But still: Why to chose not to please the natural feeling of wander and questioning?

I mean, still, if Christianity is right, then when you question it, they will have all the right answers. Thus making it infalible and doubt-proof.

So you can't know your religion is right if you don't explore it thorougly.. and to do so, you must question, because you have to expect to get all the answers, right?

Maybe you aren't supposed to question because the whole facade would crumble with the first light breeze?

I mean, I know this is not what you believe in, but there is only one way to find out. If you question them and they succeed, then by god, Christianity is right...

When I was little (like 11 years old) I always had difficulty grasping (and finaly never did) the concept of "fearing god". I heard "'cause you have to be fearful of God" and on the other hand "he loves you"

I actually always thought that a "god fearing man" was something really bad, and that to be a good christian, you don't have to fear god... because he loves you!

Then when I grew up I understood that to be a good christian, you have to fear your god, and don't "tempt" him, don't "dare" him.... because that'd be too.. uhm... intellectual?

So to get back on those innocent spirit guidances:

Don't be affraid to question your beliefs, it's the only way to find out if they are right... don't fear god, he loves you, and he forgives easy, don't be affraid to question god, because he made you in his image, and he is the only one you can get answers from.

I get you, dude, and all I can say is: We do question, man. Sometimes our minds start working so hard on explaining it that we forget to believe it. Faith is not what Nietzsche said, although it sounds pretty logical.Too bad faith has nothing to do with logics. Faith, according to the bible: "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

We believe that once you die and find yourself face to face with God, all the knowledge of the universe will be revealed to you. You will reach perfection.

About fearing God. I think it is more complicated than it seems. I, personally, don't fear God Himself. I fear failing to Him. When you love God this much it hrts to hurt Him. I think I can't explain myself more clear, sorry.

yeah, valas. according to christian doctrine (i happen to be only familiar with catholic theory, but im assuming this goes for other forms of christianity as well - ANS YES GOD DAMN IT CATHOLICISM IS A FORM OF CHRISTIANITY AND ANY NAY SAYERS CAN JUST LEAVE ME ALONE ON THIS IM TIRED OF BAPTISTS SAYING CATHOLICS ARE HEATHEN AND CATHOLICS SAYING BAPTISTS ARE HEATHEN SO IF YOURE GONNA SAY IT SHUT THE ******** UP - IF BOTH GROUPS FOLLOW CHRIST THEN THEY ARE BOTH FORMS OF CHRISTIANITY!!! sorry about that, but i figured id get it outta the way before someone pissed me off) jesus is a human incarnation of god - he is the earthly form of the trinity and has the holy spirit in him - god in human shape.

I think denominations are okay, it's religion that sucks. Christianity shouldn't be a religion, as metal, it should be a lifestyle.
