Sera nodded again in response. She kept her claws out, just to be ready. Just because she wasn't going to do anything sudden, didn't mean the entity wouldn't. Best be on her guard. She slowy turned around, trying not to follow the presence with her eyes.

The presence floated about the room slowly, eratically almost. It drifted to the night stand, and silently opened it, feeling around for something before it's eyes darted around the room. It focused it's attention on Deshitan, and his pocket where the necklace was. It moved over to him, and as he opened his eyes, met his gaze. Silently he sighed and pulled the necklace out, setting it into the open hand of the presence. The presence's energy could shifted slightly, easily sensed by those around it. It then slowly went out of the room.

Sera stood motionless while the exchange took place. When the presence had finally left, it felt as though a weight had been lifted off of the room. "What was that about?"

((sorry for not posting in a while, been really busy x.x))
"That..." He looked over to Sera. "Was my mother's spirit, or presence, whatever you may wish to call it." He sighed as he walked over to the doorway. "When unfamiliar people entered here, her spirit was disturbed. But, at seeing me, and getting the pendant back, it laid her spirit to rest, she recognizes you as 'friends' of mine, or whatever the human word is."

Sera nodded. Spirits of the dead. She had never really believed in an afterlife, at least she thought she never had. Ghosts and curses seemed like such nonsence. Not any more, she thought.
"Well," She said, looking around the place, "what now?"

"Honestly... I don't really know..." He sighed as he leaned against the doorframe. He then blinked as the presence returned, holding a small shard surrounded in a faint, silver aura. The presence seemed to open it's mouth, as if talking, or trying to talk at least.

The hair on the back of Sera's neck stood on end when she felt the return of the spirit. "What does it want?" She asked, shooting a glance at Deshitan.

"What it wants... is to give you that meaningless shard of reality to you pathetic worms..." Deshwin growled as he faded into view, near Deshitan and Sera. The presence shivered and backed away, as if fearful of Deshwin.
"Yes... cower away from me spirit..." _____________________________________________________________
Deshitan growled angrily. "Why are you here father!" Deshwin only laughed and pointed at the presence and the wierd fragment it held. "That? Why is that so important?" _____________________________________________________________
Deshwin laughed maniacly. "That m'boy, is a shard of reality. And I am not going to let you impure beings get your hands on them. I shall recreate the universe, the reality itself... it shall be my world. No longer will I be confined to this... personal hell!" He threw his arms out and grinned sadistically.

Sera instinctively crouched to the ground on all fours when Deshwin appeared. She bared her fangs at him, and a frill of tiny metallic spikes raised up along her spine. She hardly noticed them.
Sera hissed softly at Deshwin's maniacal grin. She didn't like this man. Not one bit. But she did not speak. Perhaps if he did not notice her, she could sneak up behind him and slit his demonic throat.

Deshwin's eyes did not see her, but he didn't need to. He could feel the malice she held for him permeate through the air. Even his b*****d-son could probably sense it. He seemed to feed off this negative feelings, causing him to laugh even louder, with more crazed intent. _____________________________________________________________
Deshitan could sense the pure hatred emanating from Sera's body, riling him up a bit. He too, wanted to kill his father more than anything. Yet, he knew that right now, in their current conditions, not even he could stand up to his father.
"A universe crafted in your personal image..." He growled out softly. "You do not deserve that much power! There is no way I'll let you obtain that strength" He roared out at his father, the demonic aspects of him easily observable now. His eyes glowing a fierce, angry blood-red, his teeth seemed more like fangs, and his hands had shifted into slight claws. ____________________________________________________________
"Temper temper boy..." Deshwin teased, laughing softly at his son's anger-brought change.

Sera could wait no longer. He may already have discovered her, but she couldn't be sure. Hatred built up inside her, like a fire in her chest. The demon was facing Deshitan, at least. Knowing the situation was hopeless, but not taking a moment to think about what she was doing, Sera leapt from her hiding place, praying to land on Deshwin's back. Her claws were extended, fangs bared, ready to tear into his neck.

Not even a second after she jumped, the air around him visibly shifted, his image phasing out of sight. In place was a crimson shell, composed of octagons and hexagons. The second she'd strike it, it would repel her harshly. _____________________________________________________________
Deshitan's eyes opened wide as his father's image phased out.
"Stop!" He yelled out. He was not strong enough to cancel this shell out, but he could weaken it so it's effect was as strong. Dashing forewards with insane speed, his hand stopped just before the shell and glowed bright red. The octagons and hexagons turned into squares and triangles. An obvious sign to those who watched closely, that he had weakened the barrier.

Sera hardly had time to notice Deshwin's phasing out before she struck the form he had left in his place. It was as though a ton of bricks had just rammed against her. She was thrown back against the wall, leaving a considerable dent in the drywall. She fell to the floor in a crumpled heap, clutching her chest. Slowly, in great pain, she got to her feet. "b*****d!" She spat under her breath, looking around for Deshwin. Where had he gone? She would get him for this...

Ayami ran into the apartment room, hearing the noise of the loud bang from in the hallway. "What happened?" She asked, never hearing any of the conversation before.

Deshitan's laugh could be heard echoing throughout the entire building. "Tsk tsk tsk little girl..." He mocked Sera. "Your unpure being cannot harm the essence of perfection... much less me." He sounded arrogant, cocky, as more laughing echoed throughout, nearly covering up the screams of pain coming from somewhere nearby.
