Nanako Sighing, Nanako knew she'd be met with such a reaction, yet it did not help to ease the pain of being spurned by one she hoped to get closer to. "Gwynne, you fight too hard. Sometimes, yeilding is the way to power, knowledge, and to what you seek. You can surrender without giving up."
She knew her words would only anger Gwynne, and so she turned to leave after speaking her mind. She didn't want to fight with her friend, or anyone for that matter. She had more then enough of such things in her life thus far to satiate any need for it.
Besides, Darz and Denath still needed to be checked on. Better to go where she was wanted then loathed. A minute after Nanako had left, Gwynne looked up. Blood and ashes, I didn't want to hurt her... Giving up on her futile attempts to reach saidar, she sought out Nikoru and Darz. Coming up behind them, this time making sure she was heard, she addressed Darz. ~A'es din, I pray the High Seat looks well upon these words I speak to you in shame, with my honor in your keeping.~ It was an apology, phrased so formally and with such emphasis that Gwynne had just promised to give herself to the Shadow if Darz did not forgive. It was a thousand times a thousand times too strong for her previous rudeness, wording that the Forsaken could have used to beg Lews Therin Telamon's forgiveness for their crimes, yet they were the only words of apology in the Old Tongue that would come to her. "Nikoru Sedai," she added, in a tone of strong respect, "may I speak with you also?"

Glancing over at Gwynne, an eyebrow slightly raised, Nikoru inclined her head.
"I was meaning to take leave of Darz for now anyhow. He needs to ready himself for the day, I believe."
With a slight grin at the man, she walked off a bit, to give Darz the space he needed, and she motioned for Gwynne to follow.
"Speak your mind."

Jazral chuckeld "Prehaps we will wait alittle then" Jazral looked over as denath exited his tent Jazral called him over as Denath looked their way. as Denath stoped just short of him and Selene "Tell me Denath, are you feeling well enough for alittle training with the sword? If not its ok I do not want you pushing yourself after an injury like that"
He turned and looked at Selene and smiled "Denath there is a sword in my saddle bags. please feel free to use it, if you do not have one" Denath shook his head and ran off to get his fathers sword Jazral grined at Selene. "It's been a long time Sence we've done any sparing..." he laughed and licked his fangs jokeingly "Think you could best me?"

If it weren't for the seriousness in Gwynne's appology, Darz may have chuckled at the rediculousness of it. To him, she needn't appologize. She had no way of telling exactly what he and Selene were talking about, and he has no idea of how right she is about his revealing himself. Darz figures it best to, simply, not linger on the subject. Afterall, what he knows tells him it best not to guess what he doesn't (yeah...like that makes any sense ^_^; ). Heaving a sigh, he looks at Gwynne with honest eyes.
Lady Gwynne. You needn't give me any appology, least of all one so strong. I fear, however, you may have to appologize to Lady Selene.
Tempted to add that they were both behaving like children, Darz stops himself plenty short. To tell the truth, he's reminded of the tiffs between Ar'lannia and himself. That brings a smile to his face. As a show that Darz isn't dismissing Gwynne's appology, he weaves another very simple illusion. This time, a blue rose takes seat in Gwynne's hair. This weave is carefully crafted as to not be dected now or in the future as it will stay until it is forcibly revoked by himself or another channeler. It can even be held and moved about, never wilting or withering.
You are quite forgiven. Now then...if you'll excuse me...
Not giving an explaination, Darz begins moving to a more private locale. He very much will be setting up an Illusion Wall as to not be seen while he's washing up, but he still needs to ensure that nobody sees where he sets it up so they might break it. Darz has no idea just how much his behavior, specifically his free use of saidin, may well be revealing of himself. In anycase, he makes a careful pace and looks as if he would prefer nobody follow him. For now, he starts weaving strands of, only, Water. What appear to be ribbons of water begin to trail behind him as Darz prepares to make a pool of water where he's going. It will take a bit to gather enough water with how slowly he's going about this weave.

Selene laughed softly at him, "What are you admitting you're getting rusty? Maybe Denath can teach you a thing or two." Winking she hugged Jazral for putting her back into a good mood. "You might want to take this away from the camp area, we don't need a way-ward sword to cause another injury."
Normally she would have suggested a wooden practice sword, but since none were to be had, she didn't think twice of using real ones. Selene looked around their camp, "Either we scrounge some food up between us here or we ride in to Tear and buy some at the market. One way or the other though; people need to eat."

Jazral grinned as Her and Selene walked towards the edge of the camp "Oh...I dont know...maybe a few people could use a way ward sword. And no I'm not getting rusty." Jazral slid his scimitar out of its shieth as they walked. "As for food I have little left, and its just cured meat and a few coins...prehaps we could contact the tower and have some funds allocated to us..but then again that might raise some questions on why we need the money...Im not sure how much money you have left in your purse but I think soon we'll all need to start finding a way to get some more money. Although I suspect most of will ride into tear with markus to deliver this letter of his." Jazral let out a sigh " might even join then...I thought alot last night and prehaps it might be a good time for a...family reunion"
Jazral waited in the open as Selene went to get her sword and denath came back with his Fathers sword "Well Denath is seems your going to get to see a sparing match between me and Selene Sedai. Watch and learn. then ill start teaching you some simple forms and such."

Selene tried to hide a smile, "I have plenty of coin... Don't worry about that part." Before Jazral could ask she had gone off for her sword. It was light but sturdy and had a rose pattern from the hilt to the tip of the blade, it was elegant but deadly, much like it's owner. As she came back towards them she un-sheathed her sword as well and then set the sheath down on the ground.
"Am I up first?" She asked with the usual haughty grin she wore during a competition, it usually threw off her opponent and Jazral knew she smiled to throw them off, so she doubted it would catch him but Denath didn't know that plus it was a habit now.

Gwynne blinked at Darz's words, then mentally stepped back and reviewed what she'd said to him. Her first reaction was to blush deeply, and despite the three better reactions which occurred to her almost immediately, that was the one that she exhibited. I meant to apologize, but not like that! Ever since she had met Nanako in Tanchico, she had been acting less and less like herself in many ways, and it had gotten much worse since the battle with Immorys. What's happening to me anyway?
Then the rest of Darz's comment sank in. Apologize? To that Domani- She cut herself off sharply. If I start thinking of her like that, I'll say it out loud eventually... Before she could think of some sufficiently polite answer, Darz had already woven his illusion and turned away. She reached up to touch the rose that rested on her head with a sort of odd non-weight that she could only put one name to: the One Power. Bringing it down, she stared at it in wonder for a moment. The sheer perfection of the rose was almost too much to bear; it spoke of easy beauty from an Age forever lost. And how had he known that particular shade of dark blue? He wove me into it... A simple thing, almost an afterthought, to one of Darz's power and skill, but a true wonder in the here and now.
The realization was too much for her shaky control. Her eyes filled with tears. She turned to Nikoru, holding the rose up as if it were more valuable than all the gold in the land - which perhaps it truly was - and speaking in a wavering, choked voice. "Aes Sedai..." She took a breath and tried again. "Aes Sedai, can we ever hope to regain everything that was lost?"

"It seems we're going to give Denath alittle demonstration of what one can do with a sword" Jazral brought his sword up to his chest, pointing towards Selene, is deep curve and tip pointing towards the sky. His knees, bent, lowering his center of gravity,he stood read. Jazral smiled and turned his head to Denath who had moved a respectable distance away form the pair. "Typicaly one does not wear a dress in a sword fight...but This is Selene Sedai. You'd be surprised what she can do with a blade"

Selene chuckled and brought the sword up in front of her face then with a twist of her wrist she lowered it back down to her side. "With you, flattery could get you anywhere." Grinning once more she decided to make the first move. Lifting her sword she made a direct attack to Jazral's side, which he easily blocked, as she wanted him to. Flawlessly she slid her sword around his in an attempt to take it from his hand but his grip was to firm, she had forgotten that, she wouldn't forget it again.
Taking a leap back she stood waiting for his attack, calculating some way to beat him. While she thought her mind slipped into the void, letting all emotions fade into nothingness she reveled in the feeling. On the outside though, she kept her haughty grin firm.

"I need not Flattery" Jazral said and smiled "I'm already in your good graces" Jazral expertly blocked her first two attacks. Her attempt at trying to disarm him right off the bad almost cought him off guard but his strenght far out matched Selenes in physical atrabutes in anycase. Jazral smiled his insticnts took hold. He took a few steps closer to selene, enough so that she had to block his sword comeing down from the sky. As his blade hit selenes Jazral quickly pulled his sword off, and spun around, ending up faceing selenes back he made a strike at her open back. just as his blade was past the point where Selene could effectively block it, she whirled around, and dropped to her knees. Her blade went for Jazals feet. Stepping back Jazral reformed his deffence stance

Selene looked up at him with a grin, quickly she raised her eyebrows at him and lunged into another attack, as his blade met hers she used the force to launch herself off the ground and into the air. Doing a quick twirl so she landed with her face to his back she tried the same move he did but he turned and blocked it with his sword. Ducking another attack she twirled down and tried to use her leg to knock him off balance but he jumped her legs and leapt back out of her leg reach.
Drawing her leg back up underneath her Selene stayed in a crouching position. "I know you're in my good graces Bonded and I'm in yours." She once again stood up into a fighting position, she hadn't blinked once and her eyes always stayed on his. Twirling her sword once quickly she began to attack again.

Jazral met her head on. locking their blades, he drew her in close, his curved blade intertwining with hers. He smiled and took a small step backwars, keeping their blades locked, he made a push to the side. trying to force her blade to the ground. As he expect she tried to keep the blade level he let her alittle and quickly whirled the blade back around the other way. but instead of letting the blade go all the way around and strikeing at her open side, Jazral droped his feet out from under him. as he hit the ground he twisted sideways alittle and scissor kicked Selenes feet out from under her, causeing her to fall flat on her back.

The breath was knocked from Selene as she landed on her back, thanks to the void she felt very little of the pain but it still struck a nerve. Jumping back up on her feet she crouched low as Jazral returned to his fighting stance once more. Once again she had her grin, as if she had enjoyed the fall, with a light growl she attacked once again. This time she ran at him and did a slide underneath, completely knocking him free from his feet.
Coming to a halt she twisted and watched him pick himself up from the ground. "We're even." She winked at him then stood up waiting for his attack, she had decided it was time to switch the sides and let him do the attacking, she doubted it would last long though.

The last thing Jazral had expected was for her to try and knock him off his feet like that so soon. He should of known better. Jazral charged at her as she took a purely deffencive. He struck out with a furry of quick blows to her sword, not ment to try and break her deffences just to tier her out alittle. He steped forward as she steped back, his sword wasnt really made for this style off attack, it worked, not as well as if he'd had a straighter sword, but it worked none the less. with one last strike he hit her sword, whirled it skillfully down strikeing at her legs, she perried and he brought the sword skillfully and quickly around his back and struck out at her hip. Selene blocked only by a fraction of a second "Whats wrong Selene? did you forget that move or are you getting tired already?" Jazral chuckled and smiled sending a warm feeling through the bond
