Alyzandra fixed Stan with a fierce glare before he left the house. She quickly left the kitchen and shut the door, locking every lock on it. "It's people like him who make me wish I wasn't part of this stupid church!" she huffed before returning to the kitchen to make Brendan a sandwich.
In complete silence, the young woman fixed Brendan a peanut butter sandwich. She didn't know if he liked jelly so she left it off the sandwich... and if he didn't like just plain peanut butter... he would be wearing the sandwich. Alyzandra was not in the mood to deal with anyone after Stan's comment. He had absolutely no right to barge into her home and then speak like that about them. Besides, someone like Brendan was too good for a superficial klutz like her.

"Thanks" brendan said when she gave him the peanut butter sandwich. He was grateful that she had left out the jelly; he had never liked mixing those flavours. "So anyway, the reason I came here was to ask you something. Admalia told us you had company by some guy that looked like me on your way home. Is it true?" He took a bite of the sandwich before he thought that this was actually the fist time he had been inside her house.

Alyzandra shrugged. "All I know is he looked familiar and was wearing sunglasses," Alyzandra said as she picked up her sandwich. She motioned for Brendan to follow her as she headed up to her bedroom. It was easier to have company in her room because her parents never invaded her personal sanctuary.
"Why? Do you have an evil clone or something wandering the streets?" joked Alyzandra on her way up the stairs.

Hearing Alyzandra's comment, he turned and said "Sorry. I suppose I wasn't been fair to you."
I wasn't fair to her. But Brendan p*ssed me off; you don't just run off. My untimely death is likely enough without having to worry about my 'teammates'.
"But if you don't want to be part of this Church, don't be; unlike me, you have a choice!" he shouted at the window.
Damn. Why am I being so emotional? he wondered.

"I don't know about evil, I haven't seen him in ages, but yeah, you could say I have a clone" Brendan answered, trying to smile slightly. "You know that I had a brother many years ago, right? Well, he was actually my twin. If the guy you were talking to looked like me, then maybe you met him. Can you tell me anything more?" Brendan looked at her with worried eyes. If Brandon was indeed walking around on the streets, why hadn't he come home yet? This was a very worriesome question.

Hikari sat alone in the shadows, her head lowered as if in fatigue. It wasn't entirely that though... several of the sentries spotted movements... but none could follow it at all. At this rate, she would have to track it down by other means, much more draining means. A headache was growing at her temples now.

"Damn! I don't have time for Brendan's games!" he cursed, as he felt his pager buzzing.
Turning to Hikari, he said "Something's up; I have to link up with the rest of the team. Can you take care of yourself?"

Alyzandra shook her head, causing her lavender hair to sway back and forth. There was honestly nothing else she could say about the guy she had bumped into. She hadn't been paying attention. Her thoughts were all focused on Brendan... but she wasn't going to say that out loud. She was still mad at him and she didn't need him to get the wrong idea.
She took a bite out of her sandwich as she entered her room and flopped back on the bed. Grabbing her book and book mark, Alyzandra put it on the little table next to ehr bed, cover down so Brendan wouldn't see she had been reading Vampire-inspired literature and enjoying it. It would contradict everything the Church taught them.

Hikari did not reply in signal or in voice. But a shadow near her seemed to nod. She was too deep into the communication dispersion range now... breaking her connection to answer a question without warning may result in memory loss, or even loss of part of her soul. She let the shadows voice her thoughts, which they did all too willingly.

"Too bad, I was really hoping you'd know something." Brendan sighed a little, knowing that he really should've asked Admalia what she knew first. It was worth getting a look a Lyz room, he figured after a moment. He noticed that she was putting away some book, but it disn't really stick in his mind. What she was reading wasn't really any of his concern after all. All in all, he admitted to himself, it was a tad disappointing that he hadn't found out more about his brother.

"Good." said Stan, starting off to the park. He paused, "Stay safe." and then jogged off.
I'm not supposed to be alone, but I can take care of myself. Besides, if I die, it's not like anyone would care. he thought, laughing.
((Brandon probably isn't interested in him/Isn't going to interact with him, right? If so, let me know))
Catching up to Admalia, he said "Brandon's wasting time with Alysandra, but he's inside; he should be safe for now. I ran int-" he paused, at the expression on the teacher's face, which he had only just seen in the shadows.
"Them?" he asked, looking at the couple. "Her?" he asked, his hands raising.

After eating her sandwich in silence, Alyzandra looked up at Brendan. "I'm sorry," she whispered. She wasn't good at apologies because she never had to apologize to anyone. It was usually other people who had to apologize to her. It was hard for her to be humble because no matter how nice she was, she was selfish. She was an only child and generally got what she wanted from everyone, especially her parents. She was their precious daughter.
However, she knew Brendan had just been looking out for her. It always seemed like he was doing that from the shadows at school. The whole church experience had brought them together unexpectantly and she was very grateful to have someone she could depend on event hough she knew she was taking him for granted.

Hikari's voice echoed in the mind of one of those off duty. Her particular name was Kotori, little bird. The raven flew near Stan, flitting through the shadows. There were few that would sight this as odd, even if they could see. Hikari planned on keeping an eye on him... there were too many ways people could get hurt out here.

"Nah, it's ok" Brendan said with a smile. "I haven't seen him in six years, so I should've been able to wait another day until we saw each other at the church again instead or barging in here like that. I'm the one who should apoligise." He finished the sandwich before adding: "This was probably the best peanut butter sandwich I've eaten in my entire life."

Brandon watched as one of the two people outside of the house left, and the one remaining sent a bird to keep an eye out for him. This would've been a perfect opportunity to kill her, but it would be a shame to let the play unfold before the actors were even in place. Instead, he decided to follow the one who left, curious about where he was going. What he saw when he arrived was a sursrise tough. A group of people, including the woman who had interrupted him earlier when walking with Alyx, were there, watching a woman and a man. It appeared that they had somehow managed to recognize the woman as a vampire. The rules of the vampire who had turned him had tought him a very important rule: always watch out for your own kinds back. In case of emegency, he would most certainly be able to escape again. The night gave more than enough of escape routes for someone with his abilities.

Hikari felt a jolt in the back of her mind and displaced herself from the thought ring. She slowly rose from her curled up position. "I know you're watching.... and I know your name. Now please, reveal yourself." She was weakened from exerting so much energy in keeping all the ravens in order, and she knew that a twelve year old like her, especially one with such a soft voice, would be heeded easily. It was worth a try.
"I know you're there... Brandon." A sudden force rammed out from her as she got a grip of his aura... he wasn't going to escape so easily any more. All around them, ravens called out in a storm.
