I hope you go well 3nodding

Yeah well I didn't imagine I'd be going after this job, but as they sey, Carpe Diem. xd

I'm jealous of Mel though. Earning $25 an hour as a tutor.

I got paid $70 for working for 3 hours a couple of weeks ago. I thought I was only gonna get like $35 but I was wrong! I've got no idea how much I'm supposed to be getting... It seems to be a different amount every time. I'm not complaing though. It's cash in hand and a good fun job. Any money is good money.

Umm this is my decorating job.

I don't work at Big W anymore and Green Corps was a government allowence thing.

That was a Government job? I'd love to do it at some stage, I think.

I don't ever remembering you having a decorating job.

Pfff. I've had this job for like 3 years now! But it's not an official job... I'm not technically employed by them and only get cash in hand. It's very off and on, because it's really a seasonal thing. Like sometimes I'll go for half a year without doing anything, then as soon as spring starts there's weddings just about every weekend.

It's good stuff. I didn't even have to do anything to get the job, I was asked if I wanted to do it. Gotta love that. So yeah, I'm happy to help them out whenever, but it's not a steady income.

*sighs heavily* sweatdrop

I confess I was not offered a place at the interview session this morning. I think I must have failed the aptitude test. The supervisor said my English diction was good and my typing skills were excellent, but my voice was indisitnct and he could barely hear what I said. I must have been way too nervous and stuttered too much.

Oh well, they did say I could try the test again. sweatdrop

Ah bad luck Mini, at least you did well in the other sections. If you really need the job, you can improve where you failed and try again.

interviews are scary, its ok to be nervous, just dont let em know you are. you wanna let em think you're uber confident and s**t.... confidence ftw!!

It was a strange form of interview. You just had to read the questions on the screen to the person being questioned and then type down their answers as soon as possible. And the microphone headset I was given was in an awkward position,

Aww too bad Mini. Better luck next time eh?
I have a stupid probelm when I'm nervous or have to speak infront of crownds/strangers. I get this bright red rash that starts on my neck and travels up my face. It's terrible! and there's nothing I can do about it except try to ignore it and like... wear a balaclava.

At least you can fix talking too quietly 3nodding

Unfortunately that's a problem I can't fix easily, even though I've tried many times. sweatdrop I've got quite a serious stuttering disorder that most times I can hold down but at other times it flares up so bad that it takes me a long time just to start a new sentence. When I do manage to blurt a sentence out I have to speak really quickly or else I loose my concentration and I have to struggle to speak again.

This morning my stutter was at one of its worst levels. sweatdrop

Sam: I'm not travelling to Brisbane just to get work washing dishes. stare
