most of them drink animal blood, though they also drink from volunteers, at least the good vamps do...bad vamps...well they could care less about people and think of them only as food or for breeding purposes...and yes Amy's vamps can breed *evil giggles*

1. So that the next part of this post doesn't ruin it, I think you look really beautiful in that picture Panda, and so does Tai. <3 Your four-year-old cousin looks so cute!!! She's got such a cute dress on too!
2. Here comes the good bit. Everyone listen up! Especially you, Nra. stare
I'm usually pretty quiet, but being as I’m actually deeply offended by all of this carrying on and being a passive b***h sucks, I’m going to be an active one.
Look woman, vampires are a certain way for a reason. They’re mythological creatures with defined parameters which is why we recognise them in old stories just as we do now; just as mermaids have to have tails, sirens need to lure sailors to their deaths and so on. Anything else is just blasphemy and I don’t stand for blasphemy. Vampires are a religion for me and unless you want me to talk about how Mormonism is a legally defined cult with leaders that break US laws, you’d best step off of the subject and do some research.
P.S. Sade is a girl’s name pronounced Sha-day like the 80s contemporary singer of such hits as Smooth Operator, unless she got it from the Marquis de Sade (Mar-KEE deh Sah-d), the father of modern day perverted sex and fetish, generally understood to have been one of the most amoral men in history. End.

we have had a program on here called umm.. 'the man with 80 wives' and in fact the tv guide explained that's the president of church of jesus christ of latter day saints things.... i thought 'ha... its ridiculous.' and also i really think that some place which suggested polygamy is so cool but not polyandry must be pretty shitty style to be in.
yasa's degree in psych and hil's in anthropology makes for some very anti religious cultiness.
actually i have some crackhead stories about moonies too, so let's all throw them into the pot!

ok note to self, dont' share creativity and my friends stories with ya'll...I wasn't denying anything about traditional vampires, and I had no intention of offending anyone. I simply wanted to share something that was exciting to me. Forgive me for doing so, perhaps I should just shut up now about my friends and our creativity...

Actually, forget that, I'm making an entirely new post and journal on this one.
1. First of all, you can share your friend's "creativity", but once you realised about a page ago that it did offend someone, you should have stopped. But you continued, and decided to bring up all manner of features of Amy's false-vampires that would further offend anyone that had spent time researching proper vampires. For that, you are not forgiven.
How would you feel if I were to state that Joseph Smith was a liar and an alcoholic? And then further follow that with the fact that he was failed to make over 30 accurate prophecies, manufactured a religion based solely on an incident wherein medical authorities at the time were convinced was a result of laudanum addiction and hallucination, and then be so bold as to say, "oops, sorry about being creative, I guess you just can't handle how brilliantly my friend can corrupt a mythological creature, so I'll stop now *rolls eyes* "
2. Amy's fabrications are not vampires in any sense of the historical, literary or mythological word. In fact, I would say that they are an adjustment of the following belief:
"These are the messengers of the Lord, and are spoken of in the epistle to the Hebrews as 'ministering spirits'. We learn from latter-day revelation that there are two classes of heavenly beings who minister for the Lord: those who are spirits and those who have bodies of flesh and bone. Spirits are those beings who either have not yet obtained a body of flesh and bone (unembodied), or who have once had a mortal body and have died, and are awaiting the resurrection (disembodied). Ordinarily the word 'angel' means those ministering persons who have a body of flesh and bone, being either resurrected from the dead (reembodied), or else translated, as were Enoch, Elijah, etc. (D&C 129)".
These vampires you speak so highly of are little more than Mormon 'angels' suffering from bloodlust. Or rather, a lack of bloodlust being as they should not experience sexual gratification.
3. As to your later post further concerning what Amy's vampires can do:
i) A vampire is an animated corpse. It cannot breed. There is no power of regeneration within a vampire or an angel, or any other creature that was once human, but not any longer.
ii) A vampire requires enough viable living human blood from one living human being within one night of existence as to kill said victim. Or in other terms, a few rats and some donated sips won't cut it.
iii) These supposed protectors's of humans resemble more closely what is referred to as a 'Medieval Revenant' or a familial zombie.
iv) I have read a novel about alleged creatures like this before and was dismayed to discover that it was spoken highly of by several religious groups. From what you've mentioned of Amy's work, it would appear that she too has read this unfortunate book.
For a further listing of what constitutes a vampire, maybe you should read my journal. A little research helps when one is writing, sparks the creativity better.

Akai,
I hadn't realized that I had offended you, I claim stupidity on my part for that I tend not to read posts as well as I should sometimes. I somehow knew you wouldn't forgive me for it but I still ask your forgiveness, as for what you said about my religion. I know the truth and so what you say matters little to affect my belief. As for Vampires and Amy's stories, they are not based from any books but her own imagination, and her own mythology and that is all I am going to say about that. I will not try to justify myself simply stating that I had not meant to offend and will no longer speak on the matter and hope that you can see past it and not completely hate me for my blunders.
Nra.
