I've always been of the opinion that if it enriches Roleplay more than it inhibits it, then it should be allowed. Being a "lion" seems interesting and causes no harm, so I'm personally in favor of it.
Unfortunately, I am no longer a moderator, and so my right to approve or disapprove profiles is presently in a political gray area. Making a call like this would be essentially dictating guild policy. I'd be crossing a proverbial Rubicon if I authorized this.

That clans restrict character creation by limiting what people are able to do within the respective clan?
