Lexi's body curled slightly into a crescent-moon type shape, her tail swinging impatiently back and forth. She let her ears lay back against the sides of her head and lifted her lips in a silent growl of disgust at Morrigan.
You wanna' bet money on that? she snorted in her mind.

Morrigan glared behind him at Liam, but when he opened his mouth to speak Felix cut him off.
"It's not that simple boy." Felix muttered, "He's not the one who can break the contract."

Lexi glowered over at Felix, her tail twitching once in building fury. The fur around the scruff of her neck where Morrigan suspended her in midair was beginning to crystalize with frost.

That's enough..
The second Lexi's paws hit the earth, she lurched forward and clamped her teeth Morrigan's right ankle. She bit down on it, hard.

Lexi spat out the fleshcicle and ran a serpentine tongue over her razor-sharp teeth. She let out a growl, the hair on the back of her spine rasing dangerously.
