It was suppose to be a light green watery broth, yet she had received things ranging from foaming blue bubbles to a yellow jello-like substance. Her third attempt at the Wollingsworth Potion was sitting on a hot plate, bubbling innocently. In fact everything in the basement-turned-labratory looked innocent. Unlike its upstairs counterpart, the lab was flawlessly tidy, scrubbed to the bone, and compleatly plant-free.

An egg timer placed on the table buzzes. Time to see wheither or not if the brew is alright. Elena turns of the hot plate and leans over to peer at the beakers contents. A liquidy light green broth bubbles inside the container - perfect.
[Note: Don't ever look directly into a heated beaker IRL. 'Tis a sure fire way to loose an eye. Or something of that nature.]

She pours her treasured poison into a thick glass container, scrawling a lable and date across the top when she finishes. Setting aside her utinsils for later cleaning, Elena gathers up her top coat and gloves. It was a nice night for a walk in the woods.

The next day was spent tidying up the house. Plants needed much care, and were almost a full-time task. After finishing her tasks, Elena pinned her opera hat to her hair, draped a shall across her sholders, and tucked her clutch under her arm. She was off to the village to pay her dear neighbors a little visit.

Draped in a silken robe, Elena was sprawled across her bed, sewing needle in hand. Gerswin poured out of the record player in the corner of the room. Books littered the floor and almost any other availible space. The bedroom, like the basement, was completely deviod of plant life. It was almost a homey place. If you ignored to old-fashioned electric chair near the door.

Preoccupied with a particularly nasty knot, Elena thoughts cast over the endless to-do lists. Scrubb the Mandrake pots, harvest the cocoa beans, prune the ficus. Working on her latest dress - an emrald green contraption featuring large amounts of netting across the panners - was her current project. Now if only she could undo this knot!

Frustration marred her pale brow. Her eyes flashed anger undammed. How she hated sewing! Unfortuantly, it was a neccesarry evil in her life, for no seamstress or tailor would take her commission.
"Perhaps I should leave this fool thing! -A walk, that's what I'll do!"
With this proclimation, she cast aside her stichwork and headed for the wardrobe to change into something more suitable. Perhaps her favorite peach dress? With a crimson panner?

It was a full ten minutes before she was dressed. Much of the time was spent fumbling with the laces of her corset, the blasted thing! As much as she hated it, Elena admired herself in the mirror. A slim waist that you could encompous with only your hands, trimmed in deep green fringe. Nearly everything in her wardrobe was overly grand - lacy undergarments, tiered silken panners, blouses of intricatly stiched brocade. Despite her many layers, she walked as if she were floating. Perhaps she was, for she wasn't named a witch for nothing.

Elena smoothed her skirt and admired her handywork. She was proud of all her dresses, they were one of her few pleasures in life. Though she hated the initial sewing, the finished product always filled her with such a pride and joy that she would sweep Muo up into her arms and dance about, just like the old days. Just like the old days.

The final touches were added to her outfit and her opera hat pinned to her hair. It was unusual for her to leave the safety of the house this time of day. So many villagers cavorting about! Perhaps they needed a visit from their dear witch, which they were about to recieve.
Stepping out of the gate, Elena headed into the unknown.

Elena cavorted about her inclosed garden. She was busily watering plants, trimming the occasional stray branch. The plants were flourishing under her gental care. Rare blooms cristened the room. Beauty in a small space.

She finished her chores, returning her tools to their proper places. After stopping to rest and gaze out a window, she decided that this would be a beautiful, if chilly night to go stargazing. She began the motions of making ready to leave her beloved home for an eve's night out...

[In the her mailbox lays a golden envelope detailed in a warm blue color around the edges. There is no return address or any clues of where it came from -- Just the seal of the Cascade Kage who is on a top secret mission. There is a letter inside written in blood. Apparently she is trying to keep here whereabouts hidden to keep her village safe]
-the letter reads-
"Congratulations, Hinata was one of the 5 characters who had a prize! Here is your 500 gold you won. I hope to come back && see your progress with muo.
If you need to reply just leave a message in my house. =]
-Kagesama!"

While puttering about the yard, Elena noticed that the mailbox door was unhinged. Who on earth would send me post? Opening the golden letter, she read the note and held the money in the palm of her hand. "I guess that I made a good bet..." She said smilling, heading back into the house.

Elena twirled about the celler, beakers in hand. She had just finished up a particularly potent batch of arsenic, and was quite proud of herself. The beakers made a delicate clink when set upon the tabletop. Ah, the sound of life taken away!
