"yeah its a very strong liquer, just let it take hold, all your pain will go away. we will be goin soon im goin to prepair the leather wraps for the smoked meat," he walked over to the alcoves and threw in some fine wood shavings an then walked back to zahars side and sat down pulling out some very thin leather squares and some twine. and set about cutting measured lengths of the rope.

Zahar nodded and immediately regretted the movement. Her head felt like it was swimming in a strong tide. Placing her hands flat on the ground on either side of her to keep her steady she turned her gaze to SK. Eyes growing wider as she watched his body and muscles move. It seemed so facinating. He knew so much about surviving, everything she didn't know for herself. Without worrying that she was staring she continued to watch him. It was a good thing the mask was on or her mouth would be hanging open and she would catch flies. Time passed and she wasn't sure how long it had been but it seemed he was near done. Just a few more moments and then I will look away, she thought to herself.

Kataio nodded and followed behind Aricin. "Would you like me to lead? I believe I may almost see better right now with out the torch light in front of me." Kata placed a hand on his shoulder lightly. "And how are you doing with injuries? Anything I can help you with, or that we need to fix up some more before we head out further?" Her eyes scanned his body, enjoying what she could see guiltily.

he glancd side long at her a few times and she didnt even notice. hmm. thses beings must have a much weaker constitution, and this young woman in particular. i knew a couple swigs would take away the pain but i takes at least for 4 most humans to pass out. oh well, least she wont have a hang over most likely, but he was glad he hand suggested 3 sips
after a time she was still stareing at him and he got up and went over to retrieve the meat, "ill get us ready k?"

"I don't think I broke anything or need any stitches." His voice carried faint regret, almost as though he wanted to give her the excuse. Stepping back to allow her to proceed him, "You injuries look rather superficial, anything you want me to look at?"

Zahar jumped back to reality. I am very sorry. How rude of me. She blushed and turned away. He had caught her. Oh how she wished she had looked away sooner. This would make him think less of her for certain. She went oranger thinking about how he looked, the memory still fresh in her mind. he was getting the meat and could hear him moving around but with the swaying of her body and her embarrassment Zahar didn't want to look over again.

Kata smirked facing him and the torch light. Her eyes gleaming their silver at him. "I just have a sore shoulder right now. I probably put it out of place or something. If I set it I am sure it will be fine if not then it will take a bit longer to heal. As for the rest of me... well I have a fast healing rate. Should have seen me when I first woke up." She shrugged with one shoulder. "Didn't look quite as bad as you but I still was not a healthy girl" Kaaio had her back to the path they would be heading down.

" its fine lass, jsut fine, you've been stareing for near 15 minutes and its the booze doin it, im sorry too, i should have guessed it would hit you way harder then most humans or me for that matter. however, you will be fine," he was gather the meat and packaging it now as he spoke, "so dont worry about it, ill be ready to go soon, if you have to releive yourself now is the time."

Zahar signed to him, I do not believe that it is just the alcohol. To be quite frank with you I have been stealing glimpses of you for sometime. She started to sway in longer archs. Her neck and hands still showed quite a bit of orange pigment. It was better to be truthful, she thought breifly. Leaning back slightly she toppled over. No more balance for the Zahar. Squirming slightly she tried to get up, her hand landing on the dagger that SK gave her to eat with. It sliced the side of her hand in a small line. She winced and looked down her side to the dagger then raised the hand that got cut. It was not deep but some of her blood seeped out. Oh, how could I have forgotten that.

Aricin stepped up to her and gave the stationary shoulder an precise squeeze to gauge the damage, and taking the oportunity to touch her, "You just jammed it real good, it'll probobly be stiff for a while." Stepping back the torch light accentuated the faint blush creeping up his face. extending his arm again he used light pressure to turn her towards the path and nudge her forward. "You see anything mean let me know ok?"

he blinked when he saw this and quickly removed the rest of the meat an set it aside tearing another strip off his shorts knowing they would mend. he wraped this around her hand many times to stem the blood flow from the small cut, "see, no pain at all, but," he took the knife away and tossed it beside the others,"ill keep them away from you for now. oh, and you arenet exactly great at hiding your glances, esspecially since we are the only two people around," he laughed, " i will finish packing and we will be on our way."

Kataio nodded and headed out, trying to ignore the blush for Aricin's sake. "If it is only a minor injury then I shall be fine in a few hours at the most. Should we talk as we walk?" She peeked over her shoulder as she moved out. Eyes blinking to adjust to the torch light again. Then turning to look back into the darkness of the tunnel. The Maqurade people mush have been skilled at stone work. many tile pictures were along the walls many of them cracking due to roots or water damage. Maybe this was part of their history? "What do you make of the walls as well Aricin?"

Zahar watched fascinated aagin at how the bandaged moved around her hand and the feeling of the cloth and his warm touch. She looked up into his blue eyes, noticing for the first time that there was a slight bit of green within them. Her blush deepened again at his comment that she wasn't being that subtle. This was probably another one of those moments. Trying to sit again she signed to him with great difficultly, I am sorry for my stares. I have seemed to lost all my manners with my memories of the past. Or maybe it was running off that made them go. Zahar looked confused at herself and then back up to sk before flopping down again. It was difficult getting up.

"stay seated while i gather everything, and dont be sorry, you have every right to do as you please," he gathered all of the equpment and supplies and now th added meat. he looked to zahar everyonce in a while to make sure she was ok and not trying to talk to him.

Zahar nodded once staring up through the tree tops at the passing clouds. She thought of almost nothing at all. or maybe she was thinking too much to hear them all. Holding up both of her hands she stared to point at clouds pretending they were different animals and shapes. Alone in her own little world she probably would get quite a start if SK decided to move close to her again. Zahar didn't even hear him moving anymore. Humming a tune in her head she tilted her head slightly back and forth with no particular beat.
