The battlefield started to be filled with the stench of burnt charcoal and orc carcasses. Rayne notice that he finished up the battle that was on his side of the field. Rayne stood there for moment seeing that the orcs were retreating and decided to walk over towards his companions that were in the hut. He brushed off some dust that was on his clothes and approached them in a calm manner. He noticed that Josh was in pain when he entered the hut, but was bandaged. He looked around and analyzed the area seeing that the orcs were all retreating.

Dragula Sidnay \ Kyo looked up at Takon,"I dont know shes seems distant...she needs rest." Immmediaely Kyo wrapped Rin in his cloak and began to start a fire. Once the fire was made he sat near the fire. He looked at the items in the sack taking ou old trinkets and samll viles. carefully putting them back in the bag once he was done looking at a specific item. (Edited) Lin came out of the shadows bloody, his pants ripped his shirt missing and his chest ripped open by several slashes, he walked over to rin and kneeled down, his hands glowed white and he healed her fully, he then fell back almost knocked out from the battle he had

"I need to get back to a healer, the closest one....... is in the mountains where the dwarves are... i dont know if i could make it there.... well my life was lived well.. and .. i died a warrior... and with you by my side.. i dont think i could have wanted much more..."
Josh still had life in him but he would be dead within the next half hour.
He looked as if he was concentrating on not letting the pain override him and he let out a smile.
"what was that present you... wanted to give to me?"

Rayne stood there in silence contemplating on the situation that they were in, trying to come up with a basic strategy to help them get to the mountains quickly. He stood in deep thoughts still figuring out the shortest way to get there. He looked around trying to find another shortcut that can lead them back to the dwarven cave. He exited the hut to check if any of the orcs were nearby and found that all of them had retreated.

Ranae shook her head, letting out a strangled sob.
" No..dont say those things you..you have to stay with me.."
She instantly remembered Overlord, the sword she had stolen from the dwarves. She dashed from the hut, running as fast as she could back to her horse. She found it a bit strange that she never tripped or ran into anything, but she didnt care. SHe wrenched the sword from its place on her horses back and ran back to the hut. There she stood over Josh. Holding the sword in both her hands. SHe transfered all of her energy to the sword and slashed across him, heling his wound. She then fell to the floor beside him, unconcious.

She opened her eyes when she felt them stop burning and she had to blink a few time so things wouldnt be blurry. She looked to her surroundings trying to figure out where she was and what happened. Sitting up slowly, she found herself wrapped up in Kyo's cloak and that even though she had been healed, she was still sore. She looked to her left and saw Lin lying there and she crawled over to him kneeling by his side. When she spoke to him her voice was soft and gentle, almost in a whisper. "Lin?...Can you hear me?"

Josh had seen ranae with the sword, that which he had longed to posses.
He had also seen ranae slash him with it, yet he hadnt felt the incinerating pain which he was sure it would bring. Instead a feeling of warmth wrapped around his body. He looked down to his wound and noticed hte blood had stopped seeping and that it was closing up, josh also felt his cheek and noticed that, that too was healed.
He looked to ranaes slumped body and realised she must of cast a spell on the sword to do the opposite of what it normally does, so when she slashed him it healed instead of hurt.
The sword lay beside her, the one he had wanted with a passion, he went to grasp it, but shook his head slowly and rolled ranae over to see if she was ok.. she was unconcious but apart from that it seemed she would live.
He took the cloth that was around his old wound and wrapped the sword in it. He took ranae over his shoulder and carried the sword in the other hand, then he took her to her horse.

"Rin...........please............help me..................."
He fell back down, the slashes on his chest stayed open and bleeding, his shirt was missing, his pants ripped down to shorts and still ripped more his legs bleeding from several cuts, his arms each had a huge slash on them and just like the ones on his chest they weren’t healing and kept bleeding.

Rayne stood there at the entrance of the hut and said in a calm voice " Is everyone alright beside of minor wounds." He looked around seeing that the elven sword was on the floor and thought to himself for a moment. He looked around and analyzed the situation saying once more in a polite voice " We should rest for a moment."

Her gold eyes filled with tears as she turned back to the fire and wandered out to a stream and filled a bucket with fresh water and then divided it up. Half of it she boiled, the other half she kept cool. Going to one of her bags, she pulled out rags and carefully dipped then into the boiling water. She gently began to clean his wounds, careful not to hurt him anymore than he was. After she cleaned them, she took out the ointment that Kyo had used on her and she began to place it on Lin's wounds. She wiped the sweat from her forehead and then allowed her hands to glow violet and Lin's body did too as she began to close up the wounds. When they sealed, she wrapped bandages around them, just incase and then took out new clothes for him to wear. Carefully and gently, she dressed him in new clothing and once she was done she sat back on her knees sighing softly and kissing him on the forehead.

Tahaya ran to fast and pain no attention to the pool of purple ooze infront of him. He feel into it and a light shined brightly from it. What was left was Tahaya's and Kino's image, incased in a thick, almost unbreakable ice. They had died, yet their spirits were trapped in the ice.
