Getting guys = hard work and uber amounts of effort on both parts. If a guy is worth it though, he will work just as hard for you as you do for him.

*laughing about iko's post* actually iko is good example of what i'd consider abnormal, he has a lot of qualities that are pretty unique and he really doesn't care if other people agree. he probably doesn't even care that i'm saying this! gonk crying *runs away to cry in room*
i suppose point is, can we help who we're attracted to? but maybe what i meant more is... like.. many people will be like 'i'm attracted to an average guy, and hey, i can actually get him so i'll stick with that' when they should go for exactly what they want and not take a booby prize.

and that's exactly why i don't have a boyfriend...the guys i do like have no interest in me, though I must admit I did actually tell Jeremy my feelings, i just seriously doubt anything will come of it. and aso a random note with that...in Iowa City I am abnormal cause i don't drink, smoke, or have sex...so there blaugh

Nradova *shrugs* i'm one of those odd girls that never had an interest in them... *shrugs again* Neither have I, aside from sex with a guy I actually did fall in love with...which hasn't happened yet. And I'm not really looking for any one thing, I suppose. Just someone I can connect with as equals in a romantic way. And I've attracted enough shy guys that I know that's not working.

xD I'd say I'm pretty damn normal. Or at least pretty forgettable, anyways :/ I'm so mellow in real life D: I'm seriously not a party-type, and I don't think I could do anything on the wild-side without being a dream crusher.
As for attracting wild guys, it really depends on the individual guy, I think. Some of them get a bigger rush for taking a quiet person along with them. I suppose it's equatable to taking someone's virginity? While others would rather have other wild people with them.
You should try doing something at a local playhouse, Mers. A lot of those drama folk can be pretty interesting, definately not shy, and I've sorta' always got a theatre vibe from you o_o I could be totally wrong, though.

I should say, just so no one gets the wrong idea, that I have no problem with gay men (or lesbians or what have you) it's just very frustrating to see a charismatic, talented man and know that you can never have him. **sigh**
