islanders_CO39 Her gold eyes filled with tears as she turned back to the fire and wandered out to a stream and filled a bucket with fresh water and then divided it up. Half of it she boiled, the other half she kept cool. Going to one of her bags, she pulled out rags and carefully dipped then into the boiling water. She gently began to clean his wounds, careful not to hurt him anymore than he was.After she cleaned them, she took out the ointment that Kyo had used on her and she began to place it on Lin's wounds. She wiped the sweat from her forehead and then allowed her hands to glow violet and Lin's body did too as she began to close up the wounds.When they sealed, she wrapped bandages around them, just incase and then took out new clothes for him to wear. Carefully and gently, she dressed him in new clothing and once she was done she sat back on her knees sighing softly and kissing him on the forehead.
"The.......needles............"
He yelled out in pain again his wounds opening wider

She heard his screams which worried her even more as the black shirt she had put him in began to soak up in blood. She carefully took it off, tossing it to the ground and looked more closely at the wounds to see what looked like pins sticking out of them. Panicking, she pulled them out of each wound, trying to be as gentle as possible. She wiped up the blood with the hot rag, to prevent infection and to clean them as well. From there, she washed her hands and pulled out a loose, white shirt for him to where. She sat there patiently, hoping he would be alright, and believing the wounds would seal themselves.

An arrow flew out of the bushed and shot into his chest

Kyo heard the arrow coming , and he heard second, which he could tell was heading for Lin. He shot out a hand and caught it a foot from Lins chest, and in a splti second, he had taken out his sword and slached into the darkness. It was a single orc archer. he came back and threw the head on the ground near Lin,"Probably a straggler. most of the demons are gone now." he took out a magnifying glass, and looked at lins wounds," These are needles...demon made... i used to be in charge of their produstion. thier goal is to dripple not kill... and you should have no lasting damage. but drink lots of water." he sat under a tree staring into the fire.

Rayne decided to stay in the abandon orc camp and started to set up camp by gathering food. He sheathed his katana and sat down on a nearby wooden chair and decided to contemplate on the matters that have just occur for now. He exited the hut and stood there for moment to scan if all the orcs are gone. Seeing that all the orcs are gone, he decided to take a short break and sat down on a nearby stone.

A few miles out into the Korean ground, the wolves set up a base camp near a forest. They caught a few deer, and roasted them up in the fire. Kiyoshi offered some to Matsu, and he took it, no sense in wasting good food. He chomped on the delicious upper and lower fangs tearing into it, while the rest of his teeth turned it into little bits, then he swallowed.
After finishing his dinner, Matsu walked away from the base for a bit, going off and meditating in a forest. As he closed his eyes, he entered dream world, where he instantly met his daughter and the two of them talked for a bit.

She couldnt believe Kyo had just helped Lin. She sat by Lin's side for a little while, watching him sleep and making sure that he was alright and that he wasnt in anymore pain. She looked to Kyo and noticed the look on his face and she frowned, crawling over to him. She sat in front of him for a little while before she spoke "Are you alright Kyo?"

Kyo looked up at Rin,"Well im as well as can be exoected after I had to kill my own species... and having to safe the lfie of my mortal enemy a few times,"and he thought to himself,'And haveing to watch the girl i love with another man...but at least shes happy.' He looked into her eyes and than at his sword,"you fought very well today..."

She could hear his thoughts, having special abilities after all. Her eyes were almost hurt and they shined with tears and she swallowed hard. Her hands trembled slightly, and she didnt know what to do. Raising to her feet she turned from him and ran away from their campsite into the darkness of the forest crying.

Kyo saw Rin begin to cry and run off inot the darkness. he got up and ran after her, "RIN STOP!" he shouted, and eventually grabbed her arm,"what wrong...Lin is going to be fine." he said confused.

Ranae drearily opened her eyes and mumbled something that wasnt understandable. She was much too weak to move at all, and she didnt even try. It was a wonder she was still alive. Had it worked? Well it better have because she was supprized it did not kill her.
**flashback**
Ranae let out a choked sob as the tears that had pooled in her cromson eyes finally overflowed and began to stream down her cheeks. SHe squeezed Joshs pale clammy hand in her own shaking ones.
" No josh dont say those things..you have to stay awake..please stay with me.."
Her mind jolted to attention as his words finally hit her. The sword. Without explaining herself she bolted from the hut. As if the forest moved aside for her she ran straight to her horse without tripping or stumbling on anything. Upon reaching her horse, she wrenched Overlord free of the cloth she had wrapped it in and sprinted back to the hut with it. She could hear Josh's ragged dying breaths. The breaths that would have been his last. Ranae grasped the hilt in both hand. Her grip was so tight that her knuckles were turning slightly purple. As she steadily walked over to Josh's body and stood over him, she focused her everything on the sword, concentrating as she never had before. The sword hummed with anticipation. Ranae closed her eyes mouthing incantations and prayers. There was a good chance this would kill her, but she had lived a long life to its fullest, and if she was to die here then so be it. Ranaes blood went cold as her energy, her power, her everything coursed into the sword until her ears practiacally roared with the force the sword emitted. She raised the sword over her head and with her remaining droplet of strength swing it across Josh's torso and across his wound. Ranae then fell limply to the ground, almost dead, the sword falling next to her and clattering on the ground.

((ok dude u are an idiot, i said the arrow HIT my chest so you cant possibly stop it if its all rdy in my chest and first of all, hes a vampire, he doesnt need to eat or drink anythign except blood))
