Bastet held out the amulet to him, "It says Manu on it, but it resembles the amulet Rashidi had. It has the symbol for someone high in priesthood, but most of the other markings are rubbed off." Her own temper flared, "I am going to kill him somehow, he should have died years ago. I remember killing him!" She took to pacing again furious and feeling caged knowing that the vile creature is lurking somewhere and has waited all this time to surface.

Eclipse set the dragon down gently. "This is why I'm a cat chaser, not a dragon chaser." He slacked a feathered wing over top the creature, still in the mood to bother it. "Be happy Vik in is Aurahkah's favor." He snorted and twitched his tail.
Aura rolled her eyes. Luckily Eclipse was an easy one to get out of grudge, most of the time and the earlier spat with Vincent and the wolf had been put out of mind it seemed for now.

"Jackal, go find Aura..." Torrigan spoke quietly, he had to stay calm.
Jackal sniffed along the ground, yes, it was eclipses scent, he also smelled Lady Aura. He ran off barking, hot on the trail. Torrigan knew something, maybe now they could all be free

Munalisk got up and brushed himself off. He took a deep breath and changed into his Gaurdian form. He snapped sharklike in fron of Eclipes's face. "What? Don't you like me?" he said grinning, revealing rows of sharp teeth.

Bastet left the room after Ranjin. "He wont wait much longer. He has sparked our memories, he is coming. There are those in the mansion versed in the ways of darkness. We can seek them out, but we can not wait long."

Eclipse flared his wings to their eight foot span, pinned his ears and bared his own teeth in show to match that of the larger Munalisk. "Oh I absolutely love you Munalisk. But I'm top guardian around here..." He relaxed his posture and sauntered to Aurahkah where he curled around her in a mock protection stance. "And I get to guard a beautiful woman to boot."
"Charmer...It truly is a good thing that you aren't' a man. You'd be a skirt chaser, no doubt about that." She laughed and smiled.

"Stay out of it Vik. This is personal." He flew out the door and came back a few minutes later, carrying a box. Inside were two bluish eggs. "These are Laputan chicken eggs. They hatch 3 days after coming in contact with something living. Here's the challenge. We each take an egg and gaurd it until they hatch."

One of Eclipse's ear flattened a he stared at the eggs in the box then sniffed them. "That doesn't seem hard...I mean come on it's a chicken egg! Just blue...eggs are easy to take care of."
Aura closed her eyes and shook her head. "Oh Guardians..."
"You should learn to take challenges as well. Stupid girl."
Eclipse laughed again. "What's the catch about these things?"

"Oh right, I forgot to mention. Here are some rules. Were aloud to try and break the other's egg as long as their not sleeping or something important. Were not aloud to hide the eggs. Or swallow it. Or give it to someone else. If you do that, the three days start all over again! You can set the egg down somewhere if you want but it's best if you carry it around. So, You up for it. It begins when we both touch the eggs."

"Alright sounds fun! And if we both win, hey we can start up a new challenge!" That said, Eclipse carefully grabbed an egg from the box with his jaws gently and walked back over to Aura to stand next to her. "Hope you can hold on to that thing you little squirt."He took the pride in the advantage of not having to move his jaws to talk.
Aura laughed. "Well Vik, seems these two have similar tastes for challenges."

Munalisk grabbed his egg at around the same time Eclipes grabbed his. "So it begins." He tossed the egg up in the air and caught it. "Good luck trying to walk with a delicate egg in your hand my four-legged friend."

"This used to be a game played a lot back when I was still at home. The egg is supposed to simmulate a person. If you tap it, the three day count starts all over again. If you smash it, you automatically lose. The only way to win is to treat this egg the same way you treat your master."
