Marin caught a glimpse of this and shot a quizzical look his way.

Emmett's eyes drifted back to the girl, ignoring Cyric's glare boring into him.
"Emmett." Saro growled, then leaned over the bar to grab three keys. She tossed them in her sibling's general direction. "Those are your rooms, not the whole in. You won't be in any other rooms." she said coldly.
"Saro dear, what's to stop us?" Rose asked sweetly.
She fell over backwards, landing heavily on her back as Cyric tackled her as a tiger, growling a warning.
He got off her slowly, letting her get up to her feet.
"Fine," she spat, "We'll stay in the rooms." she said angrily, sweeping up the stairs as Kari glared at Cyric and followed her. Emmett ran his eyes over Marin one last time before following them.
Cyric followed them up after shifting back, not trusting them at all.
"Now do you understand Marin?" Saro asked, not looking away from the stairs.

"Just lock your door tonight." she sighed, annoyed at the girl's inability to focus if her brother was anywhere near.

Marin nodded. "So...I really like Cyric." She said. I understand completely, really Saro. thought Marin.

"No, you think he's cute. Would you say you like him if you knew him?" she spat, reaching the end of her patience.

"Yes, I think he's cute, but that wasn't the way I meant when I said I liked him. He seemed very protective of you and that's how a good brother should be." Marin said, trying to explain.

"And I have every right to be protective." he said as he came down the stairs.
Saro glowered at him, silently warning him not to continue, which he did anyway.
"It's hard to break old habbits, particularly when it concerns her and the others." he finished.

Saro smiled faintly, not giving him any indincation of what had been said.

Marin giggled then turned so her back was facing him and blushed.

He looked to Saro for an explanation, and she mentally repeated what she'd told him earlier. He sighed and went back upstairs, smiling as he heard Saro's remark after he left.
"You know he probably thinks you're insane by now."

Marin sighed when she turned back around, "I know...I just get so shy around guys. I really wish I could get to know him, like a date or something." Marin mumbled the last 5 words, signing she wanted Saro to help.
