"Well actually I ended up lost in the woods and drenched with all that rain. Pushed the door open adn met a very excited boy named Khenu. Ran into Eclipse and was dragged into the library. Where lo and behold I met Aura. She invited me to stay and here I am." She reached out to sense the feelings going on beneath the surface. Feeling around the vampire first she sensed a deep need to protect and prove himself. She also felt love. There was no doubt in her mind that he loved Aura. And probably a lot more than she knew. She turned her senses to Aura. The same love simmered just beneath the surface. The knowledge made her eyes glow and a smile lifted her lips. "So, has he told you he loves you yet?" Turning to Vincent she said, Why don't we get out of this cold, cramped hallway and move into a more comfortable room. Say, the kitchen." So saying Nailah turned and walked into the kitchen.

Vincents eye twitched slightly at the comment, if he could have blushed, he most likely would have." yes the kitchen sounds like a wonderful idea" he said removing his arm form aura and fading into the darkness. "i'l see you two there" his voice called out from all around them.
Impath, i'l have to be more careful around that one He thought to himself as he appeard infont of the fridge, pulling it open and removing a contaner of thick red liquid.

Aura rolled her eyes. "Shadow walking...all the time..." She brushed a piece of hair from her eyes and walked her way to the kitchen, arriving at the kitchen a few minutes later than them both...she was walking slow with a limp to boot. Though she knew how to cover actions easily. She simply took a seat in her usual chair at the table, skipping up both wine and coffee. She was having that nauseous feeling again.

"Limping? It wasn't that much of a plane transfer. Pathetic girl. Never were very strong...bones so easy to break when I threw you around...remember that?"

She made an almost inaudible groan. Damn man was back again. Shaking her head she looked to the two in her company.

Nailah laughed. "Funny, sarcasm suits you. As for my love life..well that's the thing. Usually when you want to concern yourself with everyone else's you don't have one." She stopped as she sensed anger and a sadness in Aura. Concern darkened her eyes but she was careful to hide it from Vincent. "Actually I never met the right person. Still looking." Though as she spoke, she was thinking of Nadai.

Nailah stared at him in shock. "How did you..?" she sputtered. She took a deep breath and blinked back the tears that burned at her eyes. She quickly took a sip of wine and turned her attention to Aura. "Aura? Are you feeling okay?"

Vincent laughed at arua's statement. there's irony for you, telling me she can't lie to me then trying anyway in her next sentence he took another drink form the container before setting it beside him on the counter and making his way across the room to sit in the chair beside Aura. "family troubles?"

Nailah brooded into her wine. She thought about the name that hadn't been said in a long time. She felt a tear snake down her cheek and watched it plop into her wine. Staring at it she brushed her cheeks. Shaking her head she turned her attention back to the couple at the table. She decided she had better join them. Walking to the table she caught a small hint of the conversation but wisely said nothing. She sat down across from Vincent and said, "So Aura, is he a mind reader? I mean I'm sure he has other talents. Ones that have to do with personal-time, but is that one of his skills?"
