Nailah sat up and yawned. It seemed like no matter how long she slept, she was never well-rested. She rubbed her eyes. Pushing back the covers she got up and went to go see who was up in the mansion. She opened her door and looked out, seeing Aura and Bastet, she walked out. "Hi Aura, Bastet." She looked and let out a squeal. "It's a cat! Bastet?"

Bastet smiled and put Kepi down. "To him I do no think that it is the fact that you are Egyptian. But I do like your theory. So are you getting used to the shadow powers?" Bastet turned to Nailah, "Yes, he is my cat Kepi. Be careful, he is jumpy."
Kepi looked to the next person to come and crouched down some against his masters leg, then catiously walked up to sniff Nailah.

Aura gave a wave to Nailah. "Evening to you as well." Turning back to Bastet she smiled again. "It's a nice analogy anyway. As far as my shadow powers go...it's a slow process..."

Nailah leaned down and allowed the cat to sniff her hand. "You're a beauty. I wonder if you'll get along with my princess, Rasui. She can be a little territorial though." Looking up at Bastet she said, "So the cat finally got a cat of her own. Where did you find him?" She blinked and gave a sideways glance to Aura. Shadow powers? Aura? When did that happen?

"I picked him up in a village near where I was training, he was in bad shape so I kept him in my room till now. He's is cute for a cat with slightly weird calico markings, but he's pretty." Bastet twitched her own ears in amusement as she watched Kepi.
Kepi sniffed Nailah's hand longer than he had sniffed Aura's because he smelled another cat with Nailah's scent. After he was done he looked up at Nailah with inquisitive eyes, then rubbed up against her to leave his own scent.

"Yes you are a sweetheart. Of course Rasui will be upset, but she'll get over it." Nailah reached a hand down and stroked the cat's soft silky back. "Hopefully they will become friends. I hate to see a catfight between them, although it could be entertaining."

Aura leaned back against a wall and sighed, trying to relax for at least a moment. That didn't last long however as she slipped completely through the wall and into an unoccupied room. Moments later the door to said room opened and Aura stepped out, clearing her throat. "Right...have to be careful...."
"Haven't you learned by now you stupid girl? Showing your flaws again? What am I going to do with you!"

Nailah turned to say something to Aura and her eyes widened as she fell through a wall. Literally. Nailah blinked but her eyes weren't deceiving her. Aura came walking out of a door moments later. "Um Aura, is there something you want to tell me? I mean last time I saw you, you couldn't fall through solid walls, but then I haven't been here that long."

Bastet chuckled and Nailah, "Sure, let's have our cats fight to the death, that would be interesting." She shook her head, "Hopefully that wont happen." Bastet watched Aura fall through the wall and wlak out of the door of the room, "Well, it will get easier with time I suppose, are you alright?"

She laughed nervously. "Just shadow powers Nailah, long explaination..." Looking to Bastet she smiled. "Not easier, and it still hurts when I do it. I just seem to be able to pass through shadowed walls easily. But I'm fine, or will be eventually."

"No, the powers will get easier to control over time." She shifted and dug a claw into the floor, "And hopefully less painfull as well. I mean does it hurt Saradin to do it?" She smiled some then, "Or at least do not lean against walls, you never know who's room you might pop into."

She chuckled. "I'm sure I'd find myself in situation I won't like wouldn't I?" Aura sighed. " I can only hope they're easier to control...and no it doesn't hurt Saradin, or Eclipse, or Vincent to shadow walk...only me."

Nailah listened to the conversation and began to think. Why could Aura shadow walk now? Maybe it had something to do with this Vincent Aura had been seeing lately. "I really want to meet this guy. He seems to be persona non grata around here with the males." Nailah looked at Aura, "Could it have something to do with darkness? I don't know about Vincent, but Eclipse and Saradin are both made from darkness."

Aura thought for a second. "Darkness never bothered me before...but that is a good point. And Vincent. He's a vampire, a child of darkness if you will so it doesn't bothe rhim at all."

"Did it hurt them in the beginning? If it did then it could be because you are new." Then she thought for a moment, "We could research it, that seems to answer a lot of questions. It is good to hear you laugh though, you have not done that in a while."
Kepi sensed emotions and went over to Aura to stand on his hind paws and lean Aura's leg with her front paws. He looked up at her and mewed.
