrugged and looked at her calmly. "Girl, None of us make any sense. It's something you have to get used to if you want us as your friends. You might end up completely insane if you hang around us for too long. Specially with Trace." he smiled and laughed a bit. "By the way, I don't think I ever caught you're name."

Anaiis laughed. It was true, this was a bunch of weirdos, but she fit right in somehow, so she didn't care. ((Her name? Could have sworn I said before...oh well.)) "Sorry, thought I told you before, guess I was just happy I met you all. Name's Kristalee Alicen Anaiis, but Joslyn and Trace call me Anaiis, so I guess you can call me that too."

(I think you said it to Trace and Joslyn but Stephen was never present to catch it.)
"Anaiis." he said slowly, as if finding some secret meaning in her name or for some other inexplicable reason. Then he grinned at her suddenly and offered his hand. "Pleasure to meet you."

He took her hand and moved it around in a flourish, motioning it under his mouth and kissed it. Then he started suppresing laughter when he saw her expression.

Shocked that Stephen really was a gentleman, and it was not just his "knight" act, Anaiis' eyes widened as he kissed her hand. No ones ever done that before, Anaiis thought. With her eyes now back in there sockets, she smiled shyly, turning slightly, and hiding her face in strands of her long, red hair. For some reason or another, Anaiis could quickly tell that her friendship with Trace and Joslyn was much, much different than her's with Stephen. She wasn't completely sure what was different just yet, but the small few butterflies she had and giggle she held back were defianly a clue.

Stephen slowly gave Anaiis back her hand and grinned widely, smiling back at her. He laughed now, unable to control the outburst any longer. "You should see your expression. You don't have a mirror anywhere, do you?" he said playfully as he took a strand of her hair between his fingers and moved it aside, peering into her face and smiling.

Softly letting that giggle out of her system, Anaiis gently shook her head. "No, no mirror. Sorry, to disappoint you," she smiled. I might be liking school after all, she thought to herself.

Toby entered, rubbing her temples. "gosh what a crazy day...sorry I'm late." she smiled at Stephen, "hey i havent seen you in forever!"

Anaiis turned to see Toby enter the Arena and yell out to Stephen. Turning back to Stephen, she frowned slightly and removed her hand from his, simply asking, "Do you know her?"

Trace smiled at Joslyn, then remembered something. "Oh, yeah. Just so you don't freak out... My right eye kinda... Fell out," he said, shrugging. He nodded towards the Hellhound, which was still sleeping peacefully, but had a small, yellowish lump laying on the ground next to it. "Not really a big deal," he said, chuckling. "Not like it was getting much use, anyway."

"ewwwwww," toby said, looking over at Trace "can i see it?! your eye socket? oh oh! iwonder if we can see you brain!" she smiled and folded her hands into the "please" position, "PLEASE!?"

Trace shook his head, laughing. "Never seen anyone so excited over something as simple as losing an eye." he untied his blindfold, showing off his newly- empty socket. "Just don't stick your finger in it," he warned seriously.

"THAT IS SO GROSS! Yet oddly awesome!" she looked into his eye socket, "awww you cant see your brain." she said in dissapointment, "thanks! that was cool!"
